Enjoyed this, but can't explicitly say why. None of the songs particularly stuck out, but as a whole a pleasant listen.

I have no words for how utterly awful this is.

Great album to start with. Something I would never have chosen to listen to and I really enjoyed it. Great to get away from the same old.
Breathlessly joyful
Definitely a classic, but sounding dated to me now.
My kind of rap. A decent groove underpinning the record.
One of the great albums.
A couple of catchy enough songs, but otherwise cheesy 80s fluff.
Haven’t listened to this before. Won’t listen to it again. But glad I did this time. Just not for me.
Just didn’t hit like it used to.
Loved it.
If only the could’ve held back the years. They’ve not been kind to this record.
Meh
Catchy folky pop. Not unpleasant.
Fantastic record. Childhood soundtrack and sounds so good still.
I find ambient music endlessly fascinating, and this is so far head of its time. Works well as wallpaper music, but I recommend putting on a decent pair of cans and giving it a proper audition.
Better than Axis
A great listen. It’s pretty samey at times but it really drew me in.
I’m developing a worrying interest in prog rock. This is quite something, and you probably had to be there, but I actually kinda liked it.
Some good tunes here. Nice album.
Didn't feel particularly excited by this one popping up, but I didn't realise Pretenders were this good. Space Invader my fave.
Pleasant folky harmonies
Cookie cutter 60s stuff, but an enjoyable listen nevertheless.
Will be coming back to this one
Not completely awful
Insipid
Are we sure he was clean when he wrote this?
Oh goody, I thought. Twangy banal country BS to wade through. And (to be fair) a lot of the music is just that. But it made me realise that country music really allows the vocals prominence, and a lot of these ones are worth a listen. A few really bleak lines in there.
Nope
I hoped / expected more. Bit disappointed.
Distinctive. A bit repetitive. But also quite enjoyable.
Really enjoyed this.
Wasn’t expecting this to be good. But it is.
Solid soul album. There’s better stuff out there though.
CREAM is almost 5 stars on its own. But the rest of this is pretty average.
High hopes after first track. Dashed.
Enjoyed this, but can't explicitly say why. None of the songs particularly stuck out, but as a whole a pleasant listen.
I liked this. And I don't like country.
Deliciously 80s
Utterly forgettable
35 minutes of my life I will never get back
An extra point for being interesting
Execrable
Not sure why this sticks out from all the other "a guy with an acoustic guitar" albums I've heard in my life, but it does. Lovely piece of music.
Some nice stuff on here
I expected worse
Unrefined psychedelic weirdness, but a perfectly pleasant listen.
I’m never going to listen to this again. But I didn’t hate it and it was easier to get through than I expected.
Do you like fish sticks?
I had no idea Dylan has such an awful voice. Not being familiar with his work I was quite looking forward to this, but it’s almost unlistenable.
Unexpected gem
Probably a 3️⃣ ⭐️ for an interesting listen, but Out-Bloody-Rageous is good enough to bump this up a point.
Superb
Why do the shit albums always seem to be the longest ones?
Genius is the word
Bland non-music
Some of this sounded great. But the mixing was bizarre, as if trying to deliberately hide the vocals.
I don't even think this is possible to rate. I didn't really enjoy listening to it, but it isn't a 1 or 2 star. It's not a 4 or 5 either because I doubt I'll ever listen to it again. A 3 feels so vanilla, but here we are. For once though, I really did need to hear this album.
The more ambient sounding stuff good. The Dylan-esque tracks shite.
This is really good. Gutted it's not on Apple Music, otherwise I'd be coming back regularly.
Had to listen via YouTube as not available on Apple Music in the UK. Hard work with all the adverts.
Enjoyed this. Must’ve sounded so fresh in 1981.
An absolute masterpiece. Stunning.
Wish they hadn’t invented this one
Classic douchebag + guitar music
Except for the title track (excellent), it’s a middle of the road snore-fest that drags and drags and drags. Felt like hours long.
Incredibly irritating vibrato. Won’t be listening to this one again.
I was dreading this from the reviews, but it was a fascinating listen. Probably won’t be back any time soon, but definitely going to give some other TG a try.
1959 was an amazing year for jazz albums, and Kind of Blue is the best of them all.
Bit disappointed by this. Some great tunes, mixed in with some real cheese.
This was fun
Delightfully batshit. Cities is a great tune.
This could be the most incredible instrumental music (it isn’t) and it would still be 1 star thanks to Dylan’s utterly execrable voice and singing.
Comically bad. Felt like some sort of parody, tempted to give it another star for making me laugh. I’m about 150 albums in and have now had 4 of the 5 lowest rated ones. Good to get the crap out the way early.
Sublime
Crap
I’m struggling to put in words quite how shit this album is
Started off interesting. Rapidly became tedious.
A bit dull, really
Not as bad as the other Dylan albums I’ve had so far. Still bloody awful.
Tedious
A bit meh
Sounding so dated
Every now and again this list turns up an album by an artist I’ve never heard of, in a genre I don’t particularly like, that is a genuinely fantastic listen. This is one such time.
A bit hit and miss, but the good stuff is excellent
Excellent
Interesting at times, but not enough to ever listen to this again.
Never listened to this album before but turned out I knew most of the songs already. It's pop for pre-teens so not really my thing, but a pleasant enough listen anyway.
Enjoyably cheesy
Enjoyed this. Interesting departure from the norm.
Utterly awful. Not a single redeeming feature.
She has a wonderful voice, and this album clearly deserves to be on the list, but this just doesn't do it for me.
Cheesy, but still fun. Great album cover too.
Yawn
People like this?
Nice voice, but pretty tedious music
Q: What's the one thing worse than a Dylan album? A: A *double* Dylan album. That voice. I think I've got PTSD.
Really enjoyed this. I don't really know why.
Rather pleasant
Cheesy and over the top, but rather fun nevertheless
Some OK tunes. A LOT of crap.
Tedious non-music
Energetic!
Utter crap
AVRG
Horrendous
I definitely did need to hear this. First track is particularly hard work, but stick with it.
Bit of a chore. Definitely a snore.
Expected so much more. Pinball Wizard an island in this sea of mediocrity.
Pleasant wallpaper music
I hate Morrisey’s voice. Music is ok though.
Utter dreck. I hate that this is now in my streaming history.
Some pleasant minimal electronica absolutely ruined by Björk's vocals
So much better than expected.
"meh"
Would be great fun live. This, not so much.
Hey Siri, play some insipid anonymity.
The vocals just kill it
I have no words for how utterly awful this is.
Cheesy, but pleasant enough for a single listen.
Clearly I was too hasty in assuming my inability to sing would preclude me from having a career in music.
Itsári is a wonderful track. Struggled to get through the rest.
All filler no killer
Do they have any idea how cringe this is? “Oooh, Satan, we’re so edgy”.
460 albums in. Easily the worst so far. 0 stars.
Interesting, but never again
Come back on, ELO, and carry on playing!
Incoherent rambling
I think I got an STD listening to this
A masterpiece
A bit vanilla for me. B&S lose a point for beating the Propellerheads to Best Newcomer at the 1999 Brit Awards.
Bjork is trying her hardest to ruin this album, but thankfully the rest of the band offset it.
