A bit too downbeat, but that one big track (Sprawl II) is very good

Not usually a big fan of directly listening to instrumental jazz stuff, but this is well constructed. Feels like atmospheric music to me. Weirdest thing to me is to have multiple versions of songs with the same name under different "Take" numbers, but I guess that's common for jazz live albums at the time? Listening a second time. I enjoy this but I don't think I would pick it? Also just kind of washing over me rather than getting me to engage with it directly. Maybe due to working? Unsure.
Clearly iconic. I've heard *of* this album but never heard it. Well, except for "Where Is My Mind?". Nirvana and all the rest clearly came from this.
Lots of psychedelia, interesting stuff!
"Sunshine of Your Love" is iconic. The rest of the album was OK. The final track, "Mother's Lament" sounds like a bunch of British public school boys having a laugh, and not really in a good way. Also getting a Clapton album on MLK Jr. Day probably colored my opinion a bit.
Fantastic and fantastically horny (in both senses of the word)
Lust For Life is such an iconic track. And Bowie on backing vocals throughout? Great!
What even is this? Atonal to the extreme. I now regret giving 1s to other albums if this is the bottom.
