Sorry Sheryl. I gave it a fair shot but this just isn't up my alley. The first track was decent though!
This is the first album/artist that I have not recognized. Beautiful style of music that I need to expand my horizons on.
I haven’t listened to this one front to back in a long time. Some parts are better than I remember, but the stinkers are still stinkers. It would still be a 5, but I need to put Beatles albums on their own scale for this.
I expected to think that this album didn't age well, but I was wrong, it rips.
I thought this one was gonna be corny and of-its-time, but I'm really digging it. I'm about halfway through and it's a 3 star so far. If there are any more stinkers like Spoonman it may go down to 2. Finished - good stuff! Solid 3.
Amazing and influential album that still holds up, but I’ll say it - Iron Man is a pretty dopey song aside from the outro
This was fine, but I’m not sure how it ended up in this list?
Holds up!
Solid front-to-back
Well that was pleasant.
Mostly corny, some cool stuff on the latter half.
This one is completely new to me, and I thought I wasn't going to be in to it based on the first track. But, it won me over. There's a lot of cool stuff going on in here.
Inject this straight in to my veins
TIL I really, really don’t like Jethro Tull
How do you write and record a song like Alabama Song and thing “yeah this is cool”
Love The Who, but what a slog this album is. Plus I always forget that one of their most famous songs (Pinball Wizard) is preceded by two songs about Uncle pedophile
Was the bass player being paid by the note?
I gave it a fair shake, but this just ain’t for me
Couldn’t find a full version of this album. I liked what I heard, wish I could skip rating this one until I could pull up the full version.
The first half was easily a 4, this just went on too long.
