There were a lot of covers on this album and for the most part other people did them better. This may be a groundbreaking album, but I’m not sure it stood the test of time.

Enjoyed all I was able to listen to and will be adding it to my playlist.
Tracks Started to sound similar but wasn’t able to listen fully.
Seemed t gva compilation. Still prefer American Idiot.
Not a bad country album if you’re in the mood for her voice
Didn’t realize the first time around how much punk influence is in her music
The vocals were lost in the version
This is a very decent album, although it’s not exactly my type of music
Relaxing Aftican music. Easy to listen to when you need to concentrate in task at hand
This album was grating. Couldn’t listen to all of it
Good album for background music
Meh. Didn’t grab me. Wasn’t annoying.
Love this album
Excellent percussion work.
Started off too heavy for me but became less so. Lived the symphony pairing
Grew up with this one and love it
As bad as 80s music gets
I would’ve told you, I hate the white stripes, but this album was really good. I’m surprised.
Ltvsll stdtted sounding similar after a few songs. Love the energy
Easy listening country.
A great album but not one I’d want to listen to again
Nice 70s sounding country album
Pretty good for new wave music but ultimately can’t get it over three
This was an easy album to listen to, but not a great album for me
Always love Frank but not sure this is his best. Good for dinner parties
Not this is they best but I liked it
The lead singer had a terrible voice but music was ok
Probably their best album. Makes me happy listening to it.
Good album but not sure I would listen to it again
The talking before each song was awful
Good sound and variety
Hate!
Solid
Great 90s alt! Glad I got to hear it.
Great album
Harsh voice, dark lyrics but good music
Precursor to later 70s hard rock but very rough and unpolished.
Musically sound. Not my style but would be his background music
This is surprisingly better than expected. Would not be a bad album for a long road trip.
Great album
The music was ok but his voice makes every song feel the same
I was expecting to like this a lot more
Boring
The entire album sounded like it wasn’t completely finished.
Can’t believe I’ve never listened to this entire album until now. It’s a great album although not something I’d listen to very often.
Good music but didn’t seem cohesive as an album
Could bit listen to more than a few notes of each song
Perfect for a morning run
I like George Jones a lot, but this album was not great.
I usually love Van Morrison at this album was disappointing.
The first song is one of the worst I’ve ever heard, but the rest of the album rated a five
10CC has a lot of good songs out from the 70s, but none of them were on this album. I could barely listen to this.
I liked a lot of this album, but it seemed a little non-cohesive.
There were times she had an Amy Winehouse sound.
This album is from my era and I knew more songs on it than unexpected. I’m not a huge MJ fan but it’s a really solid album.
Very Mellow and chill but all so similar
I’ve never heard of this person or album, but Michael Stipes was right- it’s a great album.
Still no a fan
Meh
I would have liked this more if it were remastered and maybe not live
Too much talk singing and melodrama I think the concept of the album was a bit off off putting. I usually like this genre
The two songs everyone knows still good. Thenrestveas just too soft and wispy.
I could not get my AirPods out of my ears fast enough for this album. I’m not sure what all the fuss was about.
I just don’t like her voice. Nails on chalkboard
I learned after the first two albums that I don’t like Björk. So nothing has changed.
I felt like this was two different album stuck together randomly. Like a combination of Indie rock and punk.
Certainly a 90s vibe to this. The music is solid but you have to really be in the mood for this vibe.
Why do we have to hear this? What’s the point?
The music part I like enough to give us album before, but the singer was so bad. I would’ve given him just a two.
Pretty much every song sounded like his hit, Cars. It wasn’t bad music, but it wasn’t very exciting.
Some of the songs on this album have a real old Austin sound, but that still couldn’t raise it to a four star album for me
They should have kept Dylan
I love The The but this wasn’t their best album
Some songs were better than anticipated while others as bad as expected.
This album sounds like old Austin, which I guess makes sense given the group and the timeframe. I happen to like old Austin.
His voice was too soft. Could barely hear the vocals. Good music though
Repetitive drum beat throughout the album
I like a lot of his stuff. But this album Was a miss
Did not enjoy to my surprise.
It’s a great album you’re looking for some old-fashioned standards to enjoy
I hate to give them a low rating, but the album didn’t grab me
Easy send to, relaxing, but also with an upbeat vibe
The entire album sounded like one song. So repetitive
I love most of what REM does, but I didn’t really care for this album
There was too much similarity between each sign in tone and quality.
Interesting lyrics.
If you’re in the mood for redneck country music, this is a pretty good album. Not as good as Lynyrd Skynyrd for sure.
Not sure this aged well
Why is this an album I needed to hear??
I don’t like no Young and I wasn’t going to listen to this album. It was much better than I expected, but I would call it grunge.
I’ve only given it as many stars as I did because I’ve always loved Tainted Love. But clearly that song was an anomaly for them because the rest of the album is pretty bad.
After listening to this, it’s no surprise at all that Oasis beat The Verve for best UK album of the last 30 years.
Not my favorite genre but I can telll it’s good for what it is
Nothing wrong with this, but it’s not very exciting
There were a lot of covers on this album and for the most part other people did them better. This may be a groundbreaking album, but I’m not sure it stood the test of time.
I’m not sure why they’re so popular This is a no for me
Waterloo sunset saves this album. I raised my rating because if it.
I was surprised that I more or less enjoyed this album. It reminded me that many places of the music coming out of the UK in mid 80s. At the time I would’ve called it new wave, but it was probably early punk.
That falsetto was intolerable
This is giving vibes of Appalachia and rural North Carolina of the 30s and 40s with their Scottish based music meets Bob Dylan meets disenfranchised 80s youth of the UK. I think the first disc was better than the second one. His voice was too aggressive on so many songs on the second one.
