ok
Pretty nice
Like a coffee shop music night - not terrible but not good. 1.5 stars
Meh
Haven’t heard of this artist - described as Pop from 1985. I do like the 80s so we’ll see… Not really enjoying it that much so far, don’t hate it just meh. 2/5.
Pretty boring
# 101 : Not bad, very 80's singer/songwriter style. Mostly acoustic fair with beautiful melodies. I can listen to it, but I wont rush back to it. Favourite Track : Marlene On The Wall Listened : 02/11/2023
She…sings…like…this…which…isn’t …really…singing…it’s…just…talking…really…slowly…one…word…at…a…time. She kinda sounds like Jewel’s older stuff before she went full country. I rather listen to Jewel though. It wasn’t bad but I probably won’t go out of my way to listen to this album again. 4/10
Definition of just meh. There isn't a single song on this album that stands out and most tracks are just basic lyrics that just play until they finish. I didn't really get the point of this album and for curiosity sake I listened to some of her other music and it was much better. Why did they pick this album when she has better music, I feel cheated. 4/10
Just a girl and her Taylor guitar. Teeters between music that would be featured in School House Rock and an emotional scene in an 80s movie where the teenage main character walks through a wooded road thinking about their mistakes and it is kind of a montage but not really. Suzanne Vegaina. Ok, it could also be a scene in a teenage drama movie where the main character is a misunderstood bullied girl and she has reached her last straw and turns to cutting, with a Taylor guitar perfectly placed in the background, it’s a montage. ‘Straight lines’ are the cuts from the montage girl. Hear me out, it’s a teenage drama movie based in a small town of Washington State and the main character is a quiet girl who hasn’t found her voice, there is a big school talent show and her single dad who is played by some generic B list white actor with a mustache, thinks that she really should sing a song for the show, so she builds up the courage throughout the 85 min run time and after a big fight with her dad she sings on the stage ‘Undertow’ by Suzanne Veganus, as she finishes the song she peers out into the audience to see the crowd crying with amazement and her dad is in the back smiling and does the head nod of approval with arms crossed thing, in the final scene she sets her guitar down on its stand as her mustached father calls her down for dinner, as the camera pans out it reveals the logo of the guitar, Taylor, credits role over a montage of pictures of Taylor guitars. 4/10
This was fine, not rly my thing
Not my thing.
It's fine for what it is. Which is nothing memorable.
not amazing, not terrible marlene on the wall undertow the queen and the soldier
Eh, it’s not for me. I’m really only familiar with her song about the Seinfeld diner and that song got really old fairly quickly back in the 90s. This album falls pretty flat for me. It’s not horrible so I can’t give it a 1, yet a 2 seems a bit generous.
Overall, a collection of nice songs, unfortunately hampered by cheesy eighties production values once in a while. It's those horrid synth sounds painstakingly imitating real instruments--flute or strings--and miserably failing to bring adequate dynamics to the whole thing. Logically, most of the real highlights are where those eighties flourishes are kept at a strict minimum--opener "Cracking", sad and melancholic "Small Blue Thing", cautionary tale "The Queen And The Soldier", along with "Marlene On The Wall"--somehow a fortunate exception because the composition is so good you quickly forget it was recorded in 1985. That being said, there are also a bunch of duds in this debut. "Undertow" and its somewhat forced vocal performance come to mind here. And the last two tracks of this LP are somewhat underwhelming. It seems to me that Vega's three subsequent albums *Solitude Standing*, *Days Of Open Hands* and *99.9 F•" are far stronger efforts, and that they have Suzanne's most iconic tunes and performances ("Luka","Tom's Diner", "Book Of Dreams", "Blood Makes Noise", "In Liverpool", "Bad Wisdom", "When Heroes Go Down"... It's those three records that should be in this list, not her debut (pretty sure that the artist would agree herself). *99.9 F•* is especially impressive--and also criminally underrated today. It goes from abrasive soundscapes and post-industrial chamber pop (!) to stellar sad-girl anthems and acoustic initmate numbers in a split-second. Yes, "post-industrial chamber pop" is a thing--and it took Suzanne's adventurous spirit to craft such a style. Yet as wild a ride as *99.9F•* is, it manages to stay cohesive, artful and sensitive from start to end. Brains and heart reach a rare perfect balance in the course of that record. And in comparison, such a potential is only hinted at during Vega's debut. 2/5 for the purposes of this list, here translated to a 7/10 grade for more general purposes (5+2). Next, please. Number of albums left to review: 437 Number of albums from the list I find relevant enough to be mandatory listens: 263 Albums from the list I *might* include in mine later on: 134 Albums from the list I will certainly *not* include in mine (many others are more essential to me): 170 (including this one)
It’s fine. Voice is definitely the predecessor to Dolores O’Riordan and the Cranberries.
It's Indie female. At times almost brooding, some melancholy vibes, but overall fine. 2.5
There were many moments throughout this record where I simply felt embarrassed for her.
I expected better from only hearing "Tom's Diner", most of this is not interesting at all to me. Or is a bit cringey even. Definitely an album that would benefit with instrumentation with DNA like that Tom's Diner version is.
pleasant voice, but the music became redundant. not my thing.
Oh hey! I know Suzanne Vega! I know two songs from her, neither of which are on here and now I’m realizing she’s a two hit wonder. With help on one of them no less. Yawn
This first song sounds pretentious af. Whatever Suzanne. I actually like Straight Lines. Meh. 1.5 but I'll round up.
Found this a bit dull. Lyrics were meh.
It’s pretty dull
Given this is album #911 for me, and given this is the first Suzanne Vega album I'm served with, I will start with: If it was up to me and I had to choose but one Vega album, I would go with Solitude Standing or, if forced, 99.9 F. But not this one, whose main credential is "I was here first". Point is, Vega is so much better than this particular album. As for this album: Marlene on the Wall is a nice hit, but the rest of the album errs way too far into the underwhelming.
The whole time I thought this album was just on the list because of Tom's Diner and then to my surprise the album ended and Tom's Diner isn't even on this one. Fairly boring
this is not for me and the production is atrocious
Good cop: moody folk with some decent songs not marred by 1980’s overproduction. Bad cop: no real stand-out tracks. Too many weak metaphors obscuring real emotion and the blandest instrumentation of the eighties.
Kyllä tätä pystyi kuuntelemaan täysin ilman kipuja, mutta laimeaksi jäi vaikka ihan mukava ääni Suskilla onkin. 2,49*
This didn’t really grab me after four or five songs, so I put on the new King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard record instead.
It's good, but totally forgettable.
2.5
Nice voice but not for me.
Simple, easy listening, well constructed but never memorable. 2 because we've had better 3s.
strange
Really liked the first few tracks, tuned out in the middle, then liked the last one. Some bits reminded me of the tripe you see on Britain's Got Talent.
Not for me
half-arsed review sorry about it, but this was very bland.
Vega can be a really good, if not great songwriter. She has penned some classics with some terrific production. I'm not totally convinced that this collection quite reaches the heights that she's capable of; possibly something within the realm of finding her feet on a debut album. Some of the songwriting and vocals here (which should be the highlight) feel a bit washed out by the kind of bland instrumentation and production. And outside of a couple standout moments, a lot of the tracks seem a bit forgettable. Didn't hate it by any means, but probably won't be returning to it a lot. Maybe a harsh score but probably landing on a two and a half. Fave track: Marlene On The Wall
I don't know if this just hasn't aged well or what, but I'm not sure why I must hear this before I die. Why would they pick this over Jewel's Pieces of You album?
I knew Marlene on the Wall before and I like it. Most of the record didn't live up to my expectations. Favorite song: Freeze Tag.
meh
Oh shit! Everyone obviously knows Toms Diner, but I honestly have never heard anything other than that! lol Excited to see what this will be like. hmmmm she sings like a kid sings when they just make songs up. Not a whole lot of melodic, vocals. Reminds me of Frente a little bit. Wow this album is from 1985? Didn't realize she started so early.
Nothing special
She seems nice.
Simple acoustic folk songs. Unfortunately, the song writing and melodies aren't particularly memorable. Rating: 2/5 Playlist track: Undertow Date listened: 15/03/23
Boringggg. Some of the instrumentals were good but the vocals were too boring even if the lyrics were okay. Much better folk music but also much worse.
2.5/5 Not bad at all but not something I'd ever go out of my way to listen to.
Suzanne Vega’s debut album doesn’t stretch far past nice-sounding acoustic music, making this self-titled album less memorable than it could have been. Best Track: Cracking Rating: 5.5/10
eh 5/10
A pretty un-notable singer-songwriter album and not much more than that. This album had an issue I hear for Joni Mitchell albums a lot where the songs seem aimless, but at least with Mitchell there is something there musically and vocally. This kind of reeks of 80's. Not in the way new wave does, but more like just in its boring production values that just feel like they're missing something, so songs can start to feel very much the same. Only saved from a one star because nothing here actively made me angry or annoyed. Most media I'd rather be angry than bored, but that does not stand with music, because this at least did not offend my ears.
It's extraordinary how forgettable this albums was. I find it very difficult to point out anything worth mentioning that I heard today. I'm not really sure what was so good, different about this album, that it was included on the list. It's just another folk record with barely any other instruments than the acoustic guitar. Not my style, and even then, it's not something I would recommend to a typical folk or 80s music fan.
not great. usually like singer-songwriter stuff but didn't hear much here that i liked.
Inoffensive talk singing. The lyrics aren't nearly clever or interesting enough to make up for the musical deficiencies. Best track: The Queen and the Soldier
Fav song: Some Journey
What
Eh could do without.
i dont know it was fine
To be honest she was just a snooze fest. I was playing it to get rid of it. It wasn’t necessarily bad and there wasn’t anything specifically bad but I just didn’t like.
I can't quite put my finger on why I dislike Suzanne Vega so much. Something about her voice just feels like she's trying to be too cutesy-fartsy. I'm thankful for two things. First, this album is pretty short. Second, this isn't the album that includes that insipid song Luka or the godawful Tom’s Diner that sticks in your head for a week after hearing even a short snippet. I really hate those songs. 2 stars.
Indigo Girls did this better.
I didn't dislike it per se, but it's not my cup o ta
Meh. Nothing special. 2/5
Lovely vocals singing not very interesting lyrics and set to rather forgettable tunes. Amazing voice but the album felt uninspired. Highlight song was The Queen and the Soldier.
Glorified slam poetry
Like a full length Phoebe Buffay album
The music was just okay, nothing exceptionally interesting stood out. I wouldn't say that it was terrible, just not something I'm interested in.
Duf.
Pretty big in the USA. Zen vegan kind of vibes that were a good listen, but didn’t do much for me.
I really wanted to like this. Suzanne Vega has a gorgeous voice, and the guitar playing is really nice. But most of the songs are forgettable, they're nice to hear but don't do anything for me emotionally. The songs are just 'there'. Small blue thing was the only memorable song for me. This was only a first listen, I might have to revisit this one to see if my mind will change. Sorry Suzanne :(
This is American singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega's debut album. It's a straightforward acoustic folk album featuring Vega's talents. The album performed well with critics and reached platinum status in the UK for over 300,000 units sold. IMO the album was a little too "basic" to appear on this list, but Suzanne Vega does have a perfect, soothing voice which made the album tolerable.
Apart from that one track, way too bedroom nerdy woe is me type stuff
pretty guitar, trite lyrics
that bulletproof vest though
Not precisely my cup of tea but listenable
First, I didn't really listen to the lyrics so this is really a score on the music and sound of her voice. I'm sure I'm missing out in that regard, given how her wiki speaks to her poetic nature. Second, given the historical importance of this album breaking open a market for female singer songwriters, I gave this album an extra star. That said, there was nothing about this album that appealed to me.
There is something grating about Suzanne Vega that other songwriters in this genre dont possess
Why is this album on the list? I have no answers. It is folk music which isn't good, but includes some synthesized music, so classic 80s there. At least it did not venture into country music like some folk music does. Still no reason listen to the album.
Never heard of Suzanne Vega. Didn't love it.
Bit dull
Was waiting for her to start singing but it just sounded like a conversation about Chess. I liked the poetry but the music just wasn't lively enough for me. Kept thinking about the Queens Gambit on Netflix.
trök
Rätt bra story telling på en del låtar men överlag ganska tamt. Bra röst!
Some reasonable folk I guess, I have no particular desire to revisit it
Meh
I do not enjoy this and don't intend to finish
Bit slow, bit depressing. Probably wouldn't listen again
2/5 nothing special
blergh. soap opera sound track.
meh
Alright pop album here. Didn’t feel too attached to it. It’s tone was pretty mild and it was consistent through. 4.1/10
ikke noget specielt
2,5 how was this important enough to be on this list?
I mean, not really.
angsty, folky, thoughtful, but not for me - chac'un a son gout!!
Not my jam, but not bad.
Vega's vocals (though odd) are beautiful, though the entire album is weighed down by repetition in its tendency to abuse a 4-8 bar lick/chord progression throughout.
Not quite for me. Lots of talk-singing and the lyrics were really the only thing I really liked, especially on Queen and the soldier Liked: Cracking, The Queen And The Soldier*
Saved Prior: None Off Rip: Marlene On The Wall, Knight Moves Cutting Edge: None Overall Notes: These songs threaten to be good sometimes, but unfortunately it's all empty threats. Meh.
Very very forgettable
Nope
I mean, it's not bad, right? But it sure as hell isn't good. The vocals are ho-hum, the songwriting is faux-deep, and the whole thing suffers deeply from that horrible 80s studio production that leaves every instrument feeling plastic and synthetic. Acoustic guitars really shouldn't need that much processing.
Hmmm, not for me
Interesting songwriting, not my thing.
Ok album, did not grab me.
Spoken word poetry with music really, wouldn’t be my thing usually ngl
Nothing special, nice straightforward singer songwriter acoustic folky album but Suzanne Vega has better stuff than this. The only song I knew before listening was Marlene On The Wall and a couple of minutes after rifling through this set that hasn’t changed.
Start really badly, improves as it goes on and actually really quite enjoyable in parts.
Rather forgettable.
Starts really badly, improves as it goes on and actually really quite enjoyable in parts.
Some ok songs, mostly boring
Nothing here that offends the ears but equally nothing of interest to me - all forgettable stuff
Not offensive but a bit too bland to have a significant opinion either way about it. Collectively summed up as 'meh'. 2*
Was ok, couple of songs I enjoyed but the rest were mostly a bit dull
Perfectly okay. Nothing stood out really. Didn't offend but probably wouldn't bother listening again.
Acústico gostosinho; canta falando.. isso cansa
it felt like a wannabe joni mitchell
Igav
Knew one of her songs before going into this. Was hoping for better, boring.
Sounds like a less scatty Phoebe buffey from friends. But not as good and not as fun.
Album #128, Suzanne Vega, Suzanne Vega ⭐ “It’s a one time thing, it just happens a lot.” From that opening lyric, I knew we were in trouble. Not that it’s a particularly bad lyric, but that delivery. My God. I’m not the biggest fan of this kind of speak-singing style. I think it can sound a bit pretentious, a bit too cool trying to be cool. When you build your entire folk album around it though, it just starts to sound like poetry set to music. Well, this thing is just a vehicle for bad poetry. These song’s feel like poor, solipsistic, self-obsessed, ponderous poems written by a teenage hipster in her coffee shop. The album is completely devoid of humour, devoid of light, and devoid of anything particularly interesting to say. And the way these poems are delivered is just awful. It’s not really singing. It’s just spouting out stanza after stanza in a stupid staccato rhythm. It sounds like she’s trying to be Joni Mitchell, but Joni Mitchell has an incredible voice. Suzanne Vega is just speaking. It’s basically slam poetry. There is a complete lack of edge or emotion in both the vocal and the music. I don’t think the arrangements are great. I love folk music. I love folk rock. I love alternative folk music. Freak folk! Anything folk, I’m usually right behind it. So I’m genuinely shocked that I’ve given a folk album a one-star review. I’m 128 albums in now, and I’d been wondering if I’d even hand out a one-star review at all. Up to now I’ve generally been able to find merit in almost everything, even if it wasn’t for me. I’m not saying this album is without merit, and I’m not saying somebody couldn’t write a convincing five-star review of it. I could probably read it and understand their reasoning. But what I am saying is, for my own ears, this is one of the worst albums I’ve ever listened to. Worse than some of the other albums I’ve strongly disliked on this list, including Stripped by Christina Aguilera and that Slipknot album. At least those album did something. Had something to offer. This did nothing for me. It didn’t move me. It didn’t make me think. It didn’t make me feel anything. It just made me wonder how bad my review was going to be by the end of it. Towards the end she starts singing about queens and soldiers and all this stuff that I think is trying to say something grand about life and death and war and peace. But the album is so lacking in weight and substance that it never earns those moments. There’s no grit behind it. No energy. Nothing driving it forward. Nothing lifting it up. Not once does her voice push for any kind of emotional delivery. You can’t make meaningful statements about those subjects when the foundation underneath them feels so flimsy. I hated it. I’m sorry. I listened to it twice because I couldn’t believe I was about to give an album one star. But it’s a one star review and that doesn’t happen a lot.
Can we be fr
I did not like anything about this. It is not Suzanne Vega’s fault, but this is just the opposite of what I want to hear.
Good. Had Tori Amos vibes.
Hell no, this is like the antithesis of my type of music. This is like 80s Taylor Swift to me.
The reason why she basically just talks throughout most of this is that whenever she tries to sing a melody she's woefully off-key. As for the music, it's a chilling precursor to all the shit pop were swamped with now. 1.0/5.0: Embarrassing
ascoltato 3 canzoni poi mi sono rifiutato, sembra davvero merda

Artiste inconnue.
Yeah this was an album. It was music.
I’m not much of a fan of this one. The mellow instrumentation isn’t bad, but her vocals style (cadence) isn’t working for me.
Nice fake out with Knight Moves. Also, where's my fucking Tom's Diner??
Not for me
Why is the on the list? It's not good, it's not groundbreaking, and it's really not even music. 000
I feel like I’m being too harsh giving this a 1, but there’s a few factors. The singing is distracting from any good songwriting that may be here. The music behind this is quite boring and does not add to any songwriting. In fact, it takes more a way. Finally, this is so boring that I kept checking how many songs were left when it’s only a 36 minute album.
Shockingly monotonous and repetitive. It all sounded like one long uninteresting track.
This is fucking awful.
That was ass
I don't know which is worse, this or Beth Orton's Central Reservation.
Zzzz...
na segunda música eu perdi a paciência e fui ouvir milton nascimento
Nothing outstanding. The first song was good. Again, it went down hill from there and felt like a continuation from the album the day before.
I listened to some other stuff from Vega and i can confirm, for myself, with all due respect, i'd give her an overall 2. Additional 1 point is for Tom's Diner.
I don’t see it.
was not for me unfortunately, probably would not listen again and even though i liked a couple of songs lyrically i just really don’t want to listen to them ever again
speak up love
PASS. Tom's Diner is good but it aint on this album
Pra ser ruim tem que melhorar muito.
Every song is so same-y, and it’s not a good vibe to repeat on every song. Very boring.
Hostias, qué coñazo
1. cracking -1 2. freeze - 1.5 3. marlene -1 4. blue - 1.5 5. linez - 1 6. under -1.5 7. journey -1.5 8. queen -1.5 9. knight - 1.5 10. girlz - 1
not sure why I find this album...funny. the first track really sets the tone for her album. this album sure is poetry but it genuinely sounds like a bit to my ear. kinda sound like really bad 80s tv. album gets more sophisticated in lyricism.
Suzanne Vega - Suzanne Vega Pretty. Fucking. Boring.
Sorry, I just can't. If Boredom had a child with Vanilla, it would sound like this album.
Did not enjoy at all
Slow, too slow. Too wordy. No thanks.
Not much there to be honest, would not listen to it again!
Undemanding american pap. And her singing really falls off in places.
Glad that’s over.
I wish she sang more,
Woof
"Wow! This Suzanne Vega album slaps!" said nobody ever, except, apparently, the author of this list. So boring, made me want to not have ears for a day. I can't put into words how annoyed this one made me. That's a big no from me, dog
Boring. Coffee house background. Nothing really notable to my ears.
Was dull and monotone...
I’ve never really listened to Susanne Vega and after this listen, I can say I was not missing much. The album is okay but there is nothing here that seems worth hearing again. The music is good but underwhelming. The lyrics are okay but the singing is not my preference. This is something I hear on an elevator or in a grocery store as background music. Favorite song is “Some Journey”.
Sounds like she was singing poetry from a 3rd grader
“Knight Moves” comes on my headphones and a finger of the monkey’s paw curls.
‘85 was a different time, not my favorite album
No!
Nope. Immature spoken word crap. Suzanne Vega has a beautiful voice, too bad she used it for evil.
Langweiliges Geklimpere! Nichts, was hängenbleibt!
This album is like when a 2 year old tells a story. It's just made up as it goes along, meandering in circles not making any real sense. It's not offensive and it doesn't have a point.
This was not for me
Boring Boring Boring. All songs sounds the same
I remember this when it came out, with her clever lyrics and folksy sound eg 'Marlene on the Wall'. This type of music was about as far away from what I liked at the time. Although the years have been kinder to it in my opinion, its still something i wouldn't go out of my way to listen to for nostalgias sake. On top of that I still hate her voice.
Literally nothing notable about this album. I suppose it was easy listening though.
Me no likey
Not a Suzanne Vega fan sans Tom Diner I guess...
Ew
lady, enough already
A noble effort, but it doesn't belong on this list. It just doesn't.
Oh yeah Lilith fair, and Subarus. I know her name from Toms Diner (with DNA) which was a nice little track. This one is a little too folky for me for sure.
1.5 not my favorite
1.5
Singer/songwriter is boring
Why her and why this album? This isn’t even her popular album.
Delicate and sweet and not a single song grabbed me. The vocals and guitar alone would’ve been better without all the studio BS. Did not like this much if at all.
Sounds like a kid wrote these songs.
Ok, these songs not as good as hits from other albums
Lol wtf
This was boring and inconsequential. It's not bad, but this should not be on this list.
1/5. Indie pop that could be a lot better, like it's not terrible but it's really not that good. Just pretty unforgettable songs, wish there was more here but it's just a bland record with not much to offer, not even a re-listen is worth it.
This passed me by without touching the sides. The voice doesn’t appeal and I can’t remember any of the songs. Bland.
Gefällt mir nicht.
Vega has written several 5 star songs of course but not on this album, at least not for me, it is ultraboring.
not really my type
Not my cup of tea. She has a nice voice but I don't relate to it personnally. I don't like this style of talk-singing song style.
I tried, but female singer songwriters are just not my jam.
Im bored
Bad
AJ: nice acoustic guitar sounds, weird poet lady. Yikes. She does Tom’s Diner. Do do do do, do do do do, do do do do do do do do…
1 hit wonder
Meh
The music isn't bad. But her voice is flat and if she has any range to her singing, she never shows it. She is the inspiration for every lame-ass coffee shop singer that I've heard since 1990. No thanks. One star solely for the music and for not having to listen to "Luka".
i have no time for this. well done for giving folk a 90s twist, but its still folk sang with a largely uninteresting voice.
Glorified slam poetry
The fiddle in one of the closing tracks was the nail in the coffin for me
What's with the multiple fonts on the cover? What's with the echoey, poor vocal production? What's with the terrible beat poetry spoken over random guitar? Best review I saw: Enya meets Bobo Dylan. I'd only add "in a Soho coffee house." I will admit it got more cohesive toward the end. This is one star.
Personally not for me, a bit slow for my liking.
nope
Nah
This is the worst open mic night one could possibly attend.
80’er Singer/songwriter, kedeligt
I was listening to Suzanne Vega and I fell asleep. Did I miss anything? No. Ms. Vega’s vocal style is a mix of spoken word and singing, and it doesn’t work for me. It’s like she knows she doesn’t sing that well, but still tries to make her spoken word sound singing-ish. And how is there only one Suzanne Vega album on this list and it’s not the one with Tom’s Diner? WTF?
nope. this is not my cup of tea. sounds so dated.
good but not my thing
No thank you
Wrist cutting music, yikes
Didn't enjoy! Not my style, sorry Suzanne Vega!
You know how dream pop type music tends to have some of the best vocalists? Cocteau Twins, The Cranberries, etc. I guess it's unique to approach that sound but be horrible to listen to. If I wanted to hear William Shatner's start-stop delivery of words over music, I could just listen to the songs he made. Most is so dull it bounces right off my ears. When it strays away into straight folky pop it's sickeningly cheesy. That last song at least slightly stands out from the rest, but its bass is bordering on unironically being Seinfeld music. And that album art screams "Graphic design is my passion." Struggled to finish, worst thing yet.
sang toms diner
No.
Honestly was bored af the whole time. Lyrics are kind of cheesy like what I imagine reading a monologue in a check-out isle romance novel is like, but that would probably be more entertaining. The album had stopped playing at some point and I was like, cool, it's over, but turns out I had only listened to FOUR SONGS and Spotify had just died for some reason.
I didn't know any of her stuff beyond Luka and the doo doo do doo song, so was curious. Disappointed. Feels like middling 80s stuff. Julianna Hatfield without hooks?
Meh.
Nope.
Zzzzzz. Kill me.
