Standout track: In My Bed Boring at times.
Didn't finish. Like the old school beats. Vocabulary seems to be limited. Narcissistic. Our current culture makes sense in light of this album.
Take away "Imagine", and the rest of the album is pretty good. That song is bleak and meaningless.
Music that has depth is more timeless. Rhis style of music has depth. Gilmour's guitar tones are a plus.
Gets redundant. Skipped through most tracks.
A lot of cringe lyric-wise. Definitely a product of the nu metal era. Glad that era died out. I like some of the instrumentation. And I would still take this over Nortorious B.I.G.
Pretty solid throughout. Only throw away track is "Nothing Else Matters". It feels like the boring brother to "One".
Great vocal album. Some of it sounds modern. Strongest in the "soul" moments.
Strong from start to finish. Love Peter Gabriel's vocals. This is the stronger side of prog rock.
Nice surprise. Sounds like this album may have inspired Tadiohead and The Flaming Lips. I like the experimental jam sections.
Byrds, Beatles, Dylan - it's all in there. Songs get a bit redundant towards the end.
A classic. One of the best of the 90's. Defined a genre of music.
Strong album, start to finish.
Wow! That was boring.
Pokes fun at the excesses of the rock and roll lifestyle. Seems lkkeba more modern album in some ways. Like the 70's guitar tones.
Solid album. Good lyrical writing. Could use some song intros to create some distinction.
Vocals are often low in the mix, but otherwise a pleasant album.
Too many hits not to be a classic.
Didn't finish.
I was confused by this album. Then the cocaine song came along, and it all made sense.
I'm sure it felt important if you were there, watching it live. But rather boring in a recorded version. I wouldn't even want to hear Joe Pass playing solo for that long.
They took some notes from the Beatles.
God is not us. Good beats, though.
A classic. Killer of hair metal.
Good album. Not a weak song throughout.
After the third song, the rest of the album felt like one loooong song. Got pretty boring.
Good pop album
Better than I remember when I first heard it in the 90s.
Kiddos for making synthesizer interesting through 13 songs including four instrumentals.
I made it through disc 1🤷♂️
Ritual gets all the attention, but this is the better album.
The original punk bands were s step above any pop punk that came after. Good album.
Proto Industrial Metal. Someone bought drumsticks but no drums. Didn't finish.
Do all of their albums sound like soundtracks for a musical?
There aren't any bad songs, but also nothing that sets itself apart. Just a steady album.
For some reason I was expecting a country album. Good Americana influenced pop album.
Fairly forgettable.
Never liked Spoonman, but the rest is solid.
Glad this one is short.
Commuting to work thinking I'm in a David Lynch movie.
Meh.
Not a bad song on this album. Punk influence engaged.
That was crap. Didn't finish.
Several great songs, but also a few unmemorable ones as well.
Forgettable.
Maps seems out of place.
So men having long hair was " letting your freak flag fly" in 1970? LOL. If they only knew. .
Not sure why this is in the list.
Pretty bad.
Beep beep boop beep
Not sure why this is on the list
My first one star!
That was crap.
This is appropo to the times.
There's one good song. I'm starting to think that if the album has more than 12 songs, the author of this list automatically deemed it a must listen.
The epitome of the late 80s/early 90s sound.
