Great album, very long. A few songs lost my attention as the album went on.

I was really struggling with this one. Why is shout so long and droning? Then the last 3 songs kind of won me over and I’m relistening. There are a couple of droners but I get it now. Down marks for the pain of sitting through "I believe" twice.

I like Funeral better! This one's always been pretty okay for me, but more of a subdued background sound.

Background music. Can’t get into it!

Solid. Toss up between this and White Blood Cells for my favorite White Stripes.

Pure 70s. I think I'd have to be in the right mood to really enjoy this. Mellow and sad?

The first few songs were really painful. The rest were standard cheesy dance tunes.

3.5 stars, rounded up because of the other bad albums I’ve gotten lately. Love the sound, somewhere between the clash and misfits. Not sure how memorable these songs are though.

This could have been a 1 for the last couple torturous tracks. The album answers the question "what would it be like if Radiohead had far less musical talent?"

What cruel person would rate this fewer than 5 stars?

Some of this rocks surprisingly hard. But some of it is droning and boring, with a weak finish.

Great sound, and songs don’t overstay their welcome. Obviously influenced by the Clash but I hear a lot of what these guys did in late 90s skate punk.

Surprisingly dark, I only knew PG from his hits and they aren’t like this.

I think he knows what rock music is but not why it exists. I don’t feel anything listening to this. He sounds like a background singer on his own tracks.

All you 1 and 5 star-ers are overstating your case. Solid 3 star album. Obviously a big influence on what was to come.

Each track sounded like an intro track for a harder rock album, but of course the big hit never came.

Love the voice

These guys could pump out AC/DC or Zeppelin b-sides all day. Interesting to hear the intersection of these bands and the Beatles. Earnest and energetic but not enough to win me over for another listen.

Jazz, I just don’t get it. I thought John Coltrane was a name I’ve heard, this will finally be the “good” jazz that gets my heart pumping and has me listening for every creative twist and turn. It still just elevator music.

The last few tracks almost moved it up to a 3 but the first half was too annoying.
