There's nothing about this album that can redeem it from its cover art. The music may be influential in industrial circles, but child exploitation is neither edgy nor provocative, it's disgusting.

Stevie Wonder is a gift.
Mis-80's Bruce is not my jam. Darlington County was a nice surprise. I don't think I had ever listened to this album all the way through before.
Folk just isn't my thing, but this had some bright spots primarily due to the lyrics. Joan of Arc talking to the fire that burns her? Yes.
The King of Soul at perhaps the peak of his output. 10/10.
I was surprised I remembered as many tracks from this as I did, until I looked and realized there were six singles. Overall, better than I remembered, but a bit too jazzy for my tastes.

Interesting that this album with all of its extended plays was a hit. My, how our attention spans have changed.
Sounds like a movie soundtrack. Inoffensive and in the background.

Great early metal album from giants of the genre as they start to experiment. Knocking a point off because of FX.
A synth pop classic. Glad to revisit this one.
Don't ask me how I can adore Silversun Pickups and loathe this, yet here we are.
Enjoyed the music, but the lyrics didn’t age well. Deducting a star for misogynistic lyrics.
Like a poor imitation of Monty Python
The aural equivalent of hospital food
Fully expected to hate this, but it has its charm.
