Hmmm disappointed in this. I love Depeche Mode but never listened to this in full, only knowing a few of the songs, which I like a lot (Never Let Me Down Again, Strangelove, Behind the Wheel). Unfortunately the rest just falls flat for me, which is a shame as I really wanted to love this.

Not my vibe but fun enough I guess. I find a lot of this type of early 80s heavy metal to be tedious, but I didn't mind it too much. Break the Law was fun but my god .... United and Red, White & Blue is bad.

I'm not a metal girly. Like I said when reviewing Judas Priest, I find it to be very tedious and I get bored with it very easily. That being said I can appreciate this for what it is. It's definitely fun and there are moments that I'm like ok... I like this, but then the biddly guitars start and I just drift off a bit. I get why people love it but yeah not my thing.

Honestly I think the whole album though is a little dated and I much preferred just listening to the singles I already knew and enjoyed. Its also sounds very dated. You Oughta Know is such a banger though.
