First rating so easy does it

First hip hop album…not bad like the underlying beats…lyrics are beyond me

One of my all time favorites..the 80’s were my time …single in Honolulu and young and prime..music was sensational

Too frantic…not my style…like earlier prog rock(70’s/80’s)

Excellent..forgot just how good this album is…dating myself, but this was a great era for music..listened a few times

Pleasantly surprised, always did like British rock and this was cool.

Was pretty disillusioned with 70’s music and then along came the B-52’s,and my music world heading into the 80’s changed…cool album and they only got better…fun,fun,fun

I try to keep open and have heard new and different music I’ve enjoyed..but this is just noisy garbage not worth the time of day…but to each his own

5.5….one of MY top ten albums…cut my teeth in great music with this album….had older siblings that were a great influence, but discovered this one on my own…saw then once with Duane( my 1st concert) and 3 times after that….just can’t say enough about album and group

Brought back great memories of a 16 yo guy..still fun although my tastes have changed and after listening again pretty decent album..love the fact that he is also a scratch golfer…rock on Alice

5.5…one of my all time favorites….solid rock and roll…was housesitting on Maui late 70’s and these guys lived next door, came out and played volleyball with us….regular guys, good fun…..but I’ve just always loved their music

Not at all what I expected, very interesting sound..mellow,frantic,discombobulated but fun…older boomer here always interested in new sounds…this is a keeper

I give it 9/5 but I’m extremely biased..Van has been my favorite artist since 1970( have all his music plus bootlegs). This is a very good album but in my humble opinion not his best.His songwriting/ poetry is inspiring, love his horn playing.I’ve seen him 3 times in concert( 2nd row in Toronto)…love him…..

I can think of 1002 albums that are better than this.Who made up this list of albums to hear before I die…think I died after hearing this

Not my style, I’m sure there are plenty of people who enjoy it just doesn’t do anything for me.

At the time my daughter loved it and I hated it..that still stands but I’ll give it a 4 because a lot of people appreciated it…just not my style
