good listen, very ahead of it’s time

I was dreading this but it was actually really good. Idk why it’s so poorly rated.

Quite disappointing based on what I had heard previous to this of the band. I find it funny that the review in the 2005 edition of the book says that this album is under appreciated now but in 10 years people will appreciate it more. However it was removed from later editions of the book.

Fun album. One of the records that inherited from my papa but never took the time to properly appreciate until now.

I feel like I should have enjoyed this album but it just felt like it dragged.

I hate to admit it but this album was actually quite enjoyable. The same can’t be said for her later albums unfortunately though I did enjoy her work in the sugar cubes.

Some very good stand out tracks but some tracks could have maybe been cut.

Starts off decent, drops off at epitaph and moonchild then picks up a bit again at the end

This album really surprised me as i was only aware of the norman cook remix of brimful of asha before listening.

This is their first album so I do have to cut them some slack, but I’ve found through this generator that I don’t like the Stones as much as I thought I would. At least on other Stones albums there are some stand out singles but nothing really felt too interesting on this album.

Side one the harmonica was painful and there was an unnecessary amount of jamming at the end of some of the tracks. Side two was significantly better

one of the best albums of all time

along with dizzee rascal, this álbum helped me realise that i actually quite enjoy grime. was very impressed on my first listen.

so long and boring. i struggled to bring myself to listen to this more than once and never even managed to make it the whole way through.

just very mid. nothing really stood out compared to their debut.

Love a good musical opera and this album is no exception. I find sometimes though the narrative can get in the way of good songs with operas but this album does not suffer from that as every song has good narrative and works well on their own.

I quite enjoyed this album but i do agree that there is way too much Morrissey on this list.

the songs i already knew were enjoyable but the rest weren’t very interesting. i can understand why people complain about there being too many britpop albums on this list.
