Sea Change is so pretty it hurts. Melancholy Beck is a vibe. This is his best album, but I’m partial to the slower, less funky ones (Mutations, Morning Phase, Modern Guilt) Love how the songs sound minimalist and maximalist at the same time; it’s very sophisticated. Favorite tracks: "Guess I'm Doing Fine", "Sunday Sun", “Lonesome Tears”, "Lost Cause" “Round The Bend” but there are zero skips. 5/5
Will be returning to this one for sure. Title track, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart (fantastic Bee Gees cover!) and Judy were highlights for me.

Still fresh and what a voice! Highlights: Blue Suede Shoes, Blue Moon, Money Honey 5/5
Beautiful 🩵
It’s a Dinosaur Jr. 45 slowed down to 33.
Beautiful vocals, shimmery guitars. Very nice!
I am a Stones fan, but they are a singles band. I have tried to love this album since I was teen in the 80s but if was boring then and it’s boring now.Tumbling Dice and Shine A Light are highlights
Like a warm hug. Loved it.
Strawberry Letter 23 is ❤️
4/5 Highlights are Love Her Madly, LA Woman, Riders On The Storm and the lovely Hyacinth House.

Perfect rock album.
I mean, it’s The Beatles 💙
It’s great!
Beautiful
Ridiculous at times but I love it.
This album hasn’t left my rotation since it was released. As good as it gets.
Who doesn’t love a Goth dance party? Of course the “hits” Dominion/Mother Russia, Lucretia My Reflection and This Corrosion are great. 1959 is special, too. 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Later Elvis truly is the best Elvis 🔥 Kentucky Rain, In The Ghetto, Suspicious Minds, True Love Travels Down A Gravel Road and Burt Bacharach’s lovely Any Day Now are superb.
Sara takes this 3 star to 4. It’s absolutely magical.
If this was satire I’d give it a 2.
No
Doesn’t get much better than this.
What a lovely album this is. There is no one who sounds quite like Cat. Crisp guitar. Thoughtful, sincere lyrics. Unique, sensitive voice. Favorites: Wild World, Father And Son, Where Do The Children Play. 5 stars
Groove Is In The Heart is great! The resr not so much.
Fuck yes turn this shit up to 11 5/5
Hauntingly beautiful. Shimmering, ethereal, gothic, shoegaze/dream pop masterpiece. 5/5
❤️🤍❤️
Will be returning to this one for sure. Title track, How Can You Mend A Broken Heart (fantastic Bee Gees cover!) and Judy were highlights for me.
Love Side 1, especially So Far Away 💙
I Want You To Want Me is still a banger. Surrender is fine. The rest is surprisingly low energy for a live recording.
Amazing. 80s perfection.
Baroque rock perfection. Just dandy 🩵
Smooth, jazzy and saxy for days. It’s a mood and that mood is a sophisticated lady driving a convertible in Miami to meet up with Crockett and Tubbs. My 13 year old self wore this cassette out. 4/5
I love this! Great in 1989 and great now. Love Frank’s punk rock cowboy storytelling and delivery and Kim’s backing vocals and bass and how danceable the album is. Stand outs for me: Wave Of Mutilation Debaser Hey (Kim’s bass!) Silver Gouge Away Monkey Gone To Heaven No. 13 Here Comes Your Man (that bass!!!)
Perfect!
Theatrical happy vibes, plus ogres.
3. Didn’t like it as much as I did in 87. Sign Your Name is still pretty.
Fab!
Incredible 💜
A 2 but Bell Bottom Blues and the Rita Coolidge piano bit of Layla are so great I’m bumping to 4
💜💜💜💜💜
Perfect
