Really surprised by how unliked this was in the review section. I feel like people forget how big of a number 1001 really is and for a time in musical history, Jake White was the biggest rock icon out there. This album is solid garage rock. It might not break new ground in a big way, but the White Stripes sound was highly influential. Idk how it was around the world, but i suspect Seven Nation Army (not on this album) made Jake White a house hold name internationally.
