I am not what you might call a Bruce Springsteen fan, but everytime I listen to a record I am always bopping my head and singing along.
The messages of the songs are good, but I am just not a fan of U2.
I understand the influence of new order on music and the many bands that count them as an influence but I am not a fan.
This album could have lasted about about 10 minutes if you delete all of the duplicate words. Last track was the best one of the album.
It was a talking head album. It was uniquely that.
The beats are good but the lyrics in French just pull me out of it.
Only God Knows Why, Kid Rock has had a career as an artist. He needs to stick to boat rock, yacht rock is just a little too classy.
It sounds like if The Beatles attempted an EDM record with no bass because Paul is actually dead. Also, not my cup of tea. And I would like to know why this record is 53 minutes long for three tracks? Finally, in the track listing movement 1 is before the into movement. Just doesn’t make since to me. Maybe I am the idiot.
I will be the first to admit that electronic music is not my cup of tea, I can’t not imagine a world where I am in my death bed and remark well thanks be that I listened to Underworld. Why are the tracks so long and so repetitive. I don’t understand it and please don’t try to explain it is a waste of time for all parties. No one can convert me.
I detest this record and it not because I don’t like pop or I think that Brittany isn’t talented. The album is the definition of over produced. Of this record were made of brass you would be able to see yourself in it. It needs more grit. It suspends the belief that music artists can imperfect but still make art. Things the opposite of art.
The first couple tracks are unlistenable but I grew on me as I listened to the rest.
It sounds like someone is trying to do a David Bowie impression or the label had a bunch of songs to release and where looking for a David Bowie type to record them.
