This guy's voice is the worst

I love psych rock but I definitely do not like the electric jug.

This was a nostalgia trip for sure.

Extremely boring

Really wish this was on Spotify but I totally get it. I would have saved every single track. Never really listened to Neil Young outside of CSNY and his hits, but goddam this is good album.

Saved 5/8 songs. Some great fuzzy, psychedelia. Couple of tracks just didn't do it for me.

OK, I like electronic music but this is just soulless garbage. I make an effort on almost every album on this list but I could not finish this. It's unbearably boring, repetitive, unimaginative...

Mostly uninteresting background music. Saved 3 tracks and Broken Heart was beautiful and sad.

My brother introduced me to this album when I was 13 or 14 years old. It's been a while since I've listened to the whole thing. It holds up!

Couldn't wait for this one to end

This album reminds me of the summer after junior and senior year of high school. Cruising around in my buddy Mike's Durango and playing disc golf. Anybody that doesn't crank up Long Time to top volume and play air drums and/or guitar has no soul.

A couple of classics with a bunch of filler.

Couldn't finish. Singer is just awful

This gets 3 stars for purely nostalgic value. This was my first CD that had swear words in it and I blasted this in my portable CD player on family vacations. It definitely does not hold up listening with "adult ears" but still holds a special palace in my musical history.

This was a bit of a struggle. Very 90s and very long.

72 minutes of Bob Dylan might be a little too much for a single sitting...

Instrumentally this album is great. The lyrics are so damn corny and preachy.

Never realized how truly terrible Bon Jovi's voice is. This is only earning 3 starts because of the sweet talking guitar in Livin' on a Prayer

I don't know if it's just how much this was/is overplayed, but this was a chore to get through. I really notice all the annoying vocal flourishes that everyone since has tried to copy, like the weird word pronunciations.

I like Metallica but a lot of these songs just don't mesh with the symphony.

I like the Talking Heads and Psycho Killer is a fantastic song, but the rest of the tracks on this album were underwhelming...

As with all Bob Dylan I've come across on this list, I understand that cultural and historical importance of this music. I don't mind listening to the occasional Bob Dylan song here and there. But the incessant harmonica across an entire album becomes unbearable.

OK, I liked some of these songs. I like that this suggestion was from a band I had not previously heard of or listened to. My only gripe is the over-prevalence of this specific genre. Lots of 60s, 70s, 80s UK rock. Maybe replace those with some Australian psych rock? King Gizzard? Tame Impala? The Osees? I just fill there are a lot of genres that are just missing and instead we get 500 albums similar to this...

Much less worse than anticipated. Holy shit is that American Pie cover the absolute worst thing I've heard in a long time.

Great musicians, great producers, great rappers and overall just a super fun group. Some absolutely classics on here and some solid instrumentals sprinkled throughout. Super eclectic.

My first Frank Ocean experience. Very enjoyable, very chill.

I always say that I don't consider myself a fan of country music. These sorts of albums are starting to change my mind. I guess I need to qualify it and say that I'm not a fan of "bro country" or "country pop."

I liked about half these songs but I'm gonna go ahead and give an extra star for not being some obscure Britpop or shitty British electronic garbage.

This is such a tough one to rank. The nostalgia factor is super high with this one. Adolescent me loved this. I still really enjoy the music side of this album. But I just cannot handle Anthony Kiedis creepy ass lyrics and weird affectations throughout. Goddam Flea though. Amazing bass.

I feel like this is not the most representative work from Hooker to have on the list. That does not mean I'm surprised it's on here.

I don't remember having listened to Pixies at all before. So this was unexpectedly fantastic. Killer bass, drums, guitar throughout. Broad range of musical styles. Absurd lyrics delivered absurdly. Loved nearly everything about this. One of the few actual gems that came out of this often laborious project so far.

One of the best "recent" rock bands. Kinda weird that this made the list over R Rated, Like Clockwork and Songs for the Deaf though. Those are much better albums.

Surprised at the low ratings. One of the best live albums ever with some of the greatest guitarists ever. 5 stars. Easy

Inoffensive country

Mostly weak rhymes over annoying ass beats. Still, I get why people dig it and appreciate that it's not another no name British punk or Electronica album.

Probably in the minority here but I really don't like Debbie Harry's voice. It has a weird Kermit quality that I find off putting. Some of the music is groovy though.

Intro is awesome. Then the whole album falls off a cliff into a sea of boring.

I went back and forth between 2 and 3 stars on this. At the end of the day I didn't like any of these songs on Spotify and would never come back to this album based on the "singer" alone. Just a terrible shame since the music is actually pretty decent.

Fine background music

I was torn between a 4 and 5 but I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this. One of the few PLEASANT surprises on this list. Mostly I've been surprised at how bad some of these entries are.

Had to give it a 4 based solely on Do You Feel Like We Do, which was a mainstay on my stoner Playlist back in the college years.

This is a tough one. The whole thing is objectively bad. But I loved these guys back in the day when my musical tastes were... Less mature. Nostalgia is strong with this one.

I had a dream, Joe. I never had to listen to Nick Cave again. It was glorious.

I was all set to give this a generous 2 but then Green Eyes came on. And I gotta say, that may have been one of the worst songs I've listened to for this entire project.
