Gorgeous voice, evocative of Nina Simone if not as deep. Love that this is live and captures a moment in time.

Easy listening crowd-pleasing rock, fun to hear some of the deep tracks off this album for the first time.
Not normally my type of music, but made for fun listening, keeps you energized, yes better suited to a night out ;) The final ballad to NY is unexpected and bittersweet.
God this woman's voice - don't find Frank to be have the showstoppers that her later albums do, but fun to listen to how she develops as a singer and artist.
Smooth and easy listening, not my favorite genre but smooth voices and groovy beats and clearly pioneers of doo-wop and soul and so much more.
Love it from the first lick of Sunflower! Had never heard of Weller, but love his singer-songwriter ethos and knowing his later influence on groups like Oasis. Makes me think in turns of Mark Knopfler, the Band
Fun to go back and hear vintage disco Michael, and realize how revolutionary this moment was for him. "Don't Stop Til..." holds up after all these years.
100% new to me - enjoyed learning about the band's history, goofy nature, leftist lyrics. The ska influence is fun, even if not my usual jam.
An album from Dexys with no 'Come on Eileen'! Honestly, nothing here grabs me :(
I'm sure she's iconic, but wouldn't listen again.
Just wonderful! The tabla, the return to Middle Eastern beats, the joy
