Bop after bop
Classic Joni - some really good tracks, but a bit slow at times
This isn't something I'd typically listen to, but I actually enjoyed it a lot. Handful of songs I will listen to again
I respect the impact they've had but not for me
Pretty good - some good jams
Why is this included? I love indie pop, but this was boring
Funktastic
I've always described my music taste as folk punk, not knowing it was actually a thing. I've liked blister when I heard it, but never took time to check out the entire album. I really enjoyed this one and it's clear how it influenced the artists I've loved.
I've enjoyed a few covers of his songs, so I was excited to hear this one. I couldn't really under a stand him to appreciate the lyrics.
I've never knowingly listened to Taylor but this album showed me that I do know her music. It's not my thing, but I'd be lying if I said some of these haven't been stuck in my head all day.
Annoying
Love it
Good production and musicianship
Boppy
This was as bland as I remember it being...
Not available online
I'm not a fan of rap in general, but interesting. I enjoyed the various instrumentals but can't get past "my dick ain't freeeeeeeee."
I cannot stand his vocal style and every song sounds the same
Jeff Beck shreds
Ick yacht rock
Someone else called this soul patch rock and I can't unhear that
Shame the members are a bunch of scumbags, especially Kiedis.
I was not expecting to enjoy this but ita a great album
That was the longest two hours of my life
It's not bad. I enjoyed it, but not something I'd listen to again
Very easy listening
So repetitive and nothing noteworthy
I'm not listening to this trash. Kid rock is a hot pile of garbage
I hated it but also get it? Idk...
My dad listened to this a lot after divorcing my mom... takes me back.
I'll need to listen again later since this is something I would typically love, just didn't hit today
Not my thing. Groovy, some good storytelling, but the homophobic slurs and misogyny are a turn off.
Kanye sux real hard as a person but I can't deny the influence this album had. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy some of it. I also hated a lot of it, so 3
Ew
I've been putting off listening to this because it's so long. I had to come back to it a few times but it is impressive, just not for me.
I think I've had every boss album come up already in my first 50 albums. I do not like him, but my spotify thinks I'm his biggest fan now.
This album flows so beautifully between songs - I didn't realize it had started over. I will revisit
Wow - debut? I can see why it changed music from that point on and I'm forever grateful
Its fine and fun, just not my kinda fun
I guess I'm suckin Shady's dick because I did not like this
Points taken for being a scumbag but this was high energy and a fun listen
Rate instance I couldn't finish.. awful
I've never listened to a Beatles album beginning to end - always been a snob about them, but this was fun
I can't listen to this anywhere and based on the reviews that appears to be a blessing.
I really enjoyed the instrumental tracks on this one. The monkey noises and panting at the end was interesting...
I did enjoy the instrumentation a lot but I hate his whiney voice. I've always hated the song Epic and had no idea this was the band, so when it was track two I was quickly turned off. I liked a few tracks tho
Beautiful voice
Loved
I already had a headache going into this one and it didn't help. I had to bail at track 4. I get what they are doing though, definitely an art project.
Some interesting bits, but I caught myself checking several times how much longer until it's over.
Short, punchy, raw punk. Loved it
bop after bop after bop
I respect what the Beatles did for music but i don't like the Beatles.
Boring rom com walking in the rain album
This has all the things I like in music but just couldn't get into it
She saw my comb over her hourglass body She had problems with drinking milk and being school tardy She'll lend you her toothbrush, She'll bartend your party
I'm not down with the bizkit
Rips
Dramatic with sick riffs.
I used to like this album a lot, but now it reminds me of someone I really hate AND ryan adams is also a pos. It's still good I just can't enjoy it the same way
I thank it for it's service but I don't enjoy it
I kind of drifted out of this one, it was very calming. Need to revist when I'm more focused
I really don't like KOL .. it's just so boring and generic and their influence just lead to more boring and generic rock. BUT I do get why others love it and it's leagues better than the other KOL I had to hear recently
This is already one of my all time favorite albums. One of the founding fathers of my music taste
I would've been obsessed with this in my early 20s... I still really liked it, just not very accessible
It's fine and actually something I might enjoy but it was so forgettable. Nothing caught my attention, nothing stuck in my head, nothing seemed more influential over others in the genre. Idk.. it was fine.
Boring af
Not my thing at all but this album is nostalgic for me
I don't like electeonica at all but this was pretty fun
I have three talking heads albums generated right now, so figured I'd go in order as a new listener. After my first listen, I was going to settle on a 3, but I felt the nagging of a friend to try again and I'm glad I did. Eager to see what they did next
What in the actual fart did I just listen to?
So boring and ot something I'd consider influential... doesn't feel like it belongs on this list
I HATE THIS MANS VOICE I STG IF I GET ANOTHER ONE IM GONNA LOSE IT
So many hits in this record. I've never been an Adele fan per say, but I do have a lot of respect for her. Powerful voice and her emotions are FELT.
I get it... filthy, nasty, noisy, amazing. Might be one of the first albums that clearly influenced some of my favorites to come after
I can't be bothered to look up the entire album right now, but the one track avail on spotify is a bop
Look, Leonard is a great songwriter but the album is very slow. Some of my favorites of his are on this one and we're highlights in the never ending song that is this album
Another unnecessary and terrible 80s brit pop
Couldn't listen
This goes hard wtf
My ex had Norah jones as his side girl's ring tone and I just can't listen to her without getting mad again. It's not Norah's fault he's a scumbag, but it is his fault I can't listen to Norah Jones without getting angry.
rip Brian
I fuckin love REM
makes me wanna time travel to when I was 16 and watching Donnie darko on my ipod after sneaking out
Rip ozzy 🦇
I fell in love with the Smith's years ago after watching 500 days of summer, so how fitting it was my 500th album
My dad loves Tori Amos lol
Well, I didnt expect a rock opera
Morrissey is racist scum but I dammit I love the Smiths
Not available
Masterpiece
This one is hard to rate because I loved it pre-mr brightside blow up and now I can't stand that song. I also dont really care for this sound anymore but still influential
I didn't realize how influential this album was on kid me until this relisten 25 years later
Well, sorry mom, I hate this. Divorced dad has better music taste
Ugh more torture from lcd soundsystem.
I'm far from a swiftie, but my sisters love her and this was the album I never minded being played.
Fuck the haters. Karen is a queen
