Kashmir and Houses of the Holy are great songs, but the album in general just doesn't hit like Zeppelin I, II, or IV.
Ok background music, but a little too mellow for me.
When you are in a Tom Waits mood, there is nothing else that comes close. Such a unique sound.
This would have been really neat as a studio album but the live aspects of it make it terrible. It probably would have been really neat to see this in person, but the recording doesn't do it for me.
Classic piano-driven jazz. Fantastic!
This album was surprisingly good! I was expecting the typical Beach Boys you hear on the oldies stations and in 50's diners, but this has a lot more character and depth than that.
And I thought the Sex Pistols were bad...
This is my first time listening to The XX and I really enjoyed this album.
I like the music, but I can't stand his voice.
Beautiful album. This was the first time I had heard Aimee Mann and it hopefully won't be the last. Shame this album was never released on vinyl.
Classic Talking Heads, great album!
I prefer the more upbeat tone of Born to Run, but this is still solid Boss
I do not care for old, twangy country music; and this sounds like the oldest, twangiest country of them all.
A bit repetitive at times, but definitely some classics in there.
Definitely hits that nostalgia feeling, but I've just never been that into their music.
Classic Black Sabbath, but I prefer the Paranoid album
A bit on the strange side, even for Bowie.
Was he was forced to write it on the spot as he recorded? It almost sounds like it's supposed to be bad. So many disjointed lyrics, it's like one of those Rick and Morty bits on intergalactic cable.
I assume this album is used as torture at Guantanamo.
Screaming French carnival music. No Thanks.
I was excited for this album because I always liked Where Is My Mind, but the rest of the album is nothing like it. A lot of harsh sounds and screaming lyrics that I just don't enjoy.
I feel like this could have been a great album, but the jerky lyrics and off-key singing just took me out of it.
Not for me. She has a beautiful voice, but this is too melancholy for my taste in music.
Cool instrumental music that can be found in a bunch of movie soundtracks.
The album started off ok, but fell apart for me in the later half.
A little too old school for me.
Classic Bowie, good stuff
Kinda weird but not bad
Not something I would buy, but I enjoyed listening to it.
I don't think this is the worst album I have heard on here, but it's a contender! Seriously WTF?
More like spoken word poetry than music.
I liked this more than I expected. I find a lot of electronic music annoyingly repetitive, but this was good! I wouldn't consider it a must have, but if I come across a copy I will definitely take a closer look.
I am not a fan of Abba, but it's better than Mama Mia.
From the first few seconds on track one, I thought I was going to hate this...how wrong I was! I think it's the surprisingly perverse lyrics that keep popping up unexpectedly that is so entertaining. I love it!
The best Elvis album in my opinion.
Probably Adele's best album.
At least the songs are short. My view of this album is summed up perfectly by Track 10 - Don't Care.
Sounds like a mix of Dylan and the Beatles. I like it!
Easily one of the Stones' best albums!
Such a great album! Awesome beats and smooth flow.
Liked it all except We Will Fall, such a waste of 1/4 of the album.
A little weird for me
Funky 60's music. Not bad, but kind of all over the place.
It's Dark Side...you shouldn't even have a turntable if you don't have this album.
Not for me.
This is my first time listening to the Go-Betweens, and I like it!
These guys are like the worst parts of all the great rock bands of their time.
When you are in the mood for funky hippy music, this hits the spot!
Not a fan.
Surprisingly good
YoU kNoW, nOnE oF tHoSe AcTuAlLy FiT tHe DeFiNiTiOn Of IrOnY... I don't care! This album is the national anthem of the 90's and it's perfect!
I don't dislike this, but I can't imagine ever choosing to listen to it.
ain't nuthing ta fuck wit!
Mostly, if not all, covers with a few "I don't know the lyrics" thrown around. Not for me.
Classic Beatles. Excellent!
My favorite Pink Floyd album!
Terrible
Not the worst, but far from the best.
First time hearing Hookworms and I like it!
This one misses a lot more than hits.
Obviously a banger, but I've just never liked Metallica.
I just don't like country...sorry Willie
This is the worst. I don't know how anyone could listen to this and enjoy it. It's just a mash-up of the worst parts of metal and EDM music with some random bible references and screeching noise tossed in. 0/5
Like a soundtrack from a bad Mel Brooks war movie.
This is the worst Morrissey album on here so far.
Not my style
Started off good, but the last couple tracks...yikes!
Terrible.
This isn't music.
I like jazz but this is too chaotic
Cars ARE Cars!
Hated it
