Lead singer sounds kind of like Plankton from SpongeBob.

Becoming increasingly irritated with the repetitive 80s bs albums on this list. There is nothing unique about this album, really just more of the same.
Ever song is 100 years long but the instrumentals are very cool.

Familiar with Led Zeppelin only by name, I don’t think I’ve ever heard any of their songs in full. I’m loving their music way more than I assumed I would, which is a great feeling.
More of a 3.5 i like the music and the beats but it’s not my style.
Some of the music and instrumentals were cool but some songs were a little too experimental for my taste.
As i listen I’m feeling quite under the weather so may be feeling less charitable than usual. I did not enjoy this album at all.
3.5 rounded up. Enjoyed the music and love finally getting some r&b/soul on this list
I’d be curious to know why this album was chosen for this list.
I’m sure this would have been fun to listen to live back when this was released. The instrumentals are good but the vocals leave much to be desired…
Love the vocals, the rhythms, and the instrumentals. Definitely a fantastic album.
I’m not saying instrumental albums can’t be good but this is essentially 50 mins of early 00’s action movie dvd menu music.

Thought this album would be right up my alley as I tend to enjoy alt rock. This was very middle of the road for me. None of the tracks really stood out.
I actually really love the instrumentals, i think they sound great. The vocals are… another story. I perused some of the lyrics and they have some messages that resonate but without reading the lyrics id have no idea what was being said. The vocals do remind me of the anime Aggretsuko though, which might make some people roll their eyes but it was nice to have a point of reference/recognition!
Total classic.
Total classic.
Didn’t seem very cohesive but some classic songs included.
Not for me. Not horrible though, just very different.
Can’t bring myself to give this one 5 stars bc of the disturbing abuse and misogyny themes heavily present throughout the album. But i was surprised by how much i did really like the flow and production of this album. I’m a little too young to have listened to Eminem during his prime era, and not really in the target audience anyway but i enjoyed the quirkiness, experimentalism, and honesty present throughout this album. And it helps that it’s a pretty fun listen too.
This sounds like an album of music from a broadway play, and actually if that were the case I’d probably like this more. I started to get more on board with this album at the song “If…” which is where the vocals became more tolerable for me but the instrumentals and lyrics are still too campy for my tastes.
I enjoyed the first half of the album but the second part fell pretty flat.
Beautiful instrumentals but the vocals were not great.
Mostly just underwhelming.
Totally my kind of music! One of the first albums I've received that I’ve enjoyed from top to bottom.
3.5 rounded up
There are definitely better Gorillaz albums that probably would have been better for this list.
4.5 rounded up. I like the somber tones of the music and the unique tones of the vocals.
The album as a whole contrasts its self in an interesting way. Part one is a solid hip-hop album while part two is an experimental mix of hip-hop, RnB and several other genre influences mixed in. Part two really does the heavy lifting of this album for me, both thematically and in execution. André 3000’s unique artistic vision combines with strange romantic-ish songs and messages that are different than a lot of what comes out of hip-hop, especially modern hip-hop, and are much needed from music as a whole.
Catch a vibe i guess.
Never listened to rage against the machine before but i expected it to be more metal. Either way, it was fine.
I think this would have been a fine album had it not way overstayed its welcome. By the time I got to the last few of the 25 songs i was so eager for this album to be over.
Lead singer sounds kind of like Plankton from SpongeBob.
Incredibly entertaining and the bongos are predictably excellent but like…. A whole hour long album of bongos starts to feel excessive very quickly.

Super trippy and i could see enjoying this album in the right circumstance.
Ever song is 100 years long but the instrumentals are very cool.
Within the context of the film Superfly, this soundtrack is fantastic. On its own, the album is not bad but not amazing.
I’m surprised that I enjoyed this one. It’s very different but if nothing else, it’s nice background noise while focusing on something else.
I’ve been looking forward to getting more country music in this lineup. I was enjoying this album until we got into the violence against women topics. Hard pass.
Not the best Lana Album but still good.
I really don’t think there is anything unique at interesting about this album. The music is generic and the songs are too long.
This is probably some of the most soulless rnb music I’ve heard. The music itself is fine but it’s disappointing because It feels very commercial, i don’t get much sense of the artist’s emotion, passion, or care for the genre or subject matter.
Not a bad Christmas album- glad for the festive music pic for the holiday.
Tentative 4 stars because i did enjoy some of the music but a lot of it was pretty generic especially for this time period when everything sounded similar to this.
Incredibly French, but not unenjoyable. I liked the song “Les Vieux” the most and was surprised that ultimately i quite liked this album.
Great instrumentals but the vocal performance is…not good.
It’s always interesting that often, when there is an album other than 60s/80s soft rock it gets poor reviews… just an observation.
If i was high this would probably go crazy.
I think this sucks.
The vocals here are genuinely not very good.
When I think of the Beatles this kind of sound is usually what comes to mind. There are one or two songs on this album that i enjoy, Here Comes the Sun being one of them. But I’ve never been a fan of the work from this album. It’s not particularly interesting or moving to me. I’ve become a fan of their earlier work, it felt more passionate and unique.
I enjoyed the harmonica.
This album is fine but i dont think it’s even a top 3 TS album.
There is no way to “separate the art from the artist”. Manson is a rapist and a creep who won’t be getting money from my streams 👍
Well, I do enjoy both noise and vibes so I can’t say that this album didn’t deliver.
The vocals are definitely weak but the instrumentals and production are nice.
Kanye sucks

This list just lost an incredible amount of credibility for this entry alone. And this album is almost 2 hrs long?? Absolutely not.
The song “Handcuffs” immediately bumped this down to a 2 star album. Gross.
The interludes/skits haven’t aged well but the music itself is catchy and fantastically produced with great vocals.
What are we meant to take away from songs like “under my thumb” and “stupid girl”? Ridiculous misogynistic album & a boring waste of time.
I thought i would enjoy this album and I did like the beats and the flow but the lyrics were some of the most misogynistic I’ve heard. “You can’t fade me” was a nauseating addition in particular. I enjoy rap/hip hop but i couldn’t get into this one.
