Metal that makes me smile
Kanye West

Janis Joplin
3/5
It's ok, the band is tight, Joplin's voice is iconic, but overall, just feel like it's alright
Talking Heads

Talking Heads are so influential, even when this is not their best album. So tight too.

Ugh, slogging through this album was difficult...even Walk This Way was annoying. Only song that stand out is Sweet Emotion, by a mile the best song, perhaps the only enjoyable song on this album
Steely Dan
3/5
Not really my flavor but the band is tight, sounds good, there are a couple goofy/odd synth things that didn't add to the songs in any way
Patti Smith
5/5
Bob Marley & The Wailers
3/5
Not my favorite, I can hear the foundation of his great songs in this album
Leonard Cohen
4/5
Beatles
3/5
this album could have (should have) been 8 songs long and it would have been great. Instead you get artists who have reached the point where they thing every single musical fart they come up with is soooo important and has to be heard by the masses.

In 1993, when I was 14, I bought my first 2 CDs, Pink Floyd The Wall and The Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream. Listening to Siamese Dream is warm nostalgia, a remembrance of the troubled emotions of adolescents and the beauty of growing up. Absolutely love the album and it holds up so well 32 years later

When the songs are good, they are stellar but when they are bad, they are terrible. Overall, the 6 incredible songs earn a 4, couldn't give it a 5 because the bad songs are so bad and also Morrissey is insufferable.
