Ok album, some good classics, indian vibes, and the late 60's vibe I usually like is there too. Globally a bit tasteless for me but understandable why it was so much appreciated back in the days

Like R.E.M but quickly get sick of his voice. Some great songs but 50 min is too long for me !
My favorite album of Radiohead, probably because its an older album.
Definitely abrasive and could not enjoy the voice nor the rhythms. Strage things was pretty good though
peculiar album, with commercials in between every song. It's hard to get into it. Would probably be better to listen to all the songs and skip the interlude onces. The song themselves are fine.
Some memorable songs like right here, right now, the rockafeller skank and praise you The rest of the album is easily forgettable 3.5
Enjoyed the voice, enjoyed the melodies. Silver Raven is probably my favourite but the album itself is good
Before starting this journey, I did not know I would enjoy Frank Sinatra but I do :) Brings you to another dimension and time and that's what you want from music
I enjoyed it and would definitely go back to it. Sounds like Steppenwolf to me. Pablo Picasso - Modern World but the album is globally good and consistent
Difficult album to rate. I don't really like the voice but really enjoyed the abrasive guitar riffs. reminded me of Les Berurier noir 3.5
Not the worst of Radiohead but apart from a song or two, I could not wait to reach the end of the album! His voice is irritating me !
Reggae and Jazzy ! Did not really enjoy the beginning or the end. That's not the music you'd expect from Edinburgh !!! Thought that Toots and Maytals were singing instead of him in some songs. I'll revisit it 3.5
On the contrary to GJS, I did enjoy the voice and the 60's vibe. Some indi vibes as well that I enjoyed. Nice discovery here.
Some nice songs like Nashville Parents but for the rest I'd say its just background music. Nothing really to remember here
Very 60's as expected. Not really my style but the album is fine.
I'd say 3 for the first album and 2 for the second. Some good material here and there but heavily diluted in the 2 hours long and quite painful albums. Happy to be done with it!
Not bad, feel like you have 5 albums in 1. Unfortunately nothing outstanding. This will remain an interesting album but forgettable.
I would qualify this album as fine but long. It's a bit like spreading a tiny amount of jam on a large piece of bread ! Better using less bread
Not bad, eclectic and with some nice vibes ! Genius of love for Mariah's Fantasy inspiration ! Will definitely revisit 3.5
Surprised myself with some foot-tapping along the album. Still not my music but it was not too bad
Did not know it and discovered that I did not need it ! Like if there was not enough of Nick Cave album
Very pleased to discover more of George Harrison. Even the jam sessions at the end are pleasant as long as you are in the right environment.
Boring !
Might like Cohen eventually ! I enjoyed this one, nice songs, lyrics and ballads
3.5 While I really enjoyed the first 2 songs, the last two were not as catchy. I'd still go back to it
mitigated opinion here, the vibe is nice but its hard to really find a mood to listen to this. I'll be happy to revisit it though
Really took me a while to made up my mind on Dr John. Hated it at first and kind of liked it on the long run. Not sure, I'd like to revisit it but why not 2.5
Quite enjoyed this one but its slightly darker than Songs of Leonard Cohen. I'd revisit it 3.5
I don't know why I always think that it's going to be hip hop !! Anyway, it's ok rock music, the rhythms are fine and the voice as well. It feels like they all sound the same and make it quite boring
Nice hip-hop I might revisit. Its still not my style but it worth existing Thought Miles was in the room for the song Jazz ! 3.5
Some rhythms are fine but most of it is painful. Don't like the voice, nor the melodies
Did not know much of The verve outside the overplayed Bittersweet thing ! Globally a good album with nice riffs. Could be confused with Oasis sometimes but no surprise on this ! Weeping pillow
Happy to never listen to this again.
Globally a good album, pleasant to listen and some nice hit in it.
It definitely belongs here but I can't really get caught into it
A voice recognizable among all others. An album of ballads, not memorable but fine and pleasant to listen as long as you are in the right mood
Falls in the category of nice background music, perfect for working as no one's singing !
Kind of entertaining after several listens. Nothing outstanding though. One of these albums that are fine but with no real soul
Quite liked the message but not the hiphop or whatever this is. Not even a single song I knew on this...
Don't like country and probably never will except when you are at Buffalo Grill ! The mandoline is probably the nicest bit of the songs
Average album. The voice is grating sometime. The major part of the album is forgettable but I kind of enjoyed it. Would revisit it in the future The light pours out of me
Was enjoying the vibe but nothing outstanding until Sex Machine started! 13.46 worthy minutes
Surprised myself with my feet moving and my hand banging with the beat ! A bit eclectic but globally pleasant to listen. Would probably not revisit though
Working space was not the right place to enjoy this album. A train back from London at 11 pm seemed much more appropriate to enjoy, the blues, the guitar and some classics. The album itself is not smooth but flows quite well
Ok to listen but boring 60's stuff. A bit of Beatles in there and I'm happy to forget about this band
Nice selection of covers !! Really got into the vibe. The voice of Otis Redding is really moving
Did not like the first half at all, while the second half reminded me of the Beverly Hills cop sounds from the mid 80's ! Hard to find the right mood to listen to this and the album is quite long 2.5
No high expectations here but it was not bad to listen. Really hard to find a mood where I'd like to play this music. 2.5
Peaceful, with different influence like Bossa Nova or middle- eastern. Always pleasant to hear her voice and other material than Son of a Preacher Man
Its a good album with good hits. It took me several listen to make my decision. 3.5
Despite several attempts, I never managed to enjoy this album
Only knew Good Feelings for having it heard in HIMYM ! Was actually happy like this. The music itself as nothing bad in it but the voice is grating and get quite painful after a while 2.5
Not a fan of punk rock, its often just noise and meaningless songs. Universal corner for its riff 2.5
To quote the song time - "Just scream with boredom" Nothing really interesting here but it's not too bad to listen. Time is actually probably my favourite song 2.5
Surprised myself in enjoying this album even though this is not my type of rap. I could probably listen to some of these songs again like "The Food"
Really tempted to give it a 4 because there's some very pleasant songs but the voice itself is quite annoying and got tired by the of the album. I don't think I'll play them again except for some songs
A nice album but quite boring sometimes when it sounds too much like the Beatles but it was the era !! My Back pages 3.5
Great year ! The album is not bad and feel like an average Oasis but somehow quite forgettable. Some nice riffs here and there and I will revisit this sometimes The concept and Alcoholiday 3.5
Not a big fan of Cohen but got pleasantly caught by this album. Could possibly be something I'd like in the future !
Never heard of them before, but nice vibe. Feeling in between Oasis and Angus and Julia Stone. Pull Together an Streets of Kenny but the entire album flows well
Some nice guitars in there but the female voice makes it sound like 90's low cost music.
Lovely voice but I still don't like Jazz, or at least not this jazz. Maybe when I grow up ! 2.5
The album was quite long but with some enjoyable beats here and there. I guess Dre's touch is what makes this album acceptable for me. Will not become an Eminem fan for sure 2.5
It's fine. A couple of interesting songs but I'll probably never go back to this again. 2.5
Never managed to like this band. Some songs are fine but for most of them I just hear noise and disturbing melodies
The first half was classic Bob Dylan (that I would not really consider pleasant to listen!) I did enjoy the second half much more as it included electric guitar and blues vibes.
3.5 Grateful dead was known for their impro on live and this album is no disappointment on that aspect. Even if I don't really know their music and this album was a bit messy, I really enjoyed the guitar vibe
I've played this album several times and feel like I'm listening to a random mix. There's no structure and every song seems to be taken out of a different album ! Quite nice to listen but can't really enjoy the album itself
Some songs are fine but the album is quite boring in its globality
This album reminded me that this type of rap is definitely not my cup of tea ! Played it twice and really struggled to finish the album both times !
Nothing unpleasant here but nothing to remember either.
Did not know the band but heard some songs before. Really enjoyed Torn Curtain
Globally enjoyed it. For not knowing Faith no more material, this was pretty interesting. Surprise! You're dead!
I usually like the 70's vibe but never managed to get into this album
Really enjoyed the first listen but got less excited wit the second one. Still some pretty nice guitar lines and vibes
Enjoyed the cool vibe and the melodies
Even if my favorite Blondie songs are on this album, the rest of it is easily forgettable and the voice can get quite unpleasant
4.5 This was very close to get a 5 ! Very nice vibe and melodies.
For Radiohead, the more recent, the more annoying is his voice !
Enjoy her voice every time a bit more. Nice ballads Help me as my favorite song and Twisted that has nothing to do with the rest of the album
Not much to say here, its abrasive, slow, intense, its Nirvana and I like it. Even if half of the songs are easily forgettable, it remains a good album that I'll keep playing.
Nothing to say here. Easily forgettable album. Reminds me a bit of radiohead but less annoying !! 2.5
Nothing bad about it, even enjoyed some songs but nothing memorable here.
Another artist I did not know. It was pleasant to listen but nothing really comes out of it. I'll be perfectly fine in listening to it again. 3.5
Not convinced by the first three songs but pleased with the rest of the album as I could get the Smiths vibe that I like
Same as the Yes album - I don't really like the album or the melodies. Did not manage to get into it after 2 listens so I gave up. 2.5
The first half was quite painful to listen while the second half provided more appreciable sounds and rhythms. Will probably not revisit this
Really consistent album with recognizable New order guitar and voice in every song. Particularly enjoyed the perfect kiss and Sunrise but the album as a whole is good
Did not like it on the first listen and started to enjoy it later on. There's some nice songs in it "The slim" for example
Did not manage to enjoy it.
I could fall asleep even if I was having Red bull in I.V.
The album is not bad. I'm not a big fan of Elton John but did not suffer with this album. I find it pretty consistent and would probably revisit it in the future. 3.5
This list will not make me like Bowie but there was some nice guitar lines and vibes in this album. I don't think I will revisit this album though. 2.5
Nice melodies and enjoyable album once you get used to the voice.
Probably avant-garde at that time and the story behind this band is interesting but I'm probably too young to enjoy it. Might revisit it one day, why not...
Always a pleasure to listen to her voice. 4.5
As U2 done anything good this century ? Had this CD in my car and never enjoyed it apart from "beautiful day"
Not the best Smiths album to me, a bit less consistent compare to the others but still good.
Not a big fan but some nice songs in here
Not the Best of the Pet Shop Boys but always pleased to listen to their music
Much better than expected. Some nice latin vibes in it too. I'd revisit it but its quite long 3.5
Probably should have stayed playing drums. My favourite song is not even on the original release tracklist Holy Man - Instrumental
Did not particularly enjoy this album Feel Flows as the highlight of these 35 min
Not the Worst of Tom Waits but I can't stand his voice and his songs. Jersey Girl was nice but I prefer Springsteen's Why in the world there are 5 albums of Tom Waits in the 1001 list !! 1.5
Cool vibes and will be revisited 3.5
Not much to say here, good stuff !! 4.5
Not convinced at first but got caught by her voice and melodies, consistant throughout the album
Globally boring. Too country for me. Could probably give it another go in the future 2.5
Pretty good album. Nothing outstanding apart from Gimme Shelter but still
You play Bob Marley in the morning and all you want to hear for the rest of the day is reggae music. 4.5
Fine to listen, nothing really to remember here
Usually not fan of the live albums but this one was really cool to listen and got thrilled by it !
Alright !!
Nothing really in this one... 2.5
Pleasant, with some hits !!! 3.5
Another Bowie.... Heroes is one of my favourite songs from him, the rest of the album is fine but forgettable.
Really hard to make a decision here. On some songs it's an enjoyable 70's vibe but (king of the world, Show biz kids) while the rest of the album feels long. Would probably revisit and might change my mind 3.5
Pretty depressive album Fistful of love being the only song I've enjoyed here
Interesting background drum and bass style. Not something I would revisit but its not unpleasant to listen and has some nice vibes. 2.5
Abrasive, unpleasant
Disappointing. Not unpleasant, just the same song over and over feeling ! Is voice is quite annoying after a while too. Tainted love and thats it !! 2.5
I like the melodies and the guitar, could get a 4 based on that but the voice gets annoying after a while and covers up the rest. Manhattan would probably be the best discovery of this album 3.5
4.5
Nice background music that could be revisited 3.5
3.5
My knowledge of Crowded House was close to 0 before Woodface ! Enjoyed the songs, thevoice and the melodies
Nice background music to revisit
Pleasant to listen, nice vibe and globally a good album but c'est pas ma came la country!
The iconic Street life, the rest of it is some nice soul vibes
Peaceful Simon's voice and nice ballads melodies ! Felt really connected to it while suffering from allergies during my holidays
My bloody Valentine..... 2.5
4.5
Good album, good vibes and happy to revisit it in the future. nice to hear other songs than the intro ! 3.5
Nothing bad about this album, its just not my music
One of these albums where you wonder if this list is not a waste of time ! Can't wait to hear the second album !!! Voice 0/5 Music 1/5 Guitar 2/5
Many songs I did not know and I really enjoyed the album even though its quite sad or slow songs.
Fall in the category of nice but easily forgettable. The album is fine but could not find any outstanding song. Future listen might change this
Played it twice and that was enough. The second listen was much more pleasant than the first one though. I quite enjoyed "wear you out" thats it
The songs are polluted by the piercing voice of an adolescent version Blondie. Plastic bag as the most painful song
Many unknown songs in this but I enjoyed the variety of influences. Red light special
Somewhere between Nick Cave and Cohen. The first half is very calm while the second feels a bit more alive. Might enjoy this more in 20 years or so !
Not too Bad
Might find it aceptable with the appropriate number of listen but why bother ! There's enough music which sounds good on first listen ! If it wasn't for the guitar, it would have been a 1
Some sun on a rainy February weekend. These vibes always bring me back to Poindimié
Not bad first solo album. Doesn't beat the Smiths but it's nice atmosphere. 3.5
This was an album I've enjoyed but its long and I got tired half way through it. Happy to revisit it 3.5
Not bad, nothing extraordinary. It feels like a weak Arctic Monkeys. 2.5
A couple of nice songs, the rest of it flows but nothing exciting about it. The album is long and you get tired of it. 2.5
I'm puzzled. There's some nice songs but at the same time, this generation of bands all sound the same with the same boring voices ! half of the album is sounds experimental and you jump from a "real song" to something weird and its quite disturbing
Some nice songs in there like Enola/Alone but its globally the type of music that does not catch my attention
A bunch of famous ABBA songs. It has never been my thing but I can enjoy it once in a while
Bossa Nova a.k.a elevator music ! THe albums flows well and her voice too
Feeling like your brain wants to escape your skull. It feels quite stressful to listen to this album. Some interesting material though. 1.5
Did not like it on the first listen. Its pretty annoying and empty to me. Could get to the end of the second listen 1.5
A nice and calm soul album. There's nothing really exciting outside of the first song really but I would revisit it
The album is ok. He's very productive but I wouldn't say that his albums are masterpieces. A couple of the super famous songs in that one and the rest of it is fine to listen. 2.5
Not unpleasant but at the same time it becomes annoying and you're happy to be done. 2.5
Played it twice and was never able to carefully listen to it or extract anything that I'd like to listen in the future. 2.5
New band for me here with good material and pleasant rock. I'll definitely go back to it. Nothing really outstanding but the album is consistent and flies
Good, fun and punchy ! Bringing me back to Radio X
Really enjoyed the psychedelic vibe of Odgens nut gone flake and the other first 4 songs. The second half of the album is a bit boring with the voice a bit annoying me. Was really close to give it a 4. Top songs: Odgen.. Afterglow Long ago... Rollin over 3.5
Indus Metal, never heard of it. Would not say its a banger but it was nice with several good songs. An album I could play again with no problem. Just one fix scare crow 3.5
A good album, nice guitar and very characteristic! I'm not a big fan of his voice which is the reason why it got 3.5 Happy to play that again in the future
Nice voice and ballads, its very relaxing to listen to her but there's nothing exceptional in this album. Happy to revisit it 3.5
Never heard of orange juice before as I am more of a Tea person ! Good album, nice rock but also nice gentle ballads The second half is globally much better Breakfast Time Tenterhook as top songs
its ok but its drum and bass. I can enjoy it as background as its not too demanding 2.5
not unpleasant, and quite nice ballads. Folk music I'd call it
globally a good album, some songs can be a bit quite annoying but there's some nice guitar, nice pedal effects and melodies. Yeah we know 3.5
Definitely not the best of Bruce. Its ok, a bit long, missing some real rock and alma !
Interesting. Nice voice, somewhere close to Joni Mitchell. Songs are mostly folk ballads but some are a bit more entertaining, feeling like a late 60's vibe like in Buffalo Springfield. Will revisit this as I might enjoy it more in a couple of years. 3.5
Strong start for them with this album ! Always happy to have this played, full of hits
Interesting is the word here. Might have been disturbing for some people back in 1973. The first song reminded me of Air. Its pleasant, making a nice background music that accompanies you
CCR, Green River. Classic, love it !
Never heard this album but enjoyed it on the first play, and the second and the third and on the fourth ! Enjoyed the usual late 60's westcoast positive vibe
Don't like them except for a couple of songs here and there. The voice is annoying, grating and their melodies boring. They sound like annoyed kids not able to decide which genre of music they want to play
Enjoyed the mix of wawa, singing in mix english and spanish. Felt like Ricky Martin and Mana and also Sergent Garcia. Would definitely revisit it 3.5 Who discovered america?
Some iconic Ska songs on this but I've never been really into ska. 2.5
One of these albums...
Weird, disturbing and mesmerising ! The three feelings I got while playing this. Felt like psytrance got it's inspiration from them. Might have been something to hear that for the first time back in the days 3.5
8 songs. 2 are ok or pleasant. The rest of it is quite annoying, soulless punkrock
Did not like it at first and it grew a bit on the second listen but still.... Happy to forget this even if there's some interesting bits in it.
Chameleon is very nice and funky the rest of it is pleasant too but did not catch my attention that much Will definitely play this again and it could probably grow to a 4 3.5
Not unpleasant but hard to extract anything out of it. I could have this as background music
Sounds like all the bands of that era, depressed with a voice like if they had been kicked in the nuts. Its fine as background music but that's it. 2.5
Felt like I knew most of the songs for being covers or because they've been covered (in French for some of them). Quite pleasant and I enjoyed it, even though I don't know when I could feel for playing this album at home. 3.5
Playing this twice required a decent amount of energy. Happy to forget about this
Probably my favourite of the three. I've even enjoyed some songs e.g Come in alone
Not their best album but still good, I wish they would have chosen Fear of the Dark instead. Strange world as my favourite.
Nice album, I've enjoyed playing it and it flows well. punky and good riffs all around. Not something I'll revisit but I don't mind ! Definitely prefer the other Aussies from the same era !
Nice and pleasant but nothing and outstanding and quite forgettable
not my kind of rap and the interludes are quite annoying.
Enjoyed this on the first listen but it lost a bit of its essence while repeating it. I will revisit it. 3.5
First half is vibrant and deserve a solid 4, while the second half can hardly be qualified as music as it sounds like random noise and screams. It feels like they've recorded that for a movie ! On average it gets a 3
A live album as a compilation of live shows ! Its like a greatest hits and I don't think it belongs here. Despite being upset with this, I've enjoyed the album, Gary's guitar did not disapoint
I don't know why this album always pops on my spotify but I was please to have it on this list. It's a good one, that flows very easily with catchy songs
A solid 4, for a solid album. Except the few first songs, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and was really please with the bluesy vibe
Relatively enjoyed this album but can't say that I will remember it. Its rock and it does the job.
Not a big fan of them, some nice songs but I get irritated by his voice and find their music a bit boring
A bit more punchy and grating than the usual Neil Young. Very nice jams in it ! 4.5 Already got the CD !
Hate to say I told you so, was on air almost everyday on the bus from Vitot to Louviers. The rest of the album was nice and consistent and the songs are nicely following each other. I'll revisit it for sure. 3.5
Not a big fan of this album. 1. Its long. 2. it has no structure 3. looks like a compilation with no clear message. A couple of nice songs diluted in the bulk. 2.5
Never heard this before and enjoyed it. I could call it good ambiance music but its a bit more than that. It has something a bit psychedelic and hypnotizing. Nice discovery here.
This is crap! A mixture of Dexys M. R. and Electric lights Orchestra. Happy to not play or hear about this anymore
Pleasant but a bit boring and too Beatlish sometimes. 3.5
Hard to understand how they got 5 albums on that list. Definitely not their best album. Some good stuffs but way too diluted.
Nothing here, annoying voice, empty songs Only one album left to go. 1.5
Beautiful album, relaxing vibe. Nice riffs and harmonica. We really feel the Dylan touch even though he wrote only one song. Will be added to the CD collection at some point. 4.5
Nice guitars and songs but at the same time its a bit boring and quite similar to the vibe I've got with the previous two albums. I'd wish later albums were selected..
Pleasant but sounds too quiet to be memorable. This year's love was a big hit in France.
I'm sure I know someone who would love this but its definitely not me. While the first couple of songs could have a had a soul/folk atmosphere that I could enjoy, the rest of it was just low cost Taylor Swift. Not unpleasant to the hears though.
That was boring. I've already forgotten how it sounds and I played it Yesterday!
Interesting album with a lot of different styles and ambiances. I'd globally enjoyed it. 3.5
Interesting! He might have lost a few fan with this one but it's nice to see artists trying to live with their time.
A good album with a couple of songs I did not know. Its disco and chill at the same time. Pretty Chic !
Sounds like a movie theme. Not unpleasant but quite hard to find a mood for this. The variation theme is a known one
Good background music. The model is well known. The rest of it was fine but forgettable
You would not expect this music in 1982, quite avant garde ! It's nasty and The message outstanding, the rest is a bit funky but also not really interesting. 3.5
rap + rock = shit ! Never heard of it before, happy to never hear about them in the future.
1st listen did not catch my attentions but the second and third definitely did. I've enjoyed the vibe but can hardly put words on it. There's some quiet and chill songs while other are a bit more punchy. Will revisit it in the future
Not mind blown by the album outside of the two famous Girls looking for funs, again and again !
This was shit the first time. I could not make it through the album the second time.
A bit childish ! The lyrics are quite dumb and so is the message ! The melodies are good but nothing exceptional. My least favourite from him
That era where a song or two were good and the rest could be easily forgotten. This fits with that era. Golden Skans 2.5
What a family ! Bossa Nova that was nicely received on a Saturday morning breakfast....
Ok album, some good classics, indian vibes, and the late 60's vibe I usually like is there too. Globally a bit tasteless for me but understandable why it was so much appreciated back in the days
Once you've passed the first song you're good ! Very experimental and also quite confusing. At the same time there are some very cool stuff in it, feeling the 70's vibe and some psychedelic touch and Hendrix inspiration. Unfortunately, its hard to find a mood where to listen to this album. I will revisit this in the future
Did not know anything outside of Tom's dinner and Luka and they are not on this album. This album is very mellow with a peaceful atmosphere. I really enjoyed it even if I could not name a song in particular. It will grow on me eventually.
Tempted to give it a 4 because it plays well and because it represents well that era. I agree with GJS on this album The nicest discovery is Everything will be alright
That was quite painful. Happy to be done and forget about them. Some songs are fine but its quite abrasive and boring.
First notes and I was seeing myself watching Ali G. The rest of it is funky/hip-hop that get annoying after some time and was happy to be done with. 2.5
There are some interesting songs with a bit of jazz influence but the rest of the album is really unpleasant. the type of rap I hate ! 1.5
Quite a funny one with riffs you expect from a glam rock album and some bangers. The voice is annoying and that's probably what's ruining it. 3.5
All these albums sounds the same: A couple of good classic songs. Some Indian vibes. And some boring ones. Btw, I prefer SRV version of Taxman! All together, it gets what it disserves.....being average
This is fine but has nothing exceptional in it. Nice 80's vibe but a big half of the album is forgettable This corrosion and Dominion/mother russia
Waste of time
Easy to play album, it's growing on me a bit more every time. Feel a bit of Whitney in her style. Also some funky notes Can't stop from hearing Tupac's "Scandalous" in "been so long" Same ole love as my N1 song
