Shite bro
1001 Albums Generator has officially jumped the shark... then jumped it again just to make sure. Apparently, I need to hear every album on this list before I die. I'm going to take my chances. The deeper I get, the more it feels like a list assembled by committee. Plenty of great albums are on there, but a lot of it feels completely disposable. Here's the thing: listen to what you enjoy. Music isn't homework, and nobody gets a medal for finishing a list some critic declared "essential." Your taste is yours, it's subjective, and the only person who has to like your playlist is you. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to listen to the same five albums for the 700th time. Rant over.
