Popular Reviews

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette

Absolutely legend. 90s in the best way possible.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder

This album is virtually perfect. Won album of the year over so many incredible records. This is truly art and arguably one of the best pieces of music ever made.

Unbelievable album. A debut album at that. I hate to be that guy but if you are doing this album generator I’m assuming you are doing this for the love of the art of music. This is art. If you do not appreciate this for what it is I believe you may have some internalized bias such as racism or misogyny. I see way to many negative reviews on this masterpiece and everyone single one of them seem to stem from one of those two reasons. Again, this. Is. Pure. Art. Lauryn Hill inspired an entire generation of rap artists. We would not have gotten the Kanye we got if it wasn’t for Lauryn and this album specifically. This is truly a masterpiece, from production to musicality to composition to wordplay. Truly a spectacle of the rap genre. 5/5 and possibly my favorite album of the generator yet.

Abraxas by Santana

This is a flawless album. Everything about it from drums, vocals, rhythm, lead guitar and more are executed perfectly and beautifully. Perfect

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs

This album is REALLY good, I enjoyed just about every song. My only complaint is they can drag on for a bit too long

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith
Oct 23 2023

Very good. Definitely influenced modern sounds you hear in todays music of similar genre. 9/10

21 by Adele
Oct 24 2023

This album is incredibly good. It’s easy to digest for the masses, but for the more trained ear there is some really great songwriting that I think goes unnoticed in Adele’s career. Her voice is quite powerful and the piano composition really compliments her voice. All of the tracks sound similar but that isn’t necessarily bad, in this project she clearly had a certain kind of music in mind and for the most part perfected that sound.

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Oct 25 2023

This album is incredible. Songs like Burn Hollywood burn and fight the power do a very good job at expressing a sense of rebellion. Heavy lyricism with complex emotions and deep cultural themes really shine throughout this project. Def jam is legendary in terms of talent that has touched that studio.

Revolver by Beatles
Oct 26 2023

Not much to say on this one, the Beatles are legendary and pop icons. This album defined a generation of music.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Oct 27 2023

An incredibly fun, well written, project with snoops signature smooth and melodic voice; Doggystyle is a classic hip-hop album. Complimented with flawless features and smooth, rhythmic beats this album perfectly encapsulates the essence of being a west side gangster in 1993 L.A. The signature west side whistle synth, the smooth bass lines, panning vocals, comedic sketches, beat switches, all complimented by southern church organ and piano composition; the production on this album was and is to this day absolutely legendary.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Oct 31 2023

outrageously mid. Mr brightside and somebody told me are good but so overplayed it ruins the experience. Plus the lead vocalist is whiny and tiring to listen to after 20 minutes. Mid mid mid mid

Apr 07 2025

Riders on the storm carries this album, but overall really good I don’t like the doors that much, but this album changed my mind a bit

Rid Of Me by PJ Harvey
Apr 09 2025

This album is really bad, but not because it’s actually bad. I find myself getting extremely irritated with every song. The musicality is outstanding and groovy. The guitar always kills it, drums hit heavy and sound really tight. Bassline has some hint of Korn distortion and pluck that grounds the music out and gives it a very punchy, grungy vibe that I very much enjoy But every. Single. Time. The vocals come in it completely throws me off. Her voice isn’t necessarily bad it’s just mixed and processed horribly. Like abysmally. If the post production and processing was fixed it would take this album from a 3 to a 4. I enjoy the lyrics and grunginess quite a bit.

British rock is either some of the best music there is or this. And this is a really hard listen

Supa Dupa Fly by Missy Elliott

Timbalands production alone makes this at least a 3. Can def tell this is a freshman album as her bars are pretty weak but that being said this is a great debut album. Strong 3

AC/DC as a fantastic band if you’re drunk as hell on a boat on a hot summer day, otherwise they’re kind of hard to listen to

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Oct 02 2025

Just absolutely horrible I’m sorry I know he’s a legend but I have no clue why his voice and cadence is enraging.

Oct 09 2025
Liquid Swords by GZA
Oct 10 2025

I normally don’t like East Coast, but this is really good solid production

Pornography by The Cure
Oct 13 2025

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Oct 14 2025

I mean, what do I even need to say this is one of the best albums ever made, and for good reason

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Oct 15 2025

Good vocalist but pretty shitty most of this album are covers. Particularly from black artists, in the 60s you can assume that was done intentionally for not so cool reasons. Lame. Dumb album. Outdated.

Great writing, fantastic production, solid vocals. Very very good

First Band On The Moon by The Cardigans
Nov 04 2025

If I was alive in the 90s this would be one of my fav albums. This is angst, softness and soul all in a very well produced package. Very good.

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
Nov 07 2025

Very rarely do I save songs from these albums but this one has multiple. Fantastic.

Nov 11 2025

I like this. Some weak bars in some songs, but overall writing is good and production is interesting and diverse. This is good

Be by Common
Nov 12 2025

I really like this album, one of my favorites we’ve had in a while. I think the only thing holding me back from giving it a 5 is common is just kinda boring to listen to. It’s like Kanye is he wasn’t charismatic and it’s kind of jarring to listen to after a while. If this was a Kanye album it would probably be remembered as one of his best. But it’s not, it’s common and it he sounds like every other common rapper out there imo. Still a really strong 4

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Nov 13 2025

This is what country should still be. What the hell happened to this genre? A bit samey sometimes but still fantastic writing and reminds me of the way Cash tells stories. Her voice is also awesome because she’s well.. you know DOLLY PARTON

Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada
Dec 23 2025

Absolutely phenomenal production mixing texturing and Larry. This is an incredible listen.

Damaged by Black Flag
Dec 24 2025

Pretty good production vocals are pretty clear for a punk album not very good though

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Dec 26 2025

It’s a shame what the industry did to her, her vocals are unlike any other human personally not my favorite type of music, but I have to give it a five to its legendary status

Horses by Patti Smith
Jan 01 2026

She is not a good rock singer. Her pop album is much better.

Microshift by Hookworms
Jan 02 2026

Extremely experimental and some really insane sounds I like it a lot

Soul Mining by The The

The Dreaming by Kate Bush
Jan 07 2026

Goofy ahh album but creative nonetheless

Slipknot by Slipknot
Jan 08 2026

Slipknot is a legendary metal band and for good reason there are some really good moments in this album, but this is also an incredibly long album, it’s very tiresome to listen to. Musically this hits though.

Hot Shots II by The Beta Band
Jan 16 2026

Listening to this stuck in traffic makes me feel odd. Like it

Smokers Delight by Nightmares On Wax
Jan 20 2026

Yeah this one’s going in the saves ✌️

Make Yourself by Incubus
Jan 26 2026

Honestly, I remember this album being a lot better as a kid. A lot of songs don’t seem fully fleshed out but then you listen to something like drive, which just sounds totally different than the rest of the album and it’s just an incredible song.

Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Jan 27 2026

Horrible mixing vocals are scary. Stop growling in my ear. Weirdly some songs are somewhat nice without vocals, while others are genuinely bothersome

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Jan 28 2026

Has some good sounds and pretty good vocals it’s also very unique that it’s in two languages. But overall I’ll never listen or like this

The Coral by The Coral
Jan 29 2026

I actually found this quite interesting to listen to. I’ve definitely heard worse on this generator.

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Feb 05 2026

I truly think this is the pinnacle of Kendrick’s career from storytelling to writing to production to flow to lyricism. It is perfect. I would also argue. This is the best album so far on the generator and one of the best rap albums of all time.

Sail Away by Randy Newman
Feb 06 2026

I know he’s a legend, considering the Toy story soundtracks, but this album is such a fucking snooze fest

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Feb 09 2026

Starwars ass dune ass halo ass type beat

Group Sex by Circle Jerks
Feb 10 2026

I wanted to like this album, but the production quality is very hard to listen to. One of those albums where I’m not quite sure why it made this list.

The Yes Album by Yes
Feb 11 2026

Did not expect to like this as much as I did but very technically good

Sex Packets by Digital Underground
Feb 12 2026

Some songs are painfully long and drawn out. It’s rage inducing almost every bar is pretty weak, but the storytelling isn’t too bad. I did not enjoy this album very much but I understand it’s influence.

Vespertine by Björk
Feb 13 2026

This is really really interesting. Every song is incredibly unique and is a genuinely good experience to listen to however I wouldn’t replay this often, but I would consider myself a fan of this type of sounding music.

Seventh Tree by Goldfrapp
Feb 17 2026

Not bad but just not for me

Underwater Moonlight by The Soft Boys
Feb 18 2026

I really tried to like it. I really did, but it is so unbelievably long. There is no need for it.

I wanna know what they were feeding these British guys in the 60s this is a fantastic if not, one of the better psychedelic rock albums

The Sun Rises In The East by Jeru The Damaja
Feb 24 2026

Some top tier beat production and great flow. I feel like jay z too inspo from his flow. However, a little problematic in some of the misogyny.

Picture Book by Simply Red
Feb 25 2026

I don’t understand all the hate. I thoroughly enjoyed this album.

Bubble And Scrape by Sebadoh
Mar 02 2026

In the very short times where he actually sings and doesn’t just moan and gran and complain it’s actually not too bad, but the lead vocals completely derail all musicality that this project could have

Vivid by Living Colour
Mar 03 2026

Cult of personality absolutely carries this album, but that being said it’s still fantastic. I see little to no flaws in the writing or musicality. This is one of the best albums on the generator yet.

Mar 04 2026

Definitely one of the more different albums I’ve heard not bad at all, but definitely not for me but I see how someone could like this

Technique by New Order
Mar 05 2026

Good solid 80s

Maxinquaye by Tricky
Mar 06 2026

Very different, but that doesn’t necessarily mean good. not for me

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Mar 09 2026

Long drawn out and a lot of screaming. I’ve heard worse punk albums, but this one is not good. There are a couple of shining moments with those are so far and in between the very long run time I was very bored listening to such a loud album.

Dub Housing by Pere Ubu
Mar 10 2026

This is a really hard one to rate. It definitely is its own thing and genre. There are surprisingly some good moments in here while also being very difficult to listen to. This is the most conflicting album yet, I don’t hate it, but I also really don’t like it.

Modern Kosmology by Jane Weaver
Mar 12 2026

Very melancholy again, another album on this list that I’m not sure why I need to listen to before I die but definitely music

Blackstar by David Bowie
Mar 13 2026

There’s definitely some good atmospheric moments in this album, but this album is not good I’m sorry. No disrespect, but this is way over inflated because of his death.

Emperor Tomato Ketchup by Stereolab
Mar 16 2026

Actually, quite phenomenal production. Some tracks sound really really good all around. There’s not a lot to hate here other than the fact that it’s just not for me and the vocals are a little meh

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
Mar 17 2026

Why was this recorded under water? I think I’d like it more if it actually sounded like produced music. Not bad tho

Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson
Mar 18 2026

I feel like Korn had to be influenced by this. Not bad but pretty dated.

D by White Denim
Mar 19 2026

HARD

A Walk Across The Rooftops by The Blue Nile
Mar 25 2026

Yeah, this is some pretty amazing production. I’ll always be a sucker for synth wave 80s and this hits that will also still being very solid rock. Some songs are a bit lengthy, but the production makes up for it. This is a very very very good album.

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
Mar 27 2026

What a boring pretentious album Jesus this is horrible

Walking Wounded by Everything But The Girl
Mar 31 2026

Music nice. Vocal no.

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Apr 01 2026

Very good. Interstellar vibes

Parklife by Blur
Apr 06 2026

Really really good

Vulnicura by Björk
Apr 07 2026

I just can’t see the appeal. The production is quite fantastic but everything else just doesn’t hit. Definitely not as good as her earlier stuff.

Eagles by Eagles
Apr 08 2026

I really wanted this album to be good. It has every ingredient to be. the harmonies are on point. That’s about it. This sounds AI generated LMAO the lyrics are so surface level. The music is so boring and slow, never deviates in tempo or feeling. Boring.

American Gothic by David Ackles
Apr 09 2026

Holy FUCK I’m so tired of albums like this. Some dude moaning and groaning over the slowest music ever. So pretentious

Isn't Anything by My Bloody Valentine
Apr 10 2026

Idk it’s not a thing special but it is good I can definitely see how this influenced rock going into the 21st century. For an album that was released in 1988. This sounds very late 90s early 2000s.

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Apr 13 2026

Really wanted to like this album cause it’s right up my alley in terms of genre and style but it just was a bit drowning, and his voice starts to bother me after a few tracks in.

1984 by Van Halen
Apr 14 2026

Yeah, this album hits. Great production, great drumming stellar vocals it has it all really never gets more and only ramps up. Good dad rock. I love it.

You Are The Quarry by Morrissey
Apr 21 2026

Morrissey has all the tools to be a very good artist. The music, the vocals, the vibes they’re all there. I think what falls flat is the lyricism and writing. It’s just so meh.

Apr 22 2026

This one was really good. Didn’t start off very strong, but war war is a really good song. Every song is very unique.

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Apr 23 2026

I have so much to say about this album, but I’ll keep it pretty short. The opening track has to be one of the strongest starts to any album I’ve listened to so far. This story tells such cohesive and beautiful story while also mixing up and changing the pace of the songs. And some of the best writing I’ve heard in a minute.

Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout
Apr 27 2026

I like 80s but this is too 80s

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Apr 28 2026

I see the vision here.. weak start but decent overall.

GI by Germs
Apr 29 2026

Very good well produced angry punk. Something you’d hear odd Tony hawks pro skater

Apr 30 2026

I think I like hip-hop albums so much because you can just feel the influence off of these older ones maybe not the best wrapping or lyricism I’ve heard but the production sampling definitely defined a generation of hip-hop music

System Of A Down by System Of A Down
May 04 2026

Actually the worst SOAD album to pick. Toxicity is a better album in every way. This aged horribly. Alright sugar is alright still

Basket of Light by Pentangle
May 07 2026

Absolutely not for me, but I can see the appeal it is very well-made.

May 08 2026

I can tell this guy really likes, old-school absurd, rap. This reminds me of Del the funky, we’re essentially the entire point of the album is just gotcha bars. Pretty good production and the beats are catchy. There’s just not a whole lot of substance.

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
May 11 2026

This is really good? I haven’t quite heard an album that portrays the feeling. This one does really really good production on some tracks very interesting writing I genuinely like this. But I don’t know if I would listen to it again.

Heroes by David Bowie
May 12 2026

I do not like David Bowie.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
May 13 2026

Amazing vocals some of the best guitar. I’ve heard yet crack open a beer and enjoy every song on this album.

Melodrama by Lorde
May 14 2026

Cool vibes. Good production

Street Signs by Ozomatli
May 18 2026

Really good I enjoyed a couple tracks. It sounds probably a bit too overproduced if that makes any sense but the writing and beat production is good.

Want One by Rufus Wainwright
May 19 2026

He has a fantastic voice, but this is NOT for me at all. Incredibly boring.

Haunted Dancehall by The Sabres Of Paradise
May 20 2026

I JUST LISTENED TO SOME BULLLLLLSHITTT

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
May 21 2026

Another rapey album. I won’t even listen to this. Stop promoting albums about rape.

Tom Tom Club by Tom Tom Club
May 22 2026

Genius of love, obviously carries, but overall this is still a really fun album

Different Class by Pulp
May 26 2026

was initially going to give this a three but the last half of the album ended very strong. There are some genuinely good writing. I’m not a fan of some of the vocals, but it works for the style of music really good stuff. I’d come back to this.

May 27 2026

I wanted to like this album so bad but there’s just something about it. I just can’t quite get into. I think it’s probably the vocals I don’t like the constant falsetto and screaming.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
May 28 2026

I think opening with tiny dancer was a genius idea and I’ll give John some credit for that. However, the rest of this album is incredibly boring and performative. I’ve never really liked Elton John and this is further proof as to why I don’t.

Life's Too Good by The Sugarcubes
May 29 2026

What the fuck is happening?? This is objectively bad

Dummy by Portishead
Jun 01 2026

Nice lofi vibes but not for me

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
Jun 02 2026

Jesus Christ

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
Jun 03 2026

Fantastic not a whole lot to say just solid rock great musicality, and obviously good guitar playing

The Slider by T. Rex
Jun 04 2026

Pretty decent rock album I think it would’ve been a bit better if it wasn’t right after Jimi Hendrix

Jun 05 2026

Peak 80s pop. Love the production man, the synths are just so cool man

Jun 08 2026

Ridiculousness mentioned?!?!?!? Idk but I’ve just never been able to get into Devo but it’s not necessarily bad

B-52's by The B-52's
Jun 09 2026

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SINGING HOLY SHIT SOMEBODY PLEASE HAVE A DECENT VOICE IM BEGGING

I’m a Lonesome Fugitive by Merle Haggard
Jun 10 2026

There’s definitely some bangers on this album a lot of songs kind of sound the same and they can get a tiresome, but this is a solid country album

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Jun 11 2026

Man the production is truly incredible for 1984. Wow. But I must say her vocals are just not good even in the big hit her voice is so shrill. If the production wasn’t top tier this would be a laughable album.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Jun 12 2026

If you listen to rock bottom and if I had you’ll hear about a guy who is frustrated with his poverty and desperately wants to achieve success. He’s angry at the world and wants to lash out, and he lashes out by writing music from the perspective of Slim Shady. Or like brain damage he talks about getting beat so bad and bullied in school that he had to be hospitalized multiple times. He tells a story in a very offensive way which in 2026 translates to “to be edgy” but there’s definitely more substance than just being edgy. This was clearly written by a very emotionally unstable kid and I think there’s something beautiful in the fact that we can listen into his perspective, as fucked up and twisted as it comes across. Don’t get me wrong. There is definitely a fair share of cringeworthy edged moments, but I don’t think the whole album should be written off as that there’s definitely some substance

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jun 15 2026

Yeah, this album is perfect in every single way. There is not a single and I mean one flaw. There is not a drawback or any second of this album I did not thoroughly enjoy listening to. Out of this world production paired with MJ’s vocals. I mean, how could it not be perfect. The three song run of thriller, beat it and Billie Jean is the greatest three song run in modern music history, and this album is probably the best album in history.

Smile by Brian Wilson
Jun 16 2026

Not for me at all but I understand the cultural influence and its significance

Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow
Jun 17 2026

I think I have a bit of nostalgia with this album because my mom loved Sheryl Crow. A lot of these songs remind me of my childhood and I think they still hold up today. All I wanna do is a classic LA 90s song.

Arrival by ABBA
Jun 18 2026

Wow. Amazing vocals, amazing composition, fun, energetic, just all around legendary. Dancing queen is one of the greatest songs of all time, that alone rates this album higher than most. Then money, money, money comes along and gets political and talks about wealth distribution issues, the failures of capitalism and escaping the rat race by finding a rich man. Just really good stuff. This is an all timer album, easily.

Larks' Tongues In Aspic by King Crimson
Jun 19 2026

Not bad not for me really, but the production on some tracks is fun

Jun 23 2026

I grew up listening to Johnny Cash so there’s a lot of sentimental value and listening to this on top of the fact it’s an extremely emotional goodbye album. Her is probably my favorite Cash song. It’s just so raw. This whole album is raw and vulnerable and a legendary goodbye for a legendary country artist.

Cross by Justice
Jun 24 2026

This was good

Gris Gris by Dr. John
Jun 25 2026

This was ass

Jun 26 2026

Very creepy in some songs. But not bad I guess? Idk how I rate this one properly.

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Jun 29 2026

I just really don’t understand the point of this album being on this list. Out of all of the 2020s R&B, you could pick this one just doesn’t really do it for me.

Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt
Jun 30 2026

This shit is nonsense ass dawg. Almost no substance and just no cohesion. The guitar in the last track is cool. I guess.

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Jul 01 2026

You can really hear the Kanye production and it’s fantastic over a Jay-Z bar. However, I’ve never been the biggest fan of Jay-Z and his style, but he definitely paid for the way for future artist that I consider the greats.

So Much For The City by The Thrills
Jul 02 2026

This is so mid that it’s bad? Does that make sense? Idk. It it’s not good. Such a whiny vocalist.

Phrenology by The Roots
Jul 03 2026

Wow. This is really good really really good. The production is out of this world. Black thought is not the best rapper in my opinion, but it really works with this production. Quest is obviously one of the best drummers of all time, and it shows on this record. The live instrumentation is a very cool touch to a hip-hop R&B album really good stuff.

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull
Jul 06 2026

Wtf are these lyrics? What is this vocal performance?? wtf is happening how is this even a consideration to be on this list.

Bug by Dinosaur Jr.
Jul 07 2026

“Don’t” has to be one of the worst music listening experiences of my life man. Absolutely trash. Album actually starts off pretty strong, but it takes a very quick nose dive. The production is absolutely atrocious There is way too much treble, and whoever micd those high hats needs to be hung.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Jul 08 2026

Not bad I just don’t think I’m a Led Zeppelin guy, but I see the appeal just not for me. Won’t be coming back to this, but obviously, I know this album had its fair share of influence.

Bone Machine by Tom Waits
Jul 09 2026

If I get one more fuckass tom waits album. I’m going to find the creator of this list and strap a bomb to their chest.

In It For The Money by Supergrass
Jul 10 2026

Fun album, pretty good mixing but vocals always seem too quiet, really energetic, some Beatles ass composition on some songs. Not bad

Screamadelica by Primal Scream
Jul 13 2026

The first half starts out so strong. So 80s. But quickly stops being fun and turns into a very boring, try hard-y sounding album

Shake Your Money Maker by The Black Crowes
Jul 14 2026

Hard to handle is certified white dad music. This album is white dad music. Not a bad thing. I like easy to listen to rock. But this gets a bit samey. Not a whole lot of tempo or sound changing but they stick to their sound and I’ll have them credit for that because it’s good

New Wave by The Auteurs
Jul 17 2026

I truly don’t understand this list. The 90s was absolutely packed to the brim with unbelievable progressive rock/pop, heavy, metal, indeed, etc. But somehow this generator keeps giving me third tier garbage filler indie Brit rock. Albums like this have absolutely no reason to be on this list. There’s no redeeming qualities. This is boring. As a matter of fact last few albums have been incredibly boring. This is something I need to listen to before I die? This?!?

New Forms by Roni Size
Jul 20 2026

Waiting impatiently in a liminal space type beat. Beats are fucking fire

Jul 21 2026

FINALLY SOME GOOD FUCKING MUSIC. FUCK. Motörhead is awesome. Ace of spades is a certified classic, Tony hawk banger. High energy, sounds great live. Good ass shit. Little bit long tho, but it’s live so it is what it is.

Take Me Apart by Kelela
Jul 22 2026

Yeah this is pretty good. Great production, good vocals. Subpar bland writing.

The Rising by Bruce Springsteen
Jul 23 2026

This is the best Springsteen I’ve heard. The writing is so real some really good production as well. Some songs are incredibly emotional and the writing really nails it.

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Jul 27 2026

Yeah, this album is completely goated. Unbelievable production for 86. I have to imagine this was mind-boggling to listen to as a young adult back then. Angsty bars, some offensive shit, top notch, storytelling the writing and the delivery really has it all. This is up there with some of the best debut albums ever and the first hip-hop album to go number one absolutely legendary shit.

90 by 808 State
Jul 28 2026

I will be coming back to this quite a bit. This is fantastic, love every sound. Genuinely no complaints

Groovin' by The Young Rascals
Jul 29 2026

Fine 60s with some memorable moments.

Jul 31 2026

Wow. Very good. I feel like genesis paved the way for a lot of modern sounds we hear today. Some songs can drag a bit but every few songs you will hear something quite special and unique. My only complaint is some of the writing is weird and wordy but nonetheless very good.

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall
Aug 03 2026

I think I’m just going to start automatically rating British punk rock albums a 1 and skipping. This is ridiculous, even if I was British and enjoyed punk I do not think it’s fair to have a large percentage of the albums be the same genre from the same era. Really silly.

Welcome To The Pleasuredome by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Aug 05 2026

Relax was a pretty cool track but the rest of this album is try hard self-indulgent 80s barf.

Femi Kuti by Femi Kuti
Aug 06 2026

I very much enjoyed listening to this, but I would not come back to it as it’s not my styleI.

Sincere by Mj Cole
Aug 07 2026

Nothing makes sense in this album and it is painfully long. There’s literally nothing redeeming about this.

Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
Aug 10 2026

OK, wow. Was not expecting that. I have lots to say about this album. Truly, some A1, exceptional songwriting, and music production to likes that I don’t think I’ve ever heard. You can clearly tell this guy is a veteran in the game and has a very very deep bag of tricks. Some harmonies and melodies sound like they’re straight from The Beach Boys while also having some blues and ballots that are fresh and extremely well-made. I think my only complaint unfortunately on the Spotify version of this album is the length. I think you have a masterpiece of an album if you cut a couple of the boring unfinished tracks and condensed this into an hour of constant highs. Overall, though this is damn near close to a five for me, some songs are truly art and mind blowing and something I was not expecting going into this reasons like this album are why I enjoy this generator because I never would’ve listened to this. I am thoroughly shocked and happy that this album exists and it will definitely be something. I will come back to multiple times. This is as close to a five as a four can get.

Abbey Road by Beatles
Aug 11 2026

Influence. If there’s one word, I would describe this album and the Beatles in general it is influence. I think this album and its brilliance can get lost to time by some. But I just want you to imagine listening to this album before Nirvana, before Guns N’ Roses before Red Hot chili peppers before Jimi Hendrix before AC/DC. There was nothing like this when this came out some still hold up today something that you would hear on the radio playing today as the number one hit. It’s truly unbelievable. How influential this album is and how influential the Beatles are. This is the easiest five I’ve ever given, and this is the greatest album of all time.
