I've not listened to much Clapton but I think this may change after listening to this. Amazing guitar, beautiful melodies... album works really well and I will definitely listen again Deb - enjoyed this one, quite eclectic in terms of style, easy to listen to.
We both were surprised by how much we enjoyed this compared with other Nick Cave albums
I remember purchasing this when it came our and being blown away by the creativeness of a group releasing two albums in one. It was great to be reunited with it but I am not convinced it's an album that will go back into regular circulation.
The only track i know by the Violent Femmes is Blister In the Sun. I quite like the music but don't like the lead singers voice or as Deb says instrumentally they are strong, vocally less so! Deb is happy not to listen to more, Siân may explore further!
Deb : Gorgeous, soulful album; easy to listen to. Beautiful melodies & strong lyrics. I recognise a good number of the songs from (too many) years ago! Sian : I was obsessed with this album when it came out and it remains an absolute gem.

So I have heard of Muddy Waters but not listened to him. I don't particularly love live albums however, I quite enjoyed this one. Will potentially try out some non live recordings! 3 Deb - okay as background music,some of it is a bit samey. Wouldn't necessarily chose it! 3
Do I like this album? Yes. Do I feel it's overhyped? Also yes. I was never a Nirvana song and came to them after Cobain's suicide. Whilst I will always love some of their songs I will always find a lot of it to just be noise. 3 5 Deb - liked parts of this but found it noisy 2.5
We both felt surprisingly underwhelmed by this one. Whilst listenable neither of us felt it was anything special
Don't think this one needs words... it remains outstanding after all of these years!

This was a big surprise. Mych more upbeat than anticipated. M7sically and lyrically strong!

Typical Pink Floyd - not our favourite but still v listenable
Whilst I am not typically a huge live album fan I really quite enjoyed this one.
His voice and the Samey sound of some tracks prevents a higher rating. That said a few tracks have made it to my Spotify likes
Neither of us had heard of The Soft Boys before this, however, we will be regular listeners now
A name I recognise although o don't think I have previously listened to her. This will be changing and I'll be checking out more. Sian : I really like this album - lyrics and words are amazing and it sounds much more fresh and new than it is!

Deb : not my favourite but still a solid RW album Sian : late to this album as at the time I was way too angry at him over TT breaking up. Surprised by how much I like it. I think I am one of the only people on the planet who hates Angels (I think it sounds like it belongs on football terraces)

I struggled with her voice... I found that she was like a weird Bjork, Regina Spektor cross and it just wasn't for me... i also struggled with the length of some of the songs. I think if this album had been recorded by someone else I'd potentially have loved it...
It's listenable and although I love UB40 I prefer them as a live band to an album group

Strangely enjoyable although at times it feels more like a Prodigy album than like his later stuff. Can't believe that this was my first listen to this album.
