Supergrass
4/5
Great album with tight, catchy songs. Not much to add, really.
4 stars/8.5 out of 10
Best songs: Late In the Day, Richard III, Sun Hits the Sky, Going Out
Led Zeppelin
5/5
Always liked this album a lot but some of it never fully connected with me. On this listen a lot of it came together more. Still feel like it’s 4 or 5 songs too long but there’s so much great stuff it’s easy to overlook.
4.5 stars/9 out of 10
Carole King
5/5
Such a homey, lovely, plaintive album. Almost perfect, the song Smackwater Jack only flaw throughout the whole album.

Not my absolute favorite Talking Heads but a great album. I prefer Fear of Music and Buildings and Food more.
Low 4.5 stars

What is there to say about this album that hasn’t already been said? Really great but I like OK Computer and The Bends a little more.

Very good double album that would have been a fantastic single album. Loved Ice Cold Ice, Could You Be The One, She Floated Away and Charity, Chasity, Prudence and Hope.

I loved this album as a teenager and guess what? I still love it now! It still holds up. Love Shirley’s attitude. She’s a badass.

Nice and boring, like something that plays in a new age shop while you shop for crystals.
2.5 stars
The Residents
2/5
This album is very unsettling. Now, I don’t mind unsettling but this is a bit too much for me. I get what they are doing. But I’m not sure I like it too much.
Ok, I kind of like Lizard Lady. That’s kind of funny.
But I think it is hard to tolerate this for 35 minutes.

This is mostly a pretty pleasant but bland album. Why is this here? Nothing special and it’s way too long.

3/5
Some very good songs: Kick, Push; Real, Daydreaming, Hurt Me Soul, AmericanTerrorist. Too long of an album. If trimmed could have been a 4 star album. As it stands:3.5 stars, 3 for this site.
Frank Black
3/5
Pretty good but too long!
3.5 stars, 3 stars for this project
The Temptations
4/5
Fantastic first half of the album. Ok second half. That equals 3.5 stars. Soooo…..I’ll be nice and round this up to 4.
Destiny's Child
2/5
Very puzzling entry. Is it because Beyoncé is involved? Quite possibly.
Best songs are the singles and Samantha Sang/Bee Gee’s cover. This album also showcases Beyoncé’s biggest flaw: her tendency to over sing. LOTS OF FILLER.

Going 4 on this, always liked this album a lot but it is a bit too long. There’s an easy 4.5 to 5 star album here if they trimmed it down a bit.

U2
4/5
Sometime I think, ugh, U2. Great. Then I listen to one of their albums and I think, yeah, this is very good. And that’s what I think of U2. A very good band that was shoved down our throats in the 80s and 90s as the best band out there, when they were merely a very good band. And this is a very good album. Definitely not a masterpiece, there’s some filler. The hits are great. 4 stars.

This isn’t bad, but it’s pretty bland with moments of decentness. Even though it’s 48 minutes it’s way too long. Low 3 stars.

Really good, tasty 80s R&B. 4 stars

Always want to like this more than I do. That said, I do like this album quite a bit. High 3.5 stars that I’m going to give 4 on this site.

I’m not feeling this, man. The organ grates on me after a while. The songs are kind of boring too.

It’s fine, but ultimately did not move me.

I liked this! Pretty groovy and jazzy and a bit Stoney. I’m giving this a 3.5 for now but I think it’s a grower so I’m going 4 on the site.
