Enjoyed this, but can't explicitly say why. None of the songs particularly stuck out, but as a whole a pleasant listen.

Great album to start with. Something I would never have chosen to listen to and I really enjoyed it. Great to get away from the same old.
Louis Prima

Breathlessly joyful
The Doors
3/5
Definitely a classic, but sounding dated to me now.
Common

My kind of rap. A decent groove underpinning the record.
Pink Floyd

One of the great albums.

A couple of catchy enough songs, but otherwise cheesy 80s fluff.

Fantastic record. Childhood soundtrack and sounds so good still.
Brian Eno

I find ambient music endlessly fascinating, and this is so far head of its time. Works well as wallpaper music, but I recommend putting on a decent pair of cans and giving it a proper audition.

Are we sure he was clean when he wrote this?
John Prine
3/5
Oh goody, I thought. Twangy banal country BS to wade through. And (to be fair) a lot of the music is just that. But it made me realise that country music really allows the vocals prominence, and a lot of these ones are worth a listen. A few really bleak lines in there.

I don't even think this is possible to rate. I didn't really enjoy listening to it, but it isn't a 1 or 2 star. It's not a 4 or 5 either because I doubt I'll ever listen to it again. A 3 feels so vanilla, but here we are.
For once though, I really did need to hear this album.
The War On Drugs
3/5
The more ambient sounding stuff good. The Dylan-esque tracks shite.
Moby Grape
