Very good. Definitely influenced modern sounds you hear in todays music of similar genre. 9/10
This album is incredibly good. It’s easy to digest for the masses, but for the more trained ear there is some really great songwriting that I think goes unnoticed in Adele’s career. Her voice is quite powerful and the piano composition really compliments her voice. All of the tracks sound similar but that isn’t necessarily bad, in this project she clearly had a certain kind of music in mind and for the most part perfected that sound.
This album is incredible. Songs like Burn Hollywood burn and fight the power do a very good job at expressing a sense of rebellion. Heavy lyricism with complex emotions and deep cultural themes really shine throughout this project. Def jam is legendary in terms of talent that has touched that studio.
Not much to say on this one, the Beatles are legendary and pop icons. This album defined a generation of music.
An incredibly fun, well written, project with snoops signature smooth and melodic voice; Doggystyle is a classic hip-hop album. Complimented with flawless features and smooth, rhythmic beats this album perfectly encapsulates the essence of being a west side gangster in 1993 L.A.
The signature west side whistle synth, the smooth bass lines, panning vocals, comedic sketches, beat switches, all complimented by southern church organ and piano composition; the production on this album was and is to this day absolutely legendary.
Muse is iconic. Black holes is a great album. 8/10
Very good. Bob Dylan is legendary
This album reminds me of sitting in the back of my dads dodge ram in 2008 begging for McDonald’s on the way home.
Absolutely legend. 90s in the best way possible.
Bad. Way too British and shitty writing
Really fun to listen to. Nice blend of genres
Good music, great writing, a little slower
Very good. Very interesting vocals but good and compliments the groovy music
A perfect rock album and a great introduction into mainstream 90s grunge.
Really good album. Amazing mixing, stellar guitar performance and great lyrics and vocals
Not my favorite but pretty good
This album is REALLY good, I enjoyed just about every song. My only complaint is they can drag on for a bit too long
Very good. I understand why Elvis was so popular
It doesn’t get much better than this. Some repetitive moments but besides that the writing and musicality is top tier. Nirvana is legendary for a reason
This album is virtually perfect. Won album of the year over so many incredible records. This is truly art and arguably one of the best pieces of music ever made.
Goated 1950s mobster type beat
Generational album, words are more true and powerful 30 yrs later. Ahead of its time
Mid but I understand why boomers cream over him. Still mid
This is a flawless album. Everything about it from drums, vocals, rhythm, lead guitar and more are executed perfectly and beautifully. Perfect
Good but the vocals get tiring after a full listen
Good music, good message, awesome cover art but for some reason I cannot stand the vocalist, very agitating after a full listen
Good music with weird vibes kinda good kinda bad
Some songs can get repetitive but otherwise this is a masterpiece
Fantastic give me 14 more
Virtually flawless album. Love DS
Good, but something bout his cadence and voice just doesn’t work with me
One of the best albums of all time
OH YEAH!!! J Cash is the man and prison blues is top 5 country/blues album of all time. Such a legendary and ground breaking album 5/5
Personal fav Beatles album
Surprisingly good album holy smokes
Fantastic album. Aged really well and the mixing is great. Some of the sounds and synths you hear sound so crispy and smooth. Phenomenal
Love LL, but this shit kinda aged like milk
Fantastic album. Very cyberpunk vibes 4.5/5
Pretty good, kinda repetitive but I also had no idea what he was saying. Good stuff
Unbelievable album. A debut album at that. I hate to be that guy but if you are doing this album generator I’m assuming you are doing this for the love of the art of music. This is art. If you do not appreciate this for what it is I believe you may have some internalized bias such as racism or misogyny. I see way to many negative reviews on this masterpiece and everyone single one of them seem to stem from one of those two reasons. Again, this. Is. Pure. Art. Lauryn Hill inspired an entire generation of rap artists. We would not have gotten the Kanye we got if it wasn’t for Lauryn and this album specifically. This is truly a masterpiece, from production to musicality to composition to wordplay. Truly a spectacle of the rap genre. 5/5 and possibly my favorite album of the generator yet.
Fine, some interesting moments. Not a very strong lead singer imo
Fine. Not really my style of rock
Very based band and for that alone it was good. Music was solid
Legendary. But has aged pretty bad. However this was a genre and social defining moment and deserves a 5 star off that alone
Kinda repetitive and not my style of music but her voice is one of a kind
Absolutely phenomenal voice and amazing jazz/rnb music to complement the vocals. This is like 90s Daniel Caesar
Yeah HERE COMES THE ROOOSTER
Horrible person horrible music horrible singing
Riders on the storm carries this album, but overall really good I don’t like the doors that much, but this album changed my mind a bit
This album is really bad, but not because it’s actually bad. I find myself getting extremely irritated with every song. The musicality is outstanding and groovy. The guitar always kills it, drums hit heavy and sound really tight. Bassline has some hint of Korn distortion and pluck that grounds the music out and gives it a very punchy, grungy vibe that I very much enjoy
But every. Single. Time. The vocals come in it completely throws me off. Her voice isn’t necessarily bad it’s just mixed and processed horribly. Like abysmally. If the post production and processing was fixed it would take this album from a 3 to a 4. I enjoy the lyrics and grunginess quite a bit.
Bland writing but the musicality and production is very good.
Tony hawk pro skater, hot topic, zumiez 2005, hell yeah
Really good love the composition
True One carries. This is a fantastic album full of genre blending and fantastic musicality. As close to a 5 a 4 can be.
Not my vibe but damn good production and vocals. Phenomenal
Very very good and unique
Very unique and super dynamic. Def saving this one for another listen
Little slow, but the end picks up and is very very good. Very good
The marimba on “I can’t forget” makes this album at least a 4 alone
Surprisingly really good. Solid vocals and the upbeat tracks really carry the album. Very 80s for a 90s album
Fine, very 2010s electronic
Every song starts off like it’s gonna be so good and then the vocals come in with some of the weirdest writing ive heard in a minute with very weird timing and cadence. I really try to like this one.
British rock is either some of the best music there is or this. And this is a really hard listen
Timbalands production alone makes this at least a 3. Can def tell this is a freshman album as her bars are pretty weak but that being said this is a great debut album. Strong 3
Absolute campfire smoking a j drinking beer on a late summer night vibe so hell yeah
Great vocals, calming music
I genuinely enjoyed this so much. The second half is not as good as the first few songs. Overall fantastic production. Strong strong 3
Really good genre defining album that propelled funk to the next level
Some people really like foo fighters. I am not one of them. Knockoff Christian sounding nirvana
Significant hell yeah album
Just could not get into it, production is fantastic but it’s just too weird and feels like it’s trying too hard to be weird
AC/DC as a fantastic band if you’re drunk as hell on a boat on a hot summer day, otherwise they’re kind of hard to listen to
Fine. Decent writing weird vibes tho
Just absolutely horrible I’m sorry I know he’s a legend but I have no clue why his voice and cadence is enraging.
I normally don’t like East Coast, but this is really good solid production
Definitely not the best album, but still the cure really like the beats and the guitar
I mean, what do I even need to say this is one of the best albums ever made, and for good reason
Good vocalist but pretty shitty most of this album are covers. Particularly from black artists, in the 60s you can assume that was done intentionally for not so cool reasons. Lame. Dumb album. Outdated.
She has much better albums that should be on this list.
Phenomenal vocals, perfect length. Very very good.
I’m sorry but how is this an album I should listen to before I die? Like? It’s not bad but it’s certainly not good. At all. Boomers will bitch about “mumble rap” but then listen to this
Great writing, fantastic production, solid vocals. Very very good
If I was alive in the 90s this would be one of my fav albums. This is angst, softness and soul all in a very well produced package. Very good.
Very rarely do I save songs from these albums but this one has multiple. Fantastic.
I like this. Some weak bars in some songs, but overall writing is good and production is interesting and diverse. This is good
I really like this album, one of my favorites we’ve had in a while. I think the only thing holding me back from giving it a 5 is common is just kinda boring to listen to. It’s like Kanye is he wasn’t charismatic and it’s kind of jarring to listen to after a while. If this was a Kanye album it would probably be remembered as one of his best. But it’s not, it’s common and it he sounds like every other common rapper out there imo. Still a really strong 4
This is what country should still be. What the hell happened to this genre? A bit samey sometimes but still fantastic writing and reminds me of the way Cash tells stories. Her voice is also awesome because she’s well.. you know DOLLY PARTON
Fat boy slim is fucking in heaven.
