Combination of jam band, pure 70’s rock with some hair metal. This album is goood

Sub a different lead singer in this band and I drop a 4 banger on this ass. Guy (to me) sounds like he is fighting bronchitis and diarrhea at all times. Every other minute i expect him to drop a, “play the guitar on the mtv” line. Its my problem. I know this.

No, just no I cant see how, even for it’s time, this was an influential album. Take away Son of a Preacher Man and you have a listless, drab album.

At least they featured her voice in the music and didn’t drown it out with the band. I gave it a 3-star due to the fact that it was listenable even though not my favorite music

Anyone in music production can sample music, but he clearly does it at a level that no one can compare with. My only criticism is I think he raps too much…lol.

This solidifies it for me, one of the best jazz albums of all time and all i wanted to do was skip every song. Cant do it, just dont like jazz

What an awful album choice to have added to this list of 1001. For sure, there are some stinkers but this one takes the top spot for biggest piece of shit on here…it’s not even music. Just some fuckwad band tinkering around in their garage trying new ways to think they’re pushing lines on what’s possible. Ugh. Not one single person in all of the world alive or dead has ever said, I have friends getting together later maybe I should put on some really good music, like DOA. I dont care if that wasnt the intention of this album to begin with. If I could give this horseshit album 0 stars that would be more appropriate. I’m so fired up about this album that I’m leaving a review no one is even going to read. If you do read this and you have this album up next in the cue, take my advice…don’t listen to any of it. Piece of shit.
