First listen. Listened to the original, 2012 resurrected versions and the 2021 45th Anniversary super deluxe versions. Think I prefer one of the newer versions, but all of them were great. Three favourites without a doubt are “Detroit Rock City”, “Shout It Out Loud” and “Beth”.
Kiss was on of my dad’s favourite band and he showed me and my brother their music when we were young, so they hold a special place from my childhood.
Is this a good album? Maybe not, but it brings out nostalgia for me so 🤷
First listen. A few pretty good songs. The rest was ok.

First listen.
Second Bob Marley album for me.
Quite good.
First listen.
Yeah, sure, cool.
Nobody cares, Luka got traded!?
I’ve been waiting for this one. I’ve read some of the reviews of this album, and it’s kind of funny (?) to me. Almost all the reviews from 2020 and 2021 praise the album and the artist, while those from 2022 and beyond seem less supportive of him (wonder why?). I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve the criticism—or even a boycott, for that matter—because he probably does. But it’s interesting, and kind of sad, to see the shift in perspective regarding one of this century's most innovative and influential artists.
His first release comes from a time long before he managed to make the whole world turn against him, and I am at least trying to separate his older art from the person he’s become today. But I’m not by any means saying that everyone else should try, cause goddamn he makes it difficult.
First listen.
Some of the songs I were familiar with.
Ok album.
First listen.
Ok I guess.
First listen.
Not the biggest fan of british hiphop/rap.

First time listening.
Ok. Maybe not quite my preferred genre.
First time listening to this album, but the third one from Steely Dan that i'm listening to.
It was quite good. Think i prefer both "Aja" and "Can't Buy A Thrill" over this one though.
First time listening to this one, apart from “Tiny Dancer”.
Must say that I didn’t find the rest of the album to be that great or interesting.
First listen.
No thank you.
Well. This guy is on of the best to ever do it, and I recognise that.

This was not an exception, but I found it a little bit more enjoyable.
First time listening.
No thank you.
This is actually a flawless album. Not much else to say.
Quincy Jones and MJ working together = WOW
"Searching For The Young Soul Rebels" by Dexys Midnight Runners offers a vibrant burst of energy and soul-infused enthusiasm, characteristic of the early '80s. I liked it, but I won't go back to it. While it captures the youthful spirit effectively, the album feels maybe a bit one-dimensional. Its driving intensity and consistent theme might appeal initially, but lack the variety necessary to hold long-term interest.
"Melodrama" by Lorde stands out as one of the best pop albums of the last decade, showcasing her ability to craft deeply personal and introspective narratives wrapped in lush, inventive production. Released in 2017, the album captures the emotional turbulence and introspection of young adulthood, all while maintaining a sharp pop sensibility.
Lorde's songwriting shines throughout "Melodrama," with each track offering a unique blend of vulnerability and confidence. Songs like "Green Light" and "Supercut" highlight her knack for catchy melodies and poignant storytelling, while quieter tracks like "Liability" reveal her depth and emotional range. The production, helmed by Jack Antonoff, complements her vision perfectly, creating a rich and immersive sonic landscape.
In essence, "Melodrama" is a beautifully crafted exploration of heartbreak, self-identity, and resilience. It's an album that resonates on multiple levels and demonstrates Lorde's evolution as an artist. Its impact and artistry make it a standout in modern pop music, showcasing the power of authentic storytelling in connecting deeply with audiences.
"A Walk Across The Rooftops" by The Blue Nile is an album that offers a unique and atmospheric experience, blending elements of synth-pop and jazz with a touch of melancholy. Released in 1984, it presents a rich soundscape that is both haunting and beautiful, leaving a lasting impression on those who venture through its tracks.
Not a fan of British rap in general.
No thank you. I gave it a try.
Not really my cup of tea.
First time listening to Jeru The Damaja. Quite good! Always nice to listen to some Dj Premier production.
Some good songs, some not quite so good songs.
Familier with this one. Didn't have the time to re-listen to it yesterday, but it is by no means a bad album. Quite good actually! Should probably find some time to re-listen.
Another one! Maybe a little bit better than Tago Mago, but eh.
Yeah, The Smiths are pretty great.
Not the biggest Portishead.
Not the biggest stones fan, but this one, this one, is of course pretty good!
Finally! Probably the closest anyone ever has come to perfection! This album means a lot to me and it's probably my favourite of all time!
WOW! Pink Floyds "Wish You Were Here" yesterday and then this masterpiece today!
Without a doubt a classic!
Not the biggest PJ Harvey fan. It’s alright.
Sure. It's good, just not my cup of tea.
If there ever existed a perfect album this would be the one.
