Reviews (page 7 of 7)
Crow has a nice rustic voice, but this LP could stand a whole lot less of it – each track runs at least one verse + chorus too long, and even the more interesting melodies started to wear on me. This did well on ‘00s radio with each song in isolation, but taking it in all at once became quite a drag after a while. Definitely needed some stronger instrumentals to back Crow, who sings her heart out but can’t save this bloated LP.
Standard 90s rock for moms, outside of a few (not good) weird ones like ‘Solidify’, which I guess is trying to be a funk song, and a really annoying one called ‘The Na Na Song’ or something like that (yeah that’s what it’s called I looked it up). Anyway, the rest is bog standard, including ‘All I Wanna Do’, which was better when Weird Al sang it for that polka.
worlds normalest album sorry….nostalgic and i’ve never heard it before
It would be a great album if it was 1-2 songs long
about as interesting as a Tuesday night
Not my thing. I found it pretty poppy, overproduced and uncompelling. But I love that there is another woman in this list, go queen.
Way worse than I remember
Fine. One big hit song.
- she has a very distinct confidence - quite honest as well -2.5
THere is nothing groundbreaking or super amazing about this album. Sorry Cheryl
It's very cliche and a product of the 90s. Her voice has a bit of style to it, reminds me of Gwen Stefani, but it's mostly forgettable alongside the generic country pop instrumental and overproduced effects. A lot of songs like "Solidify" and "The Na-Na Song" are just terrible, like stock music fiddled around on Garage Band. To add insult to injury, the average song is almost 4.5 minutes, despite the melodies being fairly simple, repetitive, and predictable in no way appealing. 50 minutes is too long for a pop record like this. It gets the 2nd star for accessibility and diversity. Appropriate opener and closer. "All I Wanna Do" is a feel-good country disco tune. It's hard to find anything else worthy to mention. Half the tracks were bad, and the other half were ok.
Even when I don't like something, I can usually see why it's on the list but this has left me stumped. It's such a sea of blandness and beige. There are passable tunes here and I don't dislike her voice, but it's not good, interesting, new, progressive or engaging.
Not really for me. Decent but probably not returning
Po-op
Solidly produced album with one track that stands out - All I wanna do. Not really a lasting impression that makes you want to listen to it again, apart from maybe the occasional All I wanna do.
There's a decent chance that it's my (quite literal) dogshit day, but man, this just is not it.
I was sort of impressed/bewildered by the assortment of genres on this album. It goes from blues rock to funk to a jazz ballad, but all of it with a tinge of pop-country. None of it quite reaches the caliber of the standout single "All I Wanna Do," though. The songwriting is just generally unexciting and Sheryl's vocals fail to deliver the dynamic or powerful edge needed to make it truly engaging.
That was a very underwhelming listen. Very few songs were interesting or memorable, other than All I Wanna Do (of course) and We Do What We Can. Even this albums contemporaries significantly outclass it (Natalie Imbruglia - "Left of the Middle" comes to mind). A few good songs and an overall positive "vibe" elevates this score from the bottom. 2/5.
Beaucoup d’ennui. Deux tubes identifiés “Run, baby, run” et “All I want to do”.
Sheryl Crow tries alt and it doesnt really work
early 90’s era female pop rock/folk hybrid. nothing too groundbreaking about this album. it was big when it came out, but it was kind of a product of its time.
Some good songs
duplicate
2.5 rom-com of albums
Not terrible but not my thing.
Nothing grabbed me on this. All I Wanna Do wasn't enough to bring the rest of it up. Felt a bit lacklustre.
Meh.
Ok album. Not my style. 2 stars
Le 1er album de Sheryl. Baldes relaxes/country/sofffft. Pas trop mon style. Il y a le classique All I wanna do quand même.
90's countrypop.
There’s really no need for this to be on the list. Some songs are good. Most are okay. Some are just kinda there. Overall it’s a forgettable experience.
I know all the words to this album because it was imprinted in my consciousness from being over-played on the radio for all 4 years of high school. At the time I felt it was mediocre and mainstream, but now, 30 years later, it seems solid enough for the era. Some decent tunes. Will not ever play it again.
Is ok. I probably not listen to it ever, so it falls below the 3 star threshold.
some really surprising moments, and them some bland radio muck
All I wanna do, is have some fun
All I wanna do is have some fun, but sadly this album wasn't that fun to me. Obvious talent, great voice but not for me. Did Coldplay steal from Crow, btw?
Luckily, she sings well, and it has some catchy guitar tunes. But this is some very cringy early-nineties indie country.
Är egentligen bara All I wanna do som sticker ut.
A phenomenal amount of horse wank
Ok I can't resist: All I Wanna Do is turn it off. That's the only song I knew from this album but man that cover of D'yer Mak'er is painful. I guess the music is competent enough but it's definitely not my style.
Enjoyed 'No One Said It Would Be Easy' and 'What I Can Do For You' is an interesting feminist perspective on creepy dudes. Sheryl's voice is obviously great. Otherwise pretty inoffensive, but not really my thing.
Vähän vierastan cool girl -mehustelua (All I wanna do), mut ehkä sitä ei tehdä ihan tosissaan.
I really wonder why this album is on the list! It's got nothing to do with the fact that I find the album boring (there are many albums I dislike and find boring, or whatever, that I still can understand why is included in 1001); I just don't see anything special about this album.
I've been on record as a Sheryl Crow hater...after I listen to this will I have to, gasp, eat crow? I hope not. Let's listen and find out. Not every track grates on my nerves as much as "All I Wanna Do" nor do any of them engender worse feelings but neither have any won me over as a listener. In sum, not as terrible as I expected but definitely not my thing. This record is a test of how bad something needs to be to warrant a single star rating which I have reserved for things I found truly hard to listen to. Despite some tracks being firmly in that range my eyes did not become redder with rage at each subsequent song. I want to give it one star, but I must admit it's two. *wanders off to purge his listening history now*
Someone's review is just gonna be: "All I wanna do, is turn this off" Woof, 1993 production really made sure absolutely all the edges were shorn off didn't it. I don't do power ballads but Run Baby Run really took me back - to a worse time. Just made me think of all the shit TV that was on then. Evocative though, have to say. I liked Winding Road and Change, and even if it makes you happy to an extent but mainly as a slight break from the rest of the utter dross on the clothes shop radio tape I had to listen to for 8 hours every Saturday at the time. All of those are on the follow up though. Here, All I Wanna Do is a jam, everything else is total meh, and some just bad. What next, Spin Doctors, a Pocket full of Kryptonite?
Not terrible, just not for me.
Meh
Solid hits with a real 90s vibe. Takeaways - your voice doesn’t matter! - nothing makes a better song than true intimacy - don’t be afraid to have fun, as long as it’s real fun for you! we can smell fake fun
OK, pleasant enough, a couple of good tracks good production 2.5
Boring pop. Some ok songs like We Do What We Can.
Enjoyed this more than I thought I might. Bit Tom Petty in places? Gets pretty turgid in the middle.
Surprised by how many of these I knew. Still not a fan, but surprised.
Well, it's not as bad as I expected. Still bland, but again, not that bad.
This song has some nice tunes but overall it's a bit too poppy for me.
This felt like it was going to be a chore and indeed it wasn't a great listen, but it wasn't quite as bad as I thought it was going to be and I even quite liked some of the less pop-rock songs in the latter half. Still not strong enough for more than a 2-star rating though.
So bland. How does something like this make the cut? Am I missing something?
Probably slightly less poppy then I expected, but not for me really. All I wanna do is by far the best track, but don't think I'd even choose to listen to that. 2, sorry Cheryl
Fine
Highlights: We Do What We Can, Solidify, Strong Enough, I Shall Believe Leave Em's: The Na-Na Song, No One Said It Would Be Easy, What I Can Do For You Overall Thoughts: I found this album relatively boring and shallow off the bat and it didn't really redeem itself until the final two songs. I liked Sheryl's voice over the slower more R&B sound of those last two songs much better, despite the feeling that they may not belong on this album given the sound of the rest of it. Until that point I found her voice unemotional and frankly annoying. You can go ahead and count me out for Tuesday Night Music Club. Score Breakdown: 3.09 & 2 -> 2.545
After three quite reasonable songs, this album turns into unexcitement. Exception: All I wanna do, but that somehow does not resonate with me.
A perfectly cromulent 90s alternative album. Nothing to listen to again.
I do not know why I dislike this as much as I do but I really do not like this. The Na-Na Song took the price for the most annoying song i heard in a while. The perfect trifecta of bad rapping, bad mixing and an annoying chorus. Something about 90s pop country just rubs me the wrong way. Oh and shoutout to the particularly annyoning Guiro on "All i wanna do"
I'm not a fan of this form of storytelling in a song. Too many wordplays, too many clever tricks to and disguise the blandness of the music. Tell It Like It Is, etc. Run Baby Run is a half decent tune. It would make for a good song in the end credits for a crappy soap. The Na-Na Song is lame. Nothing more than a piss poor Subterranean Homesick Blues.
Couldn’t do it. One hit. So I’ll give it a 2.
sorry, did you say something?
Inoffensive background music for supermarkets, airports and post offices. All I Wanna Do is more annoying than I remember, Leaving Las Vegas is quite good though. Crow winning the Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance over Mariah Carey ('Hero') and Celine Dion ('The Power of Love') is hilarious.
90s dinner party vibes. 1 good song (all I wanna do), rest is boring.
1/11, 9%
Började bättre än jag trodde men saknar ju ett je ne sais quoi.
Eh
There's enough material here for 3 and a half good songs, not a full album let along a whole Tuesday night. Sherly can sing, there's no lack there, but the material is a middle of the road as you can get, mixed in with some iconic 90's spoken country rap (aka crap).
overplayed, but authentic i guess. Fine for listening at work but i think boring as heck. 2 Stars? 3?
A bit dull but one magic line - ‘I like a good beer buzz early in the morning’
This album deserves to be on the list of albums you must here because it’s important to learn (or be reminded) about the absolute wasteland of 90s adult alternative music. Creatively bankrupt and musically destitute. This album just sort of happens and before you know it it’s over. It doesn’t offend anyone because it doesn’t say anything. At least it’s not U2
This didn't hold up. She's a weaker singer than I recalled, the songs are overly long, and the best bright spots are the singles while the rest is throwaway.
Not as much fun as I thought it would be. I like Sheryl’s voice and I’ve always had a soft spot for All I Wanna Do but aside from Run Baby Run I wasn’t too struck by anything else on this one.
Her vocals are tediously annoying. I can't put my finger on why, but I just don't like it.
Well what was it really? Slightly less than annoying
All a bit tiresome and tedious. Friday nights are much more fun
One alright song, the rest was just trash.
Don't even remember listening to it.
I didn't find anything exciting about this album. Solid but not much holding my attention.
Not a 1001 classic
Look there's both that wrong with this album, a few catchy tracks, but not enough to justify the rest. Too long, vocals fall out of sounding nice sometimes. But man, All I Wanna Do can get stuck in your head
All I Wanna Do sounded better on the radio in the 90s than it did this time around.
Not a Fan but also Not so Bad. 2.4
This album sounds like what I expected to sound like. I'm not really that into it, but she has a really nice voice. I would be lying if I said I didn't get bored of it at least once. Fave track(s): What I Can Do For You
mostly found this to be rather shite
It's fine but nothing to write home about
Not a big Sherly Crow guy
2.5 stars, vocals don't always do it for me. Kinda nice.
Bit too poppy for me
meehhh
Meh
All I Wanna Do is hear another album.
Mig langar svo að fíla þessa plötu en á erfitt með það. Held að ofspilun All I wanna do á sínum tíma hafi valdið því. Strong enough er samt gadem gott lag.
Meh
I do not understand why these one-hit wonder albums are on this list.
Middle of the road 90s cross over country - there are a few songs which diamonds in the rough, pop wise, but most of the album is bland.
Put on your denim and slip in to a horse trough with a nice glass of chablis. Not real country, not real rock. Stonewashed roots rock. Best Tracks: Strong Enough; Can't Cry Any More; All I Wanna Do;
Started strong with the first three tracks, very nostalgic, the rest of the album was pretty bland. Her big hit single I’ve just heard too many times.
Average
I didn't mind this album. Nothing really stood out, but nothing was terrible either. Liked Leaving Vegas, I shall believe and the Na Na song. Ok for me 2.5 out of 5
2 It's not a bad album, but it's not for me. Rated leniently for not sucking. Favorite song: No One Said It Would Be Easy
Standouts - solidify, all I wanna do
There are a number of albums that are both very relaxed and enjoyable; this is not one them.
Sheryl Crow is only tolerable for a couple of decent hits and most of them aren't on here. Tuesday Night Music Club only scrapes a 2/5 because it's so bloody beige and underwhelming.
Meh.
plagsomt
Like ikkje sånn musikk, men kan (dessverre) ikkje si at da e heilt jævlig heller
Didn't care much for the album at all. It seems to be carried by All I Wanna Do but that song isn't my favorite either. Crow's voice is nice but the country-pop style doesn't work. Ballads don't feel sincere especially since I just listened to Adele.
Ouf encore...
J'aime cet effet.
Really nothing remarkable about this album at all. I thought I would maybe like it more than I did. Nothing more than top 40 background music. 1.5/5
3/10 not my thing
Some solid songs but nothing great overall
ALL I WANNA DO IS HAVE SOME FUUUUUN I GOT THE FEEEELING IM NOT THE ONLY ONE.
Good voice. Cool guitar in a few songs. Solidify was not very good. Didn’t mind the rest.
'Leaving Las Vegas' is a great tune but for the most part I could not relate to the emotion Crow was trying to convey. Cool album cover though.
Perfectly serviceable soft rock/country album. Lovely voice. Best song: I Shall Believe
Painfully boring. She's a nice singer but this isn't made for me.
Well put together but pretty generic.
Good cure for insomnia
Snoozeday Night
Has better albums than this. Disappointing.
The first 2 songs are great and then it descends into bad 90s madness.
Too much country/pop. Not my favorite cup of tea, but some few catchy songs
Folk pop/rock, simpelt, 90’er, kærlighed
At the end of the first song, I really didn't have any complaints. I didn't have any expectations going in, but I like country music, so I didn't think it could be bad. The end of the first song got annoying though. And that's true for every song on the album. They go on much longer than they need to and it gets way too repetitive and annoying. And then, to make matters worse, this is maybe bottom 5 vocal performances I've heard on the list so far. The only redeeming factor is the very basic and inoffensive instrumentals
Gear: Grado Hemp Artwork: 🥴👖🧩 Production: 🎧🤨🆗 Music: 🏃♂️💨🎼 Rating: 🏃♀️➡️/5
not for me
Boring music club.
Perfect for anyone who thinks the music in the local garden centre is too edgy.
Wow, just wow. Not a good wow, a bad wow. Sheryl Crow obviously had fun making this album, she has good energy, I'll give her that. But the whole thing sounds like a poorly made cover album. If Sheryl Crow worked more on each song, and made them seem less like poor covers or rough drafts, the album could have had some value. Overall, not a good album.
🎵All I wanna do🎵 🎵is skip this album🎵
I thought Sheryl was good. Dang this is mid.
No.
I always feel bad disparaging these albums but this just wasn't for me :(
Shite
Wander around Lidl for a few hours and you'll hear 100 songs that sound exactly like this
oh weh, naja immerhin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dK9eLe8EQps the first cut is deepest cover gefunden..c
Not a challenging thing about this album. It was inoffensive, easy listening rock for the soft tune radio fans. It wasn’t a grating or terrible listen but I don’t really understand why it was on this list. Dull.
I kind of think of this album as background music for like a coffee shop in a book store so the first time I put it on I absorbed maybe 15% of it at best. Trying to listen more intently now... Run, Baby, Run is ok. Leaving Las Vegas sucks, and Strong Enough sucks and has a toxic message. Everyone has heard "All I wanna do" to the point that I don't even know if it qualifies as music. Ok, got it, this album was created by scientists to make people more likely to complete their Abercrombie & Fitch purchases. I decided this is where I am going to put my first 1. For a moment I paused and thought “is this internalized misogyny? The first female artist our group has reviewed gets a 1? Is it actively actually all that bad when compared with other comparable female artists of this era?” But then after this album finished the algorithm put on a track from Alanis Morissette. I think I’d give Jagged Little Pill a 3-4 minimum, maybe even a 5. Tuesday Night Music Club gets a 1 because it isn’t essential listening. You can die without having listened to it.
pretty bad..
industry crap
I really hate this style of music. Couldn’t do it. 1/5
nah
Nä det är för trist asså.
J'ai pensé que j'allais aimé. Je me suis trompée.
Influences of Stevie Wonder, make it little more country pop, overproduce, and you have a result of something utterly boring. All I Wann Do Is have some fun, and this was not it.
She looks like a nice person, but I'm sorry, this sucks.
Heartland pop/rock from 1993? I'm sorry for Sheryl, but I can't.
Sheryl Crow can't sing. The last 3 songs aren't all that cohesive but they're the only ones worth listening to. 1.4 outta 5
Never heard of this album or artist before. If I'm to judge this album by the cover like a true critic, I'd guess that I'm in for a country affair. Rock - that's a surprise. Anyways, this album stinks. The songwriting does not gel with the instrumentals at all, which leaves the album sounding pretty airheaded and frustrating. The vocals are the key problem with this. I'm sure Sheryl Crow is a talented vocalist, though the way in which she sings does not work at all. Any ounce of authenticity has been sawed off and smoothed out into a pretty awful, overproduced final product. The instrumentals are also pretty stale and unremarkable - especially in the guitar department. I wish there was more of a reason as to why I don't like this album, though these problems are persistent enough to the point where they completely ruined my enjoyment. "Solidify has a decent bass guitar hook. The percussive sound is decent, though the vocals are annoying as ever. "No One Said it Would Be Easy" is a track I can appreciate. I like the lower energy when compared with the rest of this album's offerings, and the moody, reverberating guitar is pretty good. "All I Wanna Do" kind of sucks dick. I'm surprised it was a hit. The country and blues sound do not gel with one another at all, and the vocals are rambling and discordant during the verses. The chorus is decent, though that's the only thing really going for this song. Book time. Sold well and won a few awards. Not convinced yet - off to Wikipedia I go. Has a decent critical reception. Yeah, I'm snubbing this one. In place of this album, I humbly submit Pinkerton by Weezer for inclusion on the list.
Listened to two songs, and her singing is not making me happy.
This music is for someone but that someone is not me
I just can’t with this 90s Mom rock.
Not really for me. All I Wanna Do is listen to something else! 1.5/5
This is most decidedly not my jam. Having sung backup for Michael Jackson and Don Henley and a duet with Kenny Loggins, it's unsurprising that she would want to be more real on her debut album, but if she had been a lot more real than reflected on this album she might not have been offered those opportunities with those pop stars. Pass. 1
Turd
Gimme that annoying 90s sound and SCALE IT TO THE MAX!
Reasonably palatable singer-songwriter / country-pop stuff. Relies heavily on third-person narratives, which gets a bit tired, and the same melodic intervals in the vocal lines, which also gets a bit tired. Sadly, when it dabbles in genres which veer away from the formula, it doesn't really work and just sounds a bit, well, silly. Sheryl does bring a bit of personality and charm to the table at least, but the singles are the best of a bad bunch here. I've heard worse albums on this list, but it's still a "no" from me, I'm afraid.
1. Run - 1.5 2. Vegas - 1 3. ztrong - 1 4. cry - 1.5 5. zolidify - 0 6. nana - 0 7. eazy - 1.5 8. can - 1 9. uuanna - 1.5 10. uue - 2 11. believe - 1.5
NEXT!
Bullshit!
this is what i imagine white suburban moms put on blast, just not for me
Slow, boring country tinged Pop Rock.
I liked the last two songs on the album, the rest of it was very generic pop country to me. Little bit of rock influence, but even with seeing the influence she had, it didn’t feel like anything special to me. Honestly hard to give this more than a two, leaning towards a one, just not for me.
This is just not my thing Brings back weird memories of choir in middle school
Not my thing but Strong Enough has a sweet tune. Quit after that one.
Oh fuck why I she wailing like that? The music doesn't even call for it
not my kind of thing so i don't really know
I tried. I really tried. But since the first day I heard Crow her voice has just felt like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Varsin keskinkertaista, tai jopa aika huonoa. Ei tällainen kahden markan Alanis Morrisette kyl purase. 1/5
I listened to two songs and got interrupted. Paused the album and when I came back, I really, really didn’t want to jump back in. Probably unfair of me, but there’s a new album everyday and I don’t want to drag whatever’s next just to finish an album I wasn’t enjoying in the first place.
No
Who told this woman she could sing?
Yet another album where I actively dislike the song I used to have in rotation because of the tracks I had to slog through to get to it. All I Wanna Do is a solid, jangle-y pop rock tune with a neat enough slide guitar riff to get by, but it cannot save the rest of this album and its horrendous pacing, instrumentation, and frankly, just plain lack of pleasure. Every song lags behind itself to ensure the album drags for as long as possible, and even when there is some glimmer of hope, it is immediately squashed so that Sheryl Crow can warble over some other snooze fest. Most of the album I was figuring it would scrape by doing nothing to truly anger me to the point of a one-star, but that final track would NOT END. There's a solid minute or two of her barely audibly singing the name of the song, and it is infuriating beyond belief, and completely ensured I never want to hear a song by Crow again, because if this is the best popular music had for singer-songwriters, I can't imagine what sums up the state of pop music any better in the early 90s.
Not for me 👎
Hvad laver du her Sheryl!! #hatergruppen
Måske lidt harsh, for den her plade gør godt nok INGEN fortræd, men kæft det var kedeligt
Decent songs, but this is so boring :(
What? No, please no. Just fuck off, the absolute worst of overplayed 90s ear worms Sheryl Crow is. If you're going to be nostalgic about the 90s, be nostalgic about Beck, Lauryn Hill, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Sinead O'Connor, Whitney Houston, Nirvana, Notorious or so so so many others.
Jesus christ.
Uninteresting
Her voice is grating and the songs are boring
Overproduced waste of bandwidth. This album has all the edge of a billiard ball. The vocals have the grit of a piece of wax paper. The lyrics have the depth of a kiddie pool. 1 totally rebellious beer at noon on a Tuesday out of 5 🍺
Boring, not my vibe, pain in the butt to get through. 1/5
I was going to give it 2 stars, mostly on the middling strength of All I Wanna Do. But then I read about how many people she's offended.
1 - The hit is okay, but everything else was sooo aggravating and repetitive. It should show how much I disliked the rest of the album if I don't even hate the hit and I still gave it a 1. Is this really an album I need to listen to before I die? Why?
Oh boy, a mixture of pop and country, my favorite!!!!
This could represent everything I hated about music in 1993. I still hate it.
So boring it burns.
Knappt någon vidare bra låt visst gick väl å lyssna på men inte min typ
Not a fan. Even if listening to her voice was a bit nostalgic
Wow, this is not my taste.
No fucking way. This is shit, Mary.
I am not a huge fan of this iteration of folk/country. I'd rather listen to Bob Dylan or Neil Young personally.
A couple redeeming moments but shockingly annoying for this popular of a star
Not a country/folk fan.
Still dull as shit. Lol
Sorry Sheryl. I gave it a fair shot but this just isn't up my alley. The first track was decent though!
Such an over rated human being. Shit singer. Shit lyrics
This album is an equivalent of a two old dry burger buns with a piece of old, moldy, mild cheddar slice in between them. Completely worthless. At least this list keeps surprising me with new flavours of "bad".
Hard pass
I'd rather never have to listen to sassy country pop rock, but if I'm forced to I'd prefer if it was Shania Twain. All I wanna do delivers everything the rest of the album does in a slightly better package, but it's not even that good. Probably a 1.5 as i wasn't angry most of the time but I can't bring myself to give it 2 stars.
All I Wanna Do is alright as a song, but I struggled massively with this album. I think mainly as I hated the first song, incredibly repetitive, which set me up very badly for the rest of the album. I wanted to like this based on enjoying If It Makes You Happy from a different album, but I have to say I really, really disliked this.
All I Wanna Do is the best track by far. The rest of the album was dreadful and I found myself skipping many half way through.
Not for me
1993: did not like this album. 2023: same.
Mundane.
just no
Painful
Tyvärrrrrrrrr
Super generic 90s pop with one hit. I feel like at points they couldn’t think of a thousand albums and they’re grabbing random radio hits from the years and throwing on the album it’s from in the list and this one’s hit isn’t even that good
Not an SC fan.
Didn’t listen to it
I don't like Cheryl Crow's voice. Some of the softer tracks didn't sound horrible but were just boring, and if she tried to add any edge to it using her voice it sounded like shit. I don't think a single track hit for me.
Country musicians ruining country music since always
Music my mom would listen to. There's nothing objectively wrong with it really it's just so decidedly not my thing.
This is what I’d imagine my wife would listen to if her name was Karen and drank white wine
Shite and boring
Just not much of a fan of her music.
yuck
It does not surprise me that Sheryl Crow’s 4th most listened to song on Spotify is from the Cars II soundtrack. That tells me everything I need to know about Sheryl Crow. She is also the same age as my mum. What the fuck?
Hard to categorize this as a must-hear album.
I had avoided this album my whole life, assuming it was garbage. The first track was so good and made me think maybe I had been wrong this whole time. But by the time I got to the song where she raps, I realized my suspicions had been correct.
Bland as hell. 3/10
All I wanna do is have some sick
Oof Sheryl....the early days were rough
Meh. Nope. 1
