Even men with steel hearts give this a 3 star minimum
sounds like what me and my mates used to do in music in 6th form, piss about making noise on instruments. weirdly it's not truly awful and again the final fantasy factor gives it a minor improvement over the 1 it was destined for
Oh you pretty thing!
it's not bad, but i have a bit of a natural dislike for queen, imagine thinking this was cool during the time of punk
the voice is marmite but cant argue with the tunes
Its hard not to appreciate the showmanship of James Brown however this did absolutely nothing to cure my disdain for live albums, if it were to be subtitled 80% of the text would be 'inaudible chatter' occasionally interspersed with a cacophony of felines at the wailing wall during one of the slowest half hours of my life
Beautiful album from start to finish and the lead single songs are absolute diamonds. Love homeward bound.
Another album where the lead singles are very good and listenable, it flows well but some of the songs are a bit too ploddy and slow for me. almost fell asleep during backdrifts which ironically led into one of the best songs on the album... 'go to sleep' 'There There and 'A Punch up at a wedding' brings this back up to a 3 for me
in the mid 2000s america stopped producing good bands and gave us two bob phantom of the opera tribute acts. at best it sounds like a haunted hipster carnival/circus
Classic rock RIFFS with some grating vocals but some bangers. Camfield approved
Not worthy of comment
Quite nice
Another plinky plinky folk album, turns out these are quite nice to listen to. Was going to give it a steady 3 but the fact that one of the songs is basically final fantasy it's upped to a 4.
sounds like what me and my mates used to do in music in 6th form, piss about making noise on instruments. weirdly it's not truly awful and again the final fantasy factor gives it a minor improvement over the 1 it was destined for
You'd never think that a man named Tracey Marrow would ever be able to get away with referring himself as the original gangster and quite frankly he doesnt. Stick to solving new york sex crimes please Icey
What a nice voice and what a nice man, I bet his nan was proud of him and hopefully was already dead by the time of the toilet incident.
Nice mix of soothing vocals, classic rock and roll sound, pretty sounds and jingle jangle noise. i approve
Too many annoying songs, I do not like dirt.
This isn't the worst thing I've ever listened to, the basic drumbeat throughout is a bit of a giveaway I reckon, poor man's billy idol
Shite
You know that new sound you're looking for, listen to this
Had never heard of it, catchy tunes, female vocals, of which I am a sucker for. Pretty nice listen
Nice songs, good voice but would I sit there listening to it? Probably not
Remember in father Ted when they stop singing my lovely horse and father jack pulls out his shotgun and blasts the guitar to smithereens. That
not as bad as i thought it was going to be, although the opening track was the best and it got progressively worse
Everyone knows a mouthy fat bird who can sing a bit, this one is no different
More melodic than I remember but still a bit droney
Man sings some songs
Spanish Castle Magic a guitar hero GOAT track, some decent guitar wankers, but a little bit boring?
the only way a group of lads, who had spent hours/days slaving away in a studio, would be happy with this outcome would be if they were complete up themselves cunts
We can't be far off Sven and Ulrika forming a Swedish electronic duo at this point. The opening track sounds like what I heard in my head as I was popping a whitey on Old Jamaica Rd after Hollie Jenkins cousin laced a joint with fuck knows what. That being said, it's not my thing so I wanted to hate it, but I didnt
Don't get it
I thought it was ok actually, rob is wrong
What's not to love about a hateful old man prancing around singing about a Bengali on platform shoes
It's just not for me
Classic beatles, some wonderful songs interspersed with nonsense
i actually liked it a lot more than i thought i was going to
bit weird, almost like a jazz alvum or something. but it is the beastie boys
Pants
total arse
it's not bad, but i have a bit of a natural dislike for queen, imagine thinking this was cool during the time of punk
it wasn't as depressing as i thought it would be
So close to a masterpiece
The one upside to this is it inspired me to listen to some proper ska punk
enjoyed the songs, enjoyed the voice
Strange that I'd never listened to it before but I liked it
i like the guy, he's alright
Very bouyant sound, feels like I am in a wahaca restaurant ordering some pork pibil tacos. I can just imagine that this is what Sarah and John Connor would have been listening to on the beach in Guatemala, moments before they were gunned down by yet another T-800 Terminator as depicted in the opening scene of terminator dark fate. Of course, that's if you believe this is the true continuation of T2, which is what James Cameron wants, but personally i have no issues with Terminator 3 - Rise of the Machines and thought Nick Stahl made a pretty good John Connor and he didnt die did he, he hid in the mountain. But I Digress
talk abour the passion
the music is okay but the lyrics and whiney singing is representative of a man in a hard place. we've all been there, some of us crywank whilst binge watching peep show, others release this album
Soft spot for Dave's lads here, wasn't sure the whole album would be as good as the main singles but it's close
In the film Quadrophenia, Sting played 'Ace Face' who was the epitome of cool in the mod scene, however as Phil Daniels continues his downward spiral addicted to blueys he eventually comes crashing down finding out Ace Face is merely a bus boy at a hotel and is in fact a slave to the modern world earning pittance being bossed around. In a way, this is relative to Stings music as the more you listen to the Police, despite the appearance of the big hitters that he is in fact a genius, scratch beneath the surface and there is a lot of crap. still, 3/5 as i need to save face a bit having paid £75 to go watch them at twickenham 15 years ago
Old man hates shit electronic music
Nice, but boring
It's okay but has a novelty feeling all the way through
sounds like the ramones if they were able to control their bpm. thing is you dont want the ramones to do that
The king
Really really good. Proper old school
I love the Spanishy stuff but it did sound like someone was hitting a frying pan with a spoon for most of it
its alright but a bit boring
want to hate mccartney because he's such a cunt but it's a good album... JET. oooohooohhhhoooohooooohoooh
EZ listening
Ray Davies is a genius
Champagne communists but they know how to bang a track out
Enough said
its not too bad, so long and a bit dull but the music is okay
Good stuff
bit samey but its good
boring but it has the song from the scrubs finale
Listenable but don't like alex.turners boice
Bit rambling
good voice
opening track reminded me of X-Ray Spex, not all up to taht standard but fairly decent
girl can sang, shame about the toto wolff shilling in there
go away
Boring
Iconic. I'd be a cunt to down mark it for being over produced wouldn't i
More of a greatest hits kinda guy which is very good. This not so much
Wut
I SEE MY MARIANNE WALKING AWAYYYYYYY
Couldn't hack it
Very nice, presumably this is what french boys did with each other before they invented rocket league and soggy biscuit
meh
nice surprise
BORING
one of the GOATs
chill out love
it was okay actually
who doesn't like blueberry hill
Like it
SHUT UP YOU PRICK
very good album, brings back memories of being 19 and chatting with a MSP obsessive, but slightly disturbed young lady from the isle of wight on MSN who used to send me completely unsolicited pictures of her in her knickers, was all fun and games until she sent me a picture of ENOLA scrawled on one arm and ALONE on the other bare disguising the cut marks on her arms from self harm. five stars
enjoyed it
love every track from start to finish
Didn't hate it
teenage girls favourite but yeah its good
quite like it
it's very nice but i'm sure there are better nights out in Cologne than going to see this
really liked it
much better than the advert song with the fat kid
6 stars
bit rubbish
top gal with a top voice
Great fun and it's either this or more limp.bizlit
it was the same noie from start to finish but it was decent noise
nice music
nah
RUN TOOOO THE HILLLLLLLS
ok
great fun jingle jangle stuff
good but not the best ramones album
it's good but i struggle to get excited for it. good background music
Massive self indulgent wank with 2 very good songs in it
Bit noisy
Great stuff
No proper bangers but very solid
bit weird but enjoyable
it's pretty, it's haunting, but it's a bit boring
bit noisy but its alright
Good stuff from a strange man
Cool as fuck
Hope they call me back for a second date
Loved it
Isn't this the fella from the wedding karaoke
Liked it a lot better than the last inr
Leave off mate
I started it, listened to it and then it was over and I'm not sure I remember it other than it wasn't awful
Good voice
Good stuff, feels like I'm at a carnival
Fantastic
Hip hop hooray
Love her tits but the music is a bit generic
Dirty, loud and uncouth. If it were a tinder bio rob would use a super like
what a dullard
Wanted dead or alive is a box office song
generic hippity hop
annoyingly quite good
Semi enjoyable noise
Reasonable mellow rock that peaks at the opening track
mad cunt
what the fuck was this
shit
love this latino heat
shut up you prick
beautiful
Even men with steel hearts give this a 3 star minimum
fun pop nonsense
Pretty boring but the weight is a good song
Thank fuck someone ended it before I had to step in
would rather fist myself with a glove made of barbed wire than listen to this again
It's ok but how does this qualify for a list like this
Decent
Really good!
Weird
Like rob says, far better than expected. Would listen again if I were in the right mood but not sure I can commit to a mood lasting an hour 20
it's nice but boy is it boring
FUNKY!
Oh you pretty thing!
Obvious 5* You are the everything and turn you inside out my favourite tracks
Genuinely really beautiful
Banging
Bog standard
pretty good. Sounds like the latter white stripes stuff
queen are pants
one or two forgettable songs but some really good ones. personal fav: i'm looking through you
just love it. i'll stick around, Alone + Easy Target, exhausted are all just top tier songs
ignore the opening horrible synth bass notes. it's decent
weirdly enjoyable
Really really banging
Bit boring from a band with far better songs than these
it's fantastic
shite
not my thing but who doesnt like waterfalls
like a bunch of old drunks in an irish pub
not for me, shame about the scientology
nice and listenable
i want to giv it more but there is too much guff on this album. 4 or 5 very good ones though
boooooooooooooooooooooooooooring
Right up there near the top of the list of musical nonces, great stuff
decent but not my favourite bowie
Was nice enough
great guitar wankery but not a fan of this cheesey 'rock of ages' era
Resisted this for months before finally submitting after the release of Love is only a feeling. some really genuine great songs on the album with a bit of cheese. good vocals, good guitars. and has a song on it shouting YOU CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNT. what's not to like
good stuff
funky
feel like this is what the style council tried to be
wow i fell asleep
nice
yeah i liked it but dont think i would ever deliberately listen to it over somethnig else
its a live album by van morrison
pretty sure mrs bessisera made us sing these in primary school
so good. first 8 tracks are sublime
Surprisingly enjoyable
Loved it
Riffs, rhythm and rasping vocals
Didn't like this at the time and didn't like it just now
no
Fun
there were some decent songs on it but wont ever be sold by AM
fuck off
lovely lads and lovely songs
i just dont get it
live from the french haunted goth circus
namby pamby woke nonsense. knew someone who loved these so much he followed them around on tour which is bizarre for such a non entity of a band who have managed a couple of catchy hooks
how lovely
delightfully fun. i love the intro to jackie wilson says
enjoyable. who is gene clark though?
weird little fella is a genius
its decent but dont quite get how they are so big
was alone with the cat listening to this and it made me want to fuck the cat
doesnt excite me
fun
was alrite
would
Isn't he lovely
Weird
Lovely female vocals and a bizarre cover of iron man
nothing really happened
nice voice but dull as fuck
Enjoyable
very droning vocals and music
Really good
just dont get it
solid effort from the weird little fella
Really enjoyable!
better than the last dylan one, very good
Remember when they did actual good songs
Absolute 5* album
i dont hate it, but i dont get it
bit too much going on, very noisy
now do classical gas
some nice guitars. bit boring
absolutely diabolical
the guys love white castle more than harold and kumar
Perfection
Trying too hard to be the Beatles
proper shit
enjoyable
Quite a good band
Cemetery gates is one of my favourite songs but there are a couple on here that are a bit too eccentric
didn't get it
flows great from start to finish, just not my thing
i think i'm supposed to really like it but its quite dull. history is obviously very good mind you
goodness gracious, great load of shite
not a band i often enjoy hearing on the radio and such but listening to this album alone it's pretty good. song for my sugar spin sister is very good as is this is the one
bizarre wankery but not too bad
what if i told you there was a live album that wasnt shite
It seems quite unremarkable but I did really enjoy listening to it
Very good
hate them
Nothing too exciting but seemed decent to me
Bit weird this one
Oh, God, we're doing the fucking song. When's it gonna finish? Fucking hell.
very easy listening, enjoyable from start to finish
Not bad for a live album
I like country
So close to a 5. Every year I used to send unhappy birthday on Facebook to my friend Jon who hated the smiths. What a wrong un
meh
decent
every time i listen to this guy i like him more
Nu metal was a bit of an unwanted guest back in my peak music TV watching era in the early 2000s and at the time I had no time for linkin park either especially with the weird MC shit and all the remixes however having a chance to look back objectively without a teenage strop on I can say this album was very good and there's a reason why these were so popular rather than say papa roach or something truly awful
shite, like a poor mans spinal tap
the first 2 tracks were a bit of me and then it just turned into awful whiny crap
Some good songs, some silly ones that's the white stripes but musically always very fun
As soon as I heard the opening farty synth bass note I knew we were destined for good things
whiny american vocals and painful recurring loops. not for me
Standard 60s stuff with a weird beach boys car song at the end
had the krusty reaction ready for this one but actually listened to the whole thing and it wasnt awful
dont get it but its not awful
the album where must finally stopped hiding that they were actively taking the piss out of people buying their records
what a boring cunt
sounds like a nice fella
had never heard of them, really enjoyed it
irie man
i didnt hate coldplay i just never got ecited for them and therefore never listened to an album all the way through, this is actually decent and i really like Shiver
Not for me
bit generic
standard 60s stuff
one of the best albums of all time.
I hope you like jamming too
good album with some classic bangers!
Rock of ages shite
annoyingly catchy
Fun with some good hits
Don't remember listening to the album before but very good. Darts of pleasure a great debut single
bit weird for me
poop fiasco more like
It has the tunes, the voice, the synth but like before I refuse to give any musical nonces more than 3* with the exception of Townshend... And possibly glitter
yeah ok,
thought it would be shit as the list compiler clearly has a hardon for beck, but actually its a really nice album
not my thing
pleasant!
can never complain about a bit of stevie w
Why u live album
too long
it's a good album. All Apologies is a brilliant tune
decent noise
Probably a bit too long but the good tracks are belters
i dont want to like it but its good
enjoyable
shite
was ok
the voice is marmite but cant argue with the tunes
good fun
nice tunes actually
Mexicola is one of my favourite songs. Other strong tracks on here but as always with QOTSA a fair bit of guff
nice and listenable start to finish
not great
who doesn't like the massive fanny?
Albums like a hit parade of these good but forgettable rocky songs
listenable
can't underestimate the impact of when this came out. there was absolutely nothing else that sounded like it and it was brilliant
riffs are decent but otherwise awful
its alright
i do love an album that flows and the first 4 tracks here are great. want to 5* it but despite it being a good solid album it misses some wow factor
Hated it
overrated
you have to say its fairly iconic. the opening song is very good and some of the riffs are great if the vocals are slightly grating
John Boretrain more like
Fun and jaunty
H-ELP more like. “Welcome back my friends, to the show that never ends. It goes on for at least two hours because we’ve got a brand new Moog.”
It's the eagles, you know what you're gonna get
Very slow and noisy
I don't know when I'm ever going to be in the mood to listen to this properly. Breathe is great though
The weird fella singing about tambourines with a goodun
noise
boring
Knew and liked one or two of their songs already which were on this album, rest.of the album follows that so I'd say 'enjoyable'
fun nonsense
do have a soft spot for this kind of music
The songs I liked when I was 8 are now insufferable, luckily there are one or two very good songs to save it
Fine 80s pop with one or two really good songs. I'm feeling generous
cute!
sounds like ACDC to me
weird little bald fella makes decent sounding noise
It was nice but can't help thinking poor man's Sheryl crow
very nice
nope
wanted to give it a 5 but one or two duff tracks
like last time, i want to not like the insufferable cunts but the music is good
John Whine more like. but seriously i don't mind shit like this
quirky stuff
great stuff. EZ listening. good vibes only
i like the who but its a bit weird unless you've seen the musical i guess. still. pinball wizard
Would have been five without that nonce being on it, what a cunt McCartney is
whole lotta noise... but some of it rocks
smiling politely waiting for a bad song and it never came
she's brilliant. River is of course an all time great song
The voice just makes it unlistenable
all filler around our house which is obviously very good
not as bad as i thought it would be
Feel like sunny would love this even though it's basically boring
An hour of fun and frolics
yeah it was alright. decent unique voice
great voice with a big band. lovely
shit
another girl another planet innit
Boring
Nope
there can't be too many 4* albums where the main content is about beating or murdering your wife
nice enough but i just dont get it
It was nice but it's not for me
Never heard of it, will never listen to it again but quite good
I guess you had to be there
this would go well with that skunk from listening to cream the other day
quite good
Menu music for an unlicensed sports game franchise
The only Ingredient missing to make this 4* or higher is a quarter ounce of skunk. Pretty good guitar wankery just slightly odd
The beards are more impressibe than the songs
the only 5* live album? quite possibly
The man just does not get me going
Probably swayed by the playstation loading noise intro but I didn't hate it
Bit dull
Gigantic, big big love
Are we going to get a decent jazz album at any point
not for me
a straight up 2, until don't tell me brings it up to a 3. only for the disgusting version of american pie to bring it crashing back down
got to say it's top stuff from the high pitched lads
the answer to the age old question 'who got da funk?'
some proper bangers on here
not again
bloody punk rockers!!
Pretty good. Was always out off because of wonderwall but he seems like a decent lad
weird but the actual title song is good
genuinely good songs alongside the two you've heard of. there's an instrumental in there that i can place from somewhere but havent been bothered to figure out where
dogshit yanks
cringe but some bangers
like the fella
go away
I was happy when these fellas released 3 albums a year exclusively about surfing, cars and girls, yet I'd still like to thank Brian Wilson's dealer for contributing to this work of genius
dogshit
I just don't understand why someone would do this
I can't handle live albums, sorry bob
annoyingly some good songs here so a begrudging 4
hard to knock an album with suspicious minds on it
Forget how many decent tunes there are here even if the album is top heavy
Fairly average
Strange noise from a strange man but listenable all the same
would have loved this if i were 14
not for me
not even in my favourites from the Boss but it's so so good. love the piano jingling along in tenth avenue freeze out. plus the storytelling in Thunder Road and Jungleland
yeah it's fine. not my era
It's largely what I'd expect
ok this one slightly resembles music
not for me
bizarre nonsense
Enthralling
ambiguous what he wants legalised but he seems like a nice chap with soulful tunes
not too bad, some good actual songs
it was reasonably listenable
A hard listen
genuinely very good
fun but not my thing
Fine
Jingle jangle
nice sounds, not my thing
go away
her voice is a bit grating but they are very good songs
boring
quite pleasant actually
dull as dishwater
EZ listening
Hate her voice, hate her personality, there are better singers in my extended family
love mouldy old dough
Can't help but want the little guy to do well
pretty dull
really pleasant
Arbitrary
really good album, 5*
BORING
Woke wank yank bollocks
As expected
shite
some good memories of download festival listening to this CD in the car on the way to get more beer from Castle Donington Morrisons to immedately get stopped by police to breath check Frank who magically registered a 0 reading
go away
1977 was a good year for music, but this was not part of it
Dog shit
Exactly what I expected
Typical odd 60s fare
a little bit poundshop kate bush but i really enjoyed it
i liked it, great chuck berry cover to open
some great tracks
didnt know what to expect, was decent
he's a good lad isnt he
i liked that song about the boy upstairs but this was shite
Weirdly enjoyable
A bit like bread or Chicago mixed with the eagles. Plus a nice bonus of the that 70s show theme
songs about surfing, girls, and surfing girls. whats not to like
wasn't as bad as the other one
wouldnt really listen to it these days but the mans a genius
Loved this when it was released. Something different just rednecks singing redneck songs. Sure they because tripe soon after but there's not a bad song on this album
lovely stuff
the first two songs made me feel a bit meh as you hear them so many times. but then Holier than thou and the unforgiven kick in and you remember how good they can be
load of shite
Candle in the wind is actually excellent but was ruined at the time by the Diana version. Really good album, shame about the Jamaica jerk off
it just sort of plods along but i dont hate it
yeah decent standard 60 sstuff
bit weird, listenable though
not my thing really
i like SOAD but i dont want to give this more than a 3 because there are better albums out there. Spiders is such a very good song though
Dog shit
all the songs sound liek cars, but cars is a great song so...
mad little fella with good tunes
decent but ok mate
oh no
Too much on my mind is up there for me
I don't mind country but I don't know what tis is
starts off annoying but gets a lot better
just thought it was a bit dull
very route one lyrically buy the big man, but first of the gang to die is top tier stuff
decent. like a ramones lite
much nicer sound than the other sonic youth stuff. decent
absoloutely lovely stuff
nope
it's nice but not particularly rocky as i expected
Proper rock and roll legendary stuff. Love nearly every song on it
really loved it
not sure why i hadn't really given them a chance but they are pretty good
lovely guitar wankery
shes good aint she
Better than I thought, proper xfm band
nice but a bit whats the point
she's a nutter
Alrite
liked it
Not a big blur fan but it's listenable
enjoyable random noises
like it
Nope
They really did live off of one song didn't they, and it wasn't sex dwarf
It was as expected
Very good
live album shite again
pleasant but dull
some proper bangers on here but i do have a soft spot for the lovely ladies (and lads)
Nice
good lads
better than i expected
Ok
a mad eclectic mix of ballads, covers and epic arrangements, never thought i'd 5 star this but there you go
Yeah fine
Noise
boring bastard
shit
Decent
Shite
some wonderful songs but just way too long
actually pretty good
always thought my perfect cousin is a weird song
auto 1 star for the live album
sounds a bit like ash. i like ash
an unfortunately grating voice even if maps is a top song
never really got into kiss but i do like detroit rock city
awful band
soulful. liked it
Meh
funky... but dull
almost pop perfection, just a bit too long
yes!
not too bad
Don't remember anything about it but it was a good listen
good voice but pedestrian
Yep
nice enough. way too long
better than i thought it was going to be given the trash headling song sex on fire
Quite good. Like James or something like that
banger after banger, shame they stole the riff from gettin jiggy with it
yeah alriught
some music happened and it sounded ok
meh nothing happened
shut up ya boring bastard
one of the worst things ive ever heard
bit too dull for me
great
you lost me at 'art rock'
