Very good. Different style of punk than I'm used to. More meandering and romantic rather than rebellious. No anthems but that's to its benefit. Enjoyable overall.

Very much an opposite style of punk from the last album I reviewed (Marquee Moon) but looks be more complex musically and takes from other genres well. That's Entertainment was a hit for a reason. Enjoyable, but something just felt a bit missing for me that's stopping it from getting a higher mark.
Decade defining album. Every different flavour of 70s pop is in here and they still do it better than everyone else.
Sorry, just don't get Radiohead. No matter how many times I try. I appreciate the departure from typical rock, and if you enjoy music as experimental art this is your bag. I can give it points for that. However an album still needs to be pleasing listening and barring one song (Treefingers) Kid A is just not that.
Perfectly fine. Not the biggest fan of the blend of jazz and rock they were trying as I don't think it suits the vocals, but the album wasn't displeasing to listen to
For post beatles it's very good, not one skip on there. However it's not 'All Things Must Pass' so it only gets a 4.
Nope, not for me. Psychobilly just ain't my sound. The cover of Fever was good though.
Superb. Express Yourself is an amazing track. The first two songs announce an entire genre into the mainstream perfectly. Some lyrics haven't aged very well, but the significance of this album can't be denied.
Got very dull very quick. Weller can construct an interesting intrumental but add his lyrics and voice and I'm bored stiff
Decent enough dad rock. Shame he's a cunt.
Quite bland unfortunately, but enough there to keep you interested. Should be considered the bar to clear for 3 out of 5 albums. Regardless, if I have to listen to any more brit pop and post punk I'll fucking top myself
Better than Eric Clapton's solo stuff. Layla is such a corker it elevates the mediocre tracks in here by association. Would be a 4, but shame he's a cunt
Another dud. Tired tracks with nothing close to anything as iconic or entertaining as their soundalike The Rolling Stones. How Mick Jagger can think this is better than Sticky Fingers is truly beyond me.
Thoroughly enjoyed this as a more formed and certain new mave album. Certainly not as good as many of it's contemporaries, but worthy of a 4
I mean, come on. Each song could be a single. So many experimentations in style but somehow a defined sound. A cracking album all around.
Excellent. Classic rock at it's finest with added live vibes. Would thoroughly recommend.
Not as bad as I was expecting at all. Dour but some songs still had an unmistakable groove. Solid album
Good, all the tracks were high quality and had a great sound
No skips. Absolutely fantastic listening.
Really fun sound. Felt like I was on a riverboat cruise. Good easy listening
Couldn't finish it. Bland, uninspired shit
Very influental album, but given how great 'Number of the Beast' is as a follow up this album's just not there in terms of quality.
Used to listen to songs like this around the dinner table with the family every day when I was a kid. They were easy listening then, but take on a whole new meaning for me now I can properly appreciate them. I adore this album.
The sound feels like punk and pop fighting, but also kinda great. In my uneducated head it feels like a precursor to contemporary alt rock. Really rather good.
Really good. Alternative in a fun way. Mashing genres together and it stuck the landing
Nothing but bangers
Outstanding riffs and overall sound. Lyrics of felt like someone was forcing nuggets of shit into my ears. 3.
