This reminds me of living in halls at university and having to endure the faux-hippy twat upstairs playing his guitar and ‘singing’ to try and impress girls. It should never have been committed to tape, let alone appear in the this list.

I genuinely do not understand how this can in the list of best albums.
Wish I could award zero stars
Good Times + a lot of filler.
Probably the worst album I’ve had on this so far.

Not my kind of thing at all. Didn't bother with the 'bonus' tracks.
This takes a while to get going but then it's a good stomp and some very good tracks. "Thankfully Not Living In Yorkshire It Doesn't Apply" is as mad as the title implies.
No. Just. No.
Not really my sort of thing, and this felt old-fashioned when it was *released*, let alone 30 years later. Not bad, just not a great album.
Reminded me how good this is. Not a duff track on it and they’re not afraid of a tune.
I genuinely do not understand how this can in the list of best albums.
There's nothing wrong with this other than it sounds quite of its time. I just can't believe that this can be considered amongst the best albums ever.
So lost in it’s own cleverness that it forgets to be even remotely interesting.
This is very bad.
This reminds me of living in halls at university and having to endure the faux-hippy twat upstairs playing his guitar and ‘singing’ to try and impress girls. It should never have been committed to tape, let alone appear in the this list.
Just not my thing at all - confirmed my view that Metallica take themselves far too seriously and way more than their teenage-grade ooooh-so-scary lyrics can sustain. The opening instrumental is like one of those ‘The London Philharmonic Plays Rock Classics’ compilations you used to see advertised on tv in the 80s.
Just a nothing sort of album.
Most of this is so familiar that it now sounds quite cliched, but it’s a collection of good tunes nonetheless.
About three times as long as it should be. Some great, timeless songs here though.
Bleurggh!
Liked this. Has the worst opening track ever but otherwise really great.
Not for me.
Generic and dull
Meh.
Ugh.
Ugh.
Probably the worst album I’ve had on this so far.
Really good.
Not bad, just not great.
I’ve never really understood the appeal of The Jam.
Honestly, I think this is over-rated. I get why it was ground-breaking at the time but for me it’s style over substance.
Dull then. Dull now.
Wish I could award zero stars
Now THIS is an album.
Not bad per se, just too familiar and too much filler.
Good Times + a lot of filler.
Meh.
Way too long.
Minus 1,000,000 stars!
Generic 80s indie ‘meh’
Not into this at all.
Not into this at all.
Nonsense.
Nothing wrong with it, but just not very interesting
Pretentious nonsense.
Comically bad.
