Great album. Feels contemporary in so many ways.

A few good singles - but repetitive in the extreme.

Feels so dated now. Misogyny was more on trend back then…

On the whole it’s forgettable songs. That said, it’s dated well. 3.25/5

Actually enjoyed this more than I expected when it started. Fun and vulgar, funny in places. Full of fury, and mainly, signifying nothing.

Really enjoyed listening to this whilst in a run. Not listened to it for years and years - was better than I remembered.

Of the rap I’ve had so far, I musically enjoyed this one the most - although still have the same issues with the misogyny and immaturity.

I found this to be really forgettable - the music played but none of it had any impact - positive, negative or otherwise! It's not bad - just, well, meh!

One of my favourite albums of all time - vivid memories of listening to it for the first time on cd.

Didn't impact on me in the way that Monk and Mingus did, but an enjoyable listed and music that I imagine needs to be heard and seen live to be properly appreciated. 3.75/5

Includes one of the great covers of all time in ‘Hurt’. Cash’s voice is something else - it feels like his entire life is contained in each syllable.

I’ve never been a U2 fan, but this album will make me listen to them a little more.

When you write and sound like this at 21, you know that there is a special talent there. Adele has an incredible voice and ability to convey emotion. This is, without doubt, a modern classic.

I listened to this so many times as a teenager and it means something different to me, that I don’t think I can rate it anything other than a 5 (although it’s not really)

This captures the odd Empire facing, class obsessed, Britain of the late 60s and 70s brilliantly.

By repo was excited for this, but really failed to live up to what I’d expected.

A reminder of my childhood and first dance at our wedding.
