The New Tango

I think I prefer Piazzola solo.

I'm not familiar with this artist or album, nor am I terribly familiar with tango music, but this sounds new and interesting, so I'm excited to dive into it. Overall, this was fine to listen to. Even with what felt like a fairly restrictive group of instruments to work with, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of sounds on this album. The vibraphone, piano, and bandoneon all combined to make some great sounds. I don't know if all tango music has a bit of an Italian feel to it, but I enjoyed how the bandoneon gave a Mediterranean flair to these arrangements. Even though these songs were pleasant and interesting, the length of them was a bit off-putting for me. That might be due to my unfamiliarity with this type of music, but I tend to be pretty critical of longer songs in general. I also didn't like the sharp plucking of the violin that was present on most of the songs. However, on "Operation Tango," I really enjoyed the violin parts. My biggest criticism of this album though is that all the songs felt anxious in tone. I don't know if it was that violin plucking that made me feel that way, or the tempo of the songs, but either way, I would have enjoyed a little bit more range of emotions from the music. Still, this was a unique experience, and I enjoyed listening to this album.

At times I was really enjoying this modern, jazzy version of tango... At the end of the day, I'd rather listen to the authentic tango than this. But worth the listen.

Good dinner music

I was quite keen to play this, not being familiar with tango, let alone new tango, but really it left me cold. The vibraphone makes it all sound a bit like elevator music. The Montreux audience seemed to love it though.

Not the sort of album I expected on here but I don’t dislike it! And I always love a live album. Okay accordion?? I will say I don’t really know what genre this is? It’s nice instrumental music, I just think it’s a little disjointed sometimes? And I feel like for instrumental to make an impact it really has to *do* something for me. It’s just hard to rank this against “Rumors.” Maybe I’m a bad person for having this take…. I just don’t think I love it. I’ve decided it’s the vibraphone! It’s throwing me off. It’s a 3.5 so I’m giving it a 3.

I can’t even articulate how much I loved this. It was all completely new to me and it hit me like a truck… I really have no words here. Probably because I don’t know how to talk about music in any useful way, but really I am just in awe. It’s like gnashing, angry noise, but sad and beautiful and melancholic, and I was happy, and then I was staring pensively out the window… idk. I need an extra star or two for this one. (ntm.)

first listen this is really wonderful

When treated as a ‘sit down and listen’ experience, this is definitely too long. But its not intended as that, its a live album ffs. Everything here is crafted very well and never feels repetitive.

Good craftsmanship but the music is easily lost to my ears

Now I know what you're thinking, "Oh jeez, just another bandemoneon and vibraphone player teaming up for the glory, money, and fame." But NO! These are two musicians at their finest, doing what they do best. Piazzolla continues his unparalleled advancement of the entire genre of Tango. Meanwhile you have the master of marimba, the virtuoso of vibraphone, the GOAT of glockenspiel, Gary Burton himself tearing it up throughout the entire album. It's unusual, really good for a live album, and despite not being sure if I enjoyed it I do respect the musicianship. Good genre expansion for the 1001 album list.

Never heard this before, and never heard of the artists. I didn't really think this was the type of music that was on this list. In any case, the music sounds just fine, but just left scratching my head.

Very easy-listening and quickly fades into background music for me.

Seems like it doesn't belong in this list. Not because it's not good (or bad), but because it's an album of Tango music.

The marquee names on this album are a vibraphonist and a bandoneon player (which is apparently subtly different than an accordion) but the band is strong all around. The pianist is excellent too (adding some drama to the compositions) and the violinist has some great solos. The interplay between the two main performers is dynamic on “Vibraphonissimo”! The vibraphone in particular is very fun to listen to on that song. It sounds like the notes are bouncing around my headphones like a ping pong ball. The last two tracks, “Operation Tango” and “La Muerta Del Angel” get pretty frenetic and wild! Lovely album.

Beautiful cinematic noir jazz that makes you feel like you are transported to new settings. I really enjoyed this album, and an unfortunately poorly timed computer restart made me lose a few paragraphs of review here. I essentially wrote that this music reminded me vividly of when I was in music school; cold outside the auditorium but warm inside, dimly lit, half asleep, and relaxing while listening to stuff like this. Good hit of nostalgia.

A bit too jazz

Interesting and dramatic. Highly skilled, especially the vibraphone player. The music is a bit dramatic for my tastes, and the high to low slides of the fiddle are a bit distracting.

A beautiful record with some virtuosic vibraphone playing. However, most of the melodies aren’t that special to me. Still a fun one to listen to though.

Bravo! From frantic to mellow with much in between. Heavy on the xylophone, sawing violin, and accordion makes the album sound dated. Nuevo Tango is the best track. Many of the numbers would work well as the soundtrack for high energy cartoons. Liked it enough to rate the album at (2.7*s)

I'm a sucker for melancholy violin and this album came at the right time, very emotive and interesting overall. I'm not familiar with Tango so I don't know what New Tango does differently, but I enjoyed it. It's good background music, it could be the soundtrack to a section of Fantasia made by Pendleton Ward and Tim Burton. "Nuevo Tango" stood out, "Laura's Dream" is a whole mood (very moving). The set runs a little long, but it's like a ballet for blind people so it gets away with it. It's the best you're gonna get from a xylophone paired with a giant accordion. I actually listened to it several times through.

Interesting arrangement of instruments. Accordian teams up with a vibraphone and it's quite nice. Something I would expect to hear at Nan & Gramps. I can't say this will come up in my Playlist again till I maybe hit 70 but the list provides...2.4.

I can't say I expected much as I got to the artists wiki and Spotify pages. I'm not familiar with tango in any way really. There's some pretty crazy arrangements that include some rapid pace xylophone? and string work. Others are a little more somber with some pretty emotive strings and piano. While an hour of it was more than I needed, there was more than enough to take in that I don't regret the listen. That being said I'll file this away forever as a "huh, kinda cool I guess". This dude's Spotify discography is ridiculous. It seems like they recorded every show he ever played and just posted it up. 2.48 stars

When I awoke to see the being the album I was definitely disappointed simply because it’s not something I’m used to or desire usually. However that’s the whole point of this, to be exposed to new music styles and genres. Given that, I think this album leaned toward the “okay, and” side for me but at points it was nice to listen to. I see why it’s on this list however not something I really enjoyed.

The first half feels like music to a 70s comedy train caper starring Michael Caine before switching channels to watch obscure Looney Tunes cartoons. I really want to like this more than I do - in a way I want it to be *more* weird. I'm left mystified after listening and I feel like my 3 is even a little generous, but knowing the musicianship on display here I felt a little badly giving it less... 5/10 3 stars.

When I first read "Tango", I immediately imagined the dance, or the music to the dance, but this is so much more, and so much different. It's really a type of classical music. Super dynamic — at times energetic, at times sweet and delicate. I'll need to listen to this at least a dozen more times to truly absorb the details. Excellent discovery.

I didn't love the album, and I didn't dislike anything about it. However, I wanted to keep listening to every track just because I wanted to know where each song was going. It's an odd Jazz/Classical/Folk fusion album and a unique listening experience

This felt like a very unique sound to me. Listened to it for most of the day and didn't get bored of it. Was downright jaunty at times. I really liked it.

Really talented musicians and writers. Interesting enough and not a bad listen, but, just not my bag and something that I'd get into.

I listened to it 5 times throughout the day. Absolutely lovely. Incredible musicianship; delightfully jazzy; emotionally charged. It's got everything. Going to have to pick this one up.

I get how part of this project is to get you to listen to things you would otherwise not. But this is basically like a soundtrack to a very long children's TV show from the 1970s.

Learned about the Bandoneon reading about Astor. And Burton is a mean vibraphonist. Not entirely my cup of tea but the instrumentation was varied enough to keep my interest. Vibraphones and Bandoneon's are not what I think of when I think of tango music or even jazz, and that's kind of what makes this collaboration and album special.

This was fantastic. I thought that at the very least, I’d be exposed to some tango and it would be cool, but this was much more complex than that. These are intricate compositions that cover a wide breadth of styles.

This was not what I was expecting when I saw tango. This album has classical, jazz, and a lot more. Fun, energetic pieces that make for good work/study music. I’ll be adding this to the get-shit-done repertoire.

Yikes, well, this was super disappointing. I kept trying to picture being at some cabaret show watching sultry dancers tangoing away. And then the vibraphone would come in and take over again and it was like something a bit naff from the 80s. Damn you Gary Burton

This was some great stuff. Well played vibes are like listening to a dream. Weird how some of it sounds like something I’d have heard from Mr. Rogers, though. That is a compliment…the world needs more Me. Rogers related anything.

I torn. Part side truly enjoyed but other parts were too frenetic for me. You definitely have to be in the mood for it. I’d give it a two or three.

I’m not one to hate on ambient music like this and it was interesting to hear tango for the first time but this was to the point that it basically sounded like royalty free music that would be on it’s always sunny in Philadelphia or something. Not bad to listen to but I could barely pay attention to any of it before my mind sought out other stuff to engage with.

Xylofon, eller vad det är, hör man inte ofta och det finns goda skäl till det. Den är irriterande jobbig och störig. Precis som dragspelet. Är det jazz eller tango? Skickliga musiker men meningslös musik.

Det är inte värdelöst. Ändå bitvis stämningsfullt. Grundläggande är det rätt trist dock. Och inget jag kommer lyssna på igen alls. Men min poäng är att det inte är obegripligt. Ändå rätt musikaliskt. Rytm och melodier. Fiolerna är ju vackra. Dragspelet är lattjo och bitvis låter det som soundtracket till 12 apornas arme (operation tango). Nästan bäst av dessa "udda" jazziga/världsmusik-aktiga album. Ibland applåderar publiken mitt i en låt. Fattar ingenting. Om jag suttit i publiken hade jag bara apat efter och också låtsas fatta vad vi applåderar.

Tycker detta var bitvis vacker och ganska trivsam lyssning, även om det blir ett jäkla pling-plongande från den något överanvända vibrafonen (?).

Boy did I love this album. Absolutely fantastic. The only question I have is if they’re going to include albums like this on this list, why the hell are we listening to so much shitty 70s prog rock?

There were parts on every song that I really liked, but then it just went bit too modern for my liking.

Some of this sounds like the soundtrack to glamorous tango nights of yesteryear, while other sections are straight out of a vintage English steam fair, with many messy movements in between. Overall, not an easy listen and induces slightly stressful feelings. Wanted it to end.

The only thing better than discovering a brilliant album is discovering a brilliant artist with a whole back catalogue.

Really like the vibraphone and orchestral sounds, but not for my casual listening.

It was alright, maybe I expected more from a live recording at Montreax. It had interesting tango-like music, but overall kind of slow and repetitive.

Mixed feelings on this. Parts sound like the soundtrack to a Mafia movie, parts sounds like the coolest jazz band ripping the vibraphone and then parts feel like being a lift. Torn between a 3 and a 4, but I’m going to be harsher with my marking.

This is simply not my kind of music. ‘All the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order’ as Eric Morecambe might say 😀

Two-thirds chill vibe, one-third a little too much freeform jazz. The violin scratches on "Nuevo Tango" were reminiscent of the Psycho soundtrack - very unsettling. Not my favorite.

There was some good on this album, but the barrage of freeform minor key rambling was disconcerting for me. Not a great listen.

Absolutely loved this album! It's rare to hear so much vibraphone let alone as a featured instrument. It's hard to imagine this is a live album as well. The clarity is outstanding and really feels intimate. Can't imagine seeing this in person; must have been a blast! The musicianship on this is top notch all around. I'm torn on this one. If I were in the audience when this was recorded live, I could see myself being absolutely enraptured. This genre of nuevo tango music is surprisingly anything but boring. Sure, a few songs stretch on too long without going anywhere, but for the most part this was a very dynamic listen. However, I think that as a packaged album, most of the appeal is lost. I don't see myself putting this on again unless I host a party with an '80s Argentina theme.

Don’t know my new tango from my old tango but quite liked this one

in terms of musicianship, in terms of technique, in terms of artistry and performance, this is incredible in terms of the music i like, this isn't for me. It kind of sounds like Final Fantasy music, which is a compliment for sure, but at the same time, i am not sure that records like this are the reason i decided to take on this challenge. one and done lad

This is my first foray into Tango, let alone "New Tango" that this album is dubbed as, both in the title and with its genre label. I guess "New Tango" sorta emphasizes the jazz fusion aspects of the genre. Bandoneon player and composer Astor Piazzolla seems to be a prominent (if not the most prominent) figure in this genre from what I've read. He's joined here by Gary Burton, the vibraphone player alongside Fernando Suárez Paz on violin. There's also a slew of other players on bass and piano; there is a very diverse set of instruments and players here. Bass and drum aside, these tracks are entirely composed of piano, violin, vibraphone, and bandoneon and the best part of it is that there's no real instrument that sticks out, it's almost like a large time-share between all the instruments. I know this is typical in jazz but this effect was only amplified here because each instrument gives off such a unique vibe. Astor's bandneon for example gives off an unsettling, looming aura, while the violin portrays something epic, clean, and elegant. Sometimes one instrument is at the forefront for a certain period, and other times, a bunch of instruments are blending in with one another. The vibraphone is the most consistently present here, being layered on top of a lot of "solos" here. I love how most tracks follow this sort of wave pattern, reaching peaks and troughs in pace and energy. While the speedier moments, especially when the violins come in, paint a more classical, baroque-era image, the slower segments of this album feel mysterious as if something's lurking or building up. I love the way the pace picks up near the middle of the song "Milonga Is Coming" and how it slowly fades into ambiance near the end, it's very subtle. I have to mention the fact that this is a live recording; aside from the clapping, it's difficult to tell. It's all recorded so well but still, the typical live energy is certainly there. After the slow, almost improvisational vibraphone-exclusive opening, I love the way the violin, piano, and bandoneon drive the second half of the song "Vibraphoneissimo". The titular track may be the most visceral song here. I'd attribute that to the violin primarily, but the way the instruments take turns stating their presence while also blending seamlessly with one another was incredible. I like the screeching violin noise that crops up occasionally as almost a transition to the next part of the song. This is an incredible song. "Laura's Dream" sounds like its title, it's a dreamlike, very slow, and long track, that I admittedly didn't find very interesting when listening to it actively, but it had a strange, lulling effect on me which I assume was at least somewhat intentional. "Operation Tango" may be the most cinematic-sounding song when considering the song name and the lead violin melody; it almost feels like the climax of the album. Maybe as the album grew on, I started to grow tired of the limited instrumental palette and formula established on this live recording, but it never really became sour or unenjoyable. I think it speaks volumes to the amazing musicianship of all those involved in this when I say that this thing kept twisting, turning, and fighting until the very end. Even though I may not revisit this one super often, it was certainly a great experience and an even better introduction to this style of music.

I really liked the first tune. It made me feel like I was in a dinner club in the 1940's. I wore a white tuxedo and my dame wore a nice evening dress. I enjoyed this album. Not something that will be in regular rotation though.

Found this tough going at times. Not really my thing

I think I like tango in general, and this album was nice enough, but nothing about it really grabbed me. I don’t think it’s fair to compare it to elevator music or hold music, but I must admit the thought occurred to me…

There are some legitimately beautiful moments, some overly dramatic moments (it’s tango, after all) and exceptional musicianship on this record, but I’m not sure that it would ever make its way to regular listening for me. I would have to be in a very specific mood to put this on.

This was a difficult one to rate. I do quite like this nuevo tango thing and remember enjoying the albums Tristeza de un Doble A and Zero Hour. This live album was a mixed bag for me, though. When in the right mood, I enjoyed it a lot, but other times some of the faster virtuoso bits were getting on my nerves and I wanted to turn it off.

I don't really get into it, e.g. the first track is hookless and long, but there are some nice moments later on.

I had no knowledge of or context for this. As an old fart muso it was great to be surprised and delighted by something on this. I strongly suspect the 1 star reviewer who described this as elevator music didn't go past the first track or they've been on some fairly frantic elevators. Ach they've made me do an unintended Mick Hucknall reference. Told you I'm an old fart muso.

Straight fire

Inevitably, there will be albums in this challenge that not only push me outside my comfort zone, but beyond my depth of knowledge and comprehension. The New Tango is the first album I've encountered so far that makes me feel this way. I know nothing about Tango, so how could I begin to appropriately appreciate the New Tango? If this were still 2009 and my 1997 Toyota Corolla stick-shift was still kicking, and I had this stuck in the CD player connected to the tape deck until I bothered to pry it out, I could see this growing on me. There's clear talent on display here, that's obvious. The more this leans into jazz, the more I enjoy it. Burton's talents as a vibraphonist are captivating, and "Vibraphonissimo" is a clear stand-out. I also like the energy of "Nuevo Tango," which is where I think Piazzolla brings the biggest jazz influence for himself. However, the rest of this album feels dependent on either a smooth jazz element or classical elements. And I’m as unfamiliar with those sounds as I am the tango. And maybe it’s my unfamiliarity with those genres, but the whole thing felt very melodramatic in a way I find disengaging and uninteresting. The fact that these moments eclipse the avant-garde, the jazz, and even the virtuosity of Piazzolla and Burton both, as well as the backing band, feels like noteworthy sticking points. Even the violin is louder in the mix than Piazzolla, which feels counterintuitive. I wonder, if I were to see a video of this performance, would I be swayed? Do I just need to revisit this later? I sat with this for a few days, trying to revisit it and feeling unable to ever feel the desire to even want to examine it and sink my teeth in, and I think that’s the root of my issue with this album. It’s not that I don’t understand its importance or its compositional brilliance, it’s just that, really, this is not the sort of album I enjoy. It’s not one I’d revisit aside from trying to continue to “get it,” but it also seems like it’s not the album that’s going to sway me to enjoy this style of music any time soon, though it does as much as I think any album could to get me to the line. But here I am, still at the line, and my honest reaction is apathy and respect, nothing more.

I accepted it for what it is and quite enjoyed it.

An intriguing mix of vibraphone and Concertina/Bandoneon, incorporated into something that can at times remind me of Gershwin-style fusing of jazz and Classical, with a little gypsy jazz violin thrown in. It's a pretty impeccable live recording. Not something I would have ever thought to listen to. I'll be listening to this more. Favorite is Nuevo Tango.

Wonderful work. Great musicians, great music. I suppose difficult for all, which are not used to jazz, tango or similar music but if you are patient enough to listen a few times to this album it will pay you back!

I felt like I was watching a French movie the whole time. It was really good musicianship, but I doubt I’ll come back to it anytime soon.

One of those albums where the performance is impressive but I felt emotionally distanced from it. There are moments of playfulness & fun during the tango, but of course this is New Tango, which sometimes flattens out the quirky, idiosyncratic rhythms with more atmospheric, noodly passages. (No love lost to the opening track, even though it's an odd choice to begin the album). This may be the best vibraphone showcase in 1100 albums, so I have to shout that out at least. Starts out as interesting background music. Somewhere in the 5th song I couldn't handle it anymore. Felt like being stuck in some kind of silent movie about an insane person at the circus.

It was OK. Felt a little dated, but inoffensive. Decent background music.

I've been listening to this hold music for so long I forgot who I'm calling.

Very impressive musically, but not terribly interesting or enjoyable for me. If you're into this sort of thing, I could see it being amazing. But I'm not, so it wasn't.

Interesting and quirky instrumental work, they could communicate passionately or delicately with one another. I loved the variety of instruments used too, very unique album: 3.5

Did,'t know they were still doing this kind of thing. It could be from the 60's under 'Experimental' Jazz. It's not unpleasant but I've heard a lot of stuff like this from the early Jazz greats and the only difference would be that it's slanted towards Tango?

Tango? Piazzolla? I had my doubts, then I saw Gary Burton and thought “this may be interesting “. It was very good. The tango rhythm was ok but the instrument mix and the musicianship saved the day. 4 stars

I think this was a really good album. Day 15. After reading the reviews I wasn't hopeful for this album. There are so many 1 star reviews, but, there were also some 4s and 5s, which I'm happy about. People were saying that this is an instrumentally-focused album, and that they didn't like that, but I'm currently halfway through the first song and I am quite enjoying the mysterious, slow vibe of "Milonga Is Coming". The generator is saying this record focuses on genres such as "World" and "Jazz". I have never heard of World Music, but I do enjoy Jazz quite a lot. Can't wait for the rest of this album. It's only seven tracks long, which is surprising, it's almost EP length! But the record's run time is 58 minutes. I was in for a pretty good musical hour, I would say. Being released in 2005, this is the most recent album I've listened to so far. I quite like this one.

Pretty wacky but amazing

Sounded like an attempt at modern classical music, didn't get much tango out of it. Every song lasted too long and was pretty pointless. Just a frantic mess. Clearly talented though, just not for me in the least.

Overall I liked it, not really my style.

The album grew on me as it went along. I think my favorite track would be the building intensity of "Operation Tango."

As far as instrumentals go, I like the noises in this one a lot. It was really fun! Like imo this should be a 4 but the fact that I think an instrumental should be a 4 makes it a 5 I think. 9/10

I thought tango was supposed to be upbeat dance music, so this didn’t really match my expectations. As it went on I started to appreciate it more for what it is. Astor is really good at transitioning from quiet chill vibes to exciting, so you don’t even notice it’s happening until it happens, which is kinda cool. Still wanted more dance though. 6.5/10

Definitely an album made to appeal to diehard tango fans. But no one can deny the musical proficiency on display here.

I had no idea who these people were. It made me research Astor Piazzolla and his studio stuff feels very cinematic and odd. I wouldn’t be surprised if Danny Elfman was inspired by him. While I don’t think the live aspect improves this there are a couple of tracks that I love. I can see this is a divisive record, but as a guy who loves listening to movie scores this was a treat. 4/5

Modern Argentinian tango on accordion and vibraphone. It's good to know this exists, and it's also good to know that I'll never have to hear it again. Within 40 minutes, it was hard to remember a time in my life that hadn't been soundtracked by intense accordion.

I suppose overwrought, overproduced elevator music needed to be represented on the list, so this makes sense in that regard. That doesn't mean you have to listen to it.

I don't know anything about tango but of course I've already heard Astor Piazzolla's name. It's a tight, virtuoso live tango album, which sounded really good quality to me. I enjoyed this album; too bad the album I've found on youtube had some muted minutes which disturbed my experience of listening the album. Perhaps I'll listen to it again later.

Had no idea what to expect from this album but I really liked it. It was a lot darker and weird than what I was reading in the comments about it being elevator music. I'd listen to this again.

Liked it a lot through the first half but second half dragged on to me. Rating: 3.8

I wasn’t sure about this album when it started. Vibraphone, Bandoneon and violin? Not an instrument grouping that Imagine, one expect. The opening track seemed a little unfocused. But as the album progressed, it really sucked me in. There’s a complexity in the songs/arrangements that is really interesting. I’ll never be enthralled with the key instruments, but it works well in this setting. I’ll be listening to this again, and can see it potentially in my collection in the future. Solid 4/5

If I ever feel the need for xylophone jazz then I'll remember this. But that's never going to happen and this was the first album I have up on.

This was very different to everything else I’ve listened to so far. I know a little Albeniz so tango music isn’t new to me but this was pretty interesting and experimental, and it worked well as study music. It really dragged tho, lots of pieces had interesting sections but it was far too much for me. Not bad at all, but I wouldn’t ever pick it out to listen to. 2.5/5

this crowd goes hype over anything lol. these guys are good tho, great show. Not a fan of the jarring stabs in nuevo tango. The accordion in these final tracks is kinda losing me...a little grating on the ears.

some great musicianship here, especially some top-tier vibraphone playing. however, i feel that even though the musicianship is high, the music itself is not quite for me. i felt this one was a bit middle of the road. pleasant and nice enough, but not quite to the level of 'interesting' for me.

so funnn, and the playing is so great, so fresh. The more you hear Piazzolla, the more your recognize his style, and it's super distinct and fun to follow

Tango, nuevo tango.

A very placid, sensitive beginning, warm, beautifully meditative, deep. The accordion is moving like a cat by night. Everything is tense and I loved the sombre character of this in the beginning. The concert‘s end is aiming to much towards an explosive crescendo which diminishes the total result a bit. Still: a very great performance that everyone that was attentive it should be happy about.

Vibraphonissimo was like a symphony in my ears! I love the sound of vibraphones, Gary Burton really nailed that performance. The style of music was uplifting, but not one I'd return to regularly. Glad to have experienced it!

I guess I don’t like tango… there were some interesting arrangements but it was too dramatic and lacked the cool of other jazz albums I’ve enjoyed. I also put accordion in the same dark cupboard as the harmonica… these instruments are surely only enjoyable to the people playing them. I’m going to be completely honest and say I gave up on this. Not for me.

It took a few tries to get in the mood of this one, but it was worth it. Virtuous and full of substance.

I never would've given this a try otherwise, but it served as a great soundtrack to my tidying session on this dreary November day. I made sure to take the time to really listen to and focus on some songs and it was really enjoyable. I especially loved Vibraphonissimo and Operation Tango. Great stuff!
