Not for me, but fun
Mid
Out of the artist that seem to be only important to England, and there are a lot of them on this list, this was my favorite so far!
Wanted to like it more but its just aight
Really surprised by how unliked this was in the review section. I feel like people forget how big of a number 1001 really is and for a time in musical history, Jake White was the biggest rock icon out there. This album is solid garage rock. It might not break new ground in a big way, but the White Stripes sound was highly influential. Idk how it was around the world, but i suspect Seven Nation Army (not on this album) made Jake White a house hold name internationally.
It is fine. If you like jazz you probably jizz your pants over it. It is just fine
Generic AF
Boring. I don't get the appeal at all
Pretty good hooks and fun guitar riffs. Trash lyrics and verses. Still pretty nostalgic
Beefheart is the lunatic of my dreams
RIP Ozzy. What a fucking legend
boring
Common is lame af
First impression was awful but it quickly grew on me. Do I like noise??
Brimfull of asha is such a banger, too bad the rest of this isn't :(
You know what you are getting with Slayer, a bunch of songs that sound the same and a couple that fucking slap. Without Raining Blood or Angel of Death this album would be mediocre but with those two bangers, we get one of the most classic heavy metal experiences of all time. FUCKING SLAYER!!!
Extra star for being different, but the flow is bad, the choruses are annoying and the story sucks.
I didn't know there was something I could dislike more than Coldplay
Only gets a second star because this list has introduced me to worse music. Overproduced and irritating
Perfectly mediocre. loses a star for being overly generic
Man, I love Marvin but there isn't much to latch onto here
loses a star by virtue of not deserving to be in this book
Two stars only cause there is some truly unlistenable trash on this list.
Detroit rock city is a banger, the rest of the album, not so much
It sounds great until this dog enters the studio and start spewing diarrhea everywhere. Daft Punk is awesome, they should hire a better raper (rapper? rapist?)
Vultures Displaying Flowers
Trash
