Interesting but not catchy. Sound samples are interesting.
Good soundscapes. Potential for a second listen, but nothing that caught my attention immediately.
Catchy, boppy, fun to listen to. The production is top notch, so many interesting details.
Delightful. Chester is amazing.
Fun album. Love her voice and how she made jazz modern. Probably won’t listen again.
Funky, super catchy, very cool pop. The fact that the album has a futuristic sci-fi theme makes it all the more amazing. Get LP.
A lot of tunes sound the same. She has a wide range, but that’s something that is not as appealing to me.
Fun album. You can imagine the performances unfolding in front of your eyes. Definitely will listen again. Get LP.
Very generic. Nothing stood out to me.
Very catchy. I can recognise so many of these tunes. Guess they were playing everywhere. But as forgettable after you stop listening to them.
Great harmonies. Fun to listen to.
Very ambient?
Love the soundscapes. Need to get this LP
Sounds a lot like Rolling Stones.. maybe likeable.
Definitely his best album. Gonna rate it high cause of the nostalgia.
Sounded repetitive, but I’ll try to give it one more listen.
A couple of catchy songs.
Interesting instruments. Sounds middle eastern, jazzy and electronic at the same time. Has some Indian themes as well. Definitely worth another listen.
Love the wordsmith skills. I want this LP
They use different types of instruments to make simple melodies sound more intriguing.
Some songs were definitely listenable. Others were sound collages put together. Not a very cohesive album, maybe that’s the point?
Brutal and brilliant. You can feel the rage and the anger, but artfully packaged with catchy rhythms
Funky fresh. Rap, Funk, rnb all rolled into one. So much to discover
I know each song, the way it is represented in this album. But I will never pick this album up to listen to it on my own. Very average.
Needs another listen. Nothing jumped at me, but the sound feels so exotic and familiar at the same time.
Moppy.. don’t wanna listen to it again
Fun, rolling stonesque. Very straightforward, road trip album.
Very uninteresting. The words might be worth reading at some point, but the music was not interesting at all.
Not the best John Lee Hooker that I have heard, but you can see glimpses of the man shining through.
Not my favourite Beatles album, but still so good. There is so much variety in the songs, their structure and their production.
So many amazing songs. Even the non-hits would find a place in the greatest hits of any other band.
Brilliant. Niles can do no wrong.
Fun to listen to, but get repetitive after a while.
I thought it would be more ambient like his other albums, but the first few songs were actually listenable. Might try this again.
Average. Some tunes might be worth listening to, but I don’t think the minimalist vibe works for me.
Fun, interesting songs. Definitely worth a second listen.
