great background music, but not really something I would sit and listen too. not bad, just not my thing

There's a lot more Stevie wonder on the album than Stevie wonder you would like
I'd forgotten how good the first few songs were, but the remainder of the album is same and dated.
some standout tracks on here, and nothing to be skipped
There’s a stack of potential on this but most of it is ruined by his potty mouthed ramblings
not a huge sitar fan
loved this. previously dismissed what I'd heard of the zutons as them being just 'ok'. listened again already
great songs. great vocals. gone at 27 :(
Great discovery. Never heard of this guy before but I can see how he’s been an influence to some artists i like
not his best work
thought I liked Neil Young more until I listened to this, now I realise I like some Neil Young tracks, but he has a lot of skippable material
difficult choosing between a 2 and a 3. There are some excellent tracks on here, but they go on too long and there are (in typical blues style) plenty of 'JUST GET ON WITH IT' tracks
With the exception of Corpus Christi Carol this is a great album. Hallelujah being an obvious highlight, still reminds me of Shrek before Leonard Cohen
nothing standout. some familiar and nice sounds but an easily fogetable experience
familiar soft bass, weary vocal, occasionally shifting pitch and sounding like he's forgotten to take a breath. inoffensive and incredibly samey
The initial excitement on seeing this album was short lived. Magical Dream shows how much this sound has dated, and whilst it picks up slightly with Corbra Bora it certainly doesn't excite me like it would have 30 years ago. Pacific 202 is the gem on this album, a variation on Pacific 707 which is still a great record/tune/track/sound/thing
Pleasantly surprised
This could be good, but it isn't. similar story to Kendrick Lamar (but not as bad). Some good ideas, the music is well put together, but the lyrics and the vocals are dreadful. not only did his mother lack a bar of soap to wash out his potty mouth, but he sounds amateur with his delivery. great foundations but shocking build
high energy, great songs, wish I was there, want to buy a piano
This is what all music would sound like if each band member was remote and individually dialled in over questionable internet
Started well, but lost interest part way through. nice sound but very repetitive
Started promising, but the remainder conjures images of lutes and skipping
Not bad for a Christmas album but still a Christmas album
Consistently underwhelming
pace and voice make all sounds feel long and same
technically interesting, but not my taste
self indulgent toss
I would never of expected tracks like Jamaican Jerk Off, and Social Disease from Elton John, but they are on there and need to be heard to be believed. Couple of good well known tracks but overall it suffers from too much confidence. sometimes you need to think 'is this shit?' and care
just boring. even Layla is tedious, there's nothing to it beyond the riff
Pulled into the 3s by one song

Some great intros and then the same tediously drawn out sound failing to reach a climax
A disjointed and poor second half pulls the rating down
This was initially exciting, but ultimately it was 10 indistinguishable tracks
I'd heard of Yes, but hadn't listened to them. I'm not sure how that had happened but i'm glad it did. time saved
I know what I would leave behind
Just too long
Not to be confused with Deserted Songs
An uncreative covers band that you could find in many a music venue. Why are they on the list?

Boring
The greatest sense of relief when it ended
Musically sound, but lyrically awful. Potty potty potty
