Great first choice, machine. Was just talking about this album the other night. Top track : Girl Loves Me. Don’t think the quality is going to hold up.

A bit monotone and yelly ...
Less melodic Talking Heads — very rhythmic. At the beginning, it was a nice pick me up for my commute, but it’s a bit long. He’s sent in the Army sounds like early Modest Mouse a bit. Strong last few songs
Interesting...
Honestly better than I thought it would be.
Not the biggest fan — guitar solo-y and 2 word choruses. Closing song not bad
Not bad - some good tunes from one of my favorite musical eras.
Groovy and lighthearted — a pleasant surprise
Crooning nostalgia, with a hint of symphonic and world music. Top.
First time I’ve actually listened to an album of theirs
First great find 👍
Jammy 🕺
Enjoying this more than I thought I would... but still
Yes yes yes, gonna need a few listens, but definitely my style
West Coast Pixies, but not as good..
Pretty good, almost a softer, poppier The Clash
80’s synth pop/rock -debut album - Stronger 2nd half - more beats, and development in the songs
It’s your world : Be on time, with nowhere to go
Hmm, it’s alright. Nothing special
Not bad, but not really my thing
Damon Albarn, but not quite Gorillaz
Basically Fleetwood Mac. But before
Good ol’ gothic gloom — was hard to get past Disintegration as an album, it is too good
What’s that singing style that Bob Dylan used on Blood on the Tracks? Who started that?
Classic !
Poverty in middle America — not really something that draws me in
Pretty good - never heard of him before. Almost like a folkier Paul Simon ? But not
J’adore
Groovy. Interesting story
Honestly not bad, but just like a poor man’s Bowie
Not big into the stones, but they really make their sound seem authentic, genuine, unique. Just good. Like on another level
H’mm
Fine, but nothing crazy special
Fine, not my style
Great fun 🎉
Built my hopes up a bit by reading the wiki page — should give another listen
Sounds like an American The Clash
Fine, not really my vibe
Straight from the man that inspired Bob Dylan ! Fine. Not something I’d listen to a lot
Basically like an unknown Beatles album, with hints of Bowie, ELO
Good vibey background music
Definitely some good bits, but it’s so long - not sure it’ll have a lot of replay value to me. The 90’s generic female vocals are also a bit dated. Definitely cool for what it represents
🪕🎸
All over the place
For those 60’s church kids that wanted to feel like rebels. More interesting after reading the wiki
More concise than San Quentin, but less immersive
Pretty good - bit Paul Simon-y
Yes yes yes
Ehhhhh
Everybody Hurts, Nightswimming
Actually, quite good
Ermm...
I had braced for a harder listen than it ended up being
Not as bad as I thought it would be
Groovy, very enjoyable
Probably the most unique album I’ve heard so far on this list
Wow, those ratings ! Kinda long, but definitely some good tunes
Classic
First time ever listening to a full Nirvana album. Fine. Not a super fan
Couple huge songs - but yeah...
Almost hits the spot, just not quite. Makes me wish Spotify had Ys on it
Some impressive pop without being try-hard. Too long though.
Good, but soooo long - obviously it’s 2 albums. Just hard to digest
Musically OK. Lyrically unbearable. Like wtf.
Bleh
Stronger beginning and end >< Interesting couple of songs in the middle... already like them better. Still very good
Prefer Fela
So late 2000’s — sound of Mary’s basement
Fine
