Fine good but every song sounds the same
I’d give it about 4.6 (rounded up to 5). Beautiful music, Curtis has such a great catalog that’s why it doesn’t get a 5.
Probably their best one

Not as good as I remember
Really boring, can’t be his best surely?
Pretty good. 4.2
I was unsure at first, but I did enjoy it. Its been good to have in the background while working today. Does it really belong in the list though? I’m not sure. So many great albums in this era, this feels like it falls short, perhaps because it’s so long and almost bland. I will be scoring this low for this reason. But It was nice to listen to, not one I’ll go back to (at least often).
So unbelievably boring.
3.9. What a talent
It’s times like these I forget this is not a greatest albums list, rather just albums to hear before you die… we never sad they would all be good. This really puzzled me. surely this is just something people pretend they enjoy, just to seem ‘unique’ or ‘edgy’. Couldn’t finish it in all honestly.
Excellent
Not a huge fan of jay z but I like the vibe and production on this one.
Holds up exceptionally well in my opinion
One of the best records of all time
Very nice
Not amazing but get why it’s on the list
Noise is not really the genre for me. More melodic than I initially expected and I am no worse off from listening to this.
I enjoyed it
Didn’t like. Some nice songs but nothing particularly special
No desire to listen to this again. Very long and uninspired for especially for an early 90s record.
I liked it
Very fun listen.
I really enjoyed revolver and sgt pepper, this seems incredibly average however.
Hmmm not for me. I will give it a 2 because i think it did have some sort of point to it, I just haven’t understood it.
Excellent!
Not good, not terrible
I liked it but it’s not an essential album
Eh fine
It was ok

Didn’t really dig
Not my thing
I really like the cardigans and lovefool is an amazing track everyone should hear. The rest of the album is not what I’d call essential though.
Not for me
I wouldn’t choose to listen to it again. Was pretty good though ha
It sucked
Sigh
Very good, just not sure I’ll go back and listen to it again.
A bit on the fence with this. I wasn’t fussed by the first half of the record but love the second half. It’s somewhere between a 4 and a 5 for me. I’ll give it a 5 to make sure I come back and listen again in the future.
I’ve tried to listen to Tom Waits before and didn’t dig it, but this is brilliant. Can’t wait to listen to it again.
The term Rock-opera has always been cringe inducing for me. That said, I enjoyed most of this album bar the last couple of tracks. I will be scoring this highly as the title track brings me lots of nostalgia. I remember a mysterious music man coming to my primary school in the 90s with these huge spaceship like machines. He got us to record our version of the wall.really feels like a dream looking back!
