Oh I don't know It's really good, it's also really bad Just when you start liking it it smacks you in the ear with a rubbish section Songs are too long which may be the tipping point for me into not listening to it again

Perfection
Average indie rock album been plenty before and plenty after. Won't be on many people's list as while an enjoy listen you forget about it immediately after the last track
Never heard of this artist or album so went in blind. What a revelation it was. This is an excellent concept album and blows you away with how well it works
I try to like Bob Dylan I really to but every time I just hate it
A good album that is unfortunately let down by not having heard it before you have listened to the famous songs hundreds of times They are timeless classics and the other songs on the album while good aren't. So through no fault of the artist the album doesn't sound as good as it probably is nearly 40 years later
Average 60s cover band
Good but dated
This is one of those albums that if you was there at the time of release it means far more than if you are listening to it for the first time now I'm old enough to have been there and the nostalgia and memories that listening to this for the first time in years invokes means this is a great album. I completely understand why it would not have that effect on other people Albums from the 60s and 70s can have the same reaction from me. While not being perfect this album hits all the right notes for me and is a pleasant reminder of the power of music on the mind
Really wasn't expecting to like this album but was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it
Surprisingly good was expecting melodramatic rubbish but instead got a nice blast of 80s music
Not what I was expecting Really good with an edge to the songs that I was not ready for. Thought it would be twee easy lounge room songs
Over indulgent and far too long. Not something I need to listen to, I get you can play your instrument and don't need 5 or 6 minute solos to understand that fact
Absolutely awesome, went into thinking this would be self indulgent trash, could not be more wrong.
Self indulgent
Surprisingly mature and serious album Only heard there cheesey stuff before.
Sometimes you want music to put a smile on your face and lighten your mood, this album does just that.
I can see why people love this album and it should be one that I really enjoyed but I didn't. I don't know why but it just didn't hit the spot for me. Think it may be my age as am sure I would have loved this if I had bought it when it was released, I was 20 then 52 now.
Very self indulgent, why do bands in the 70s need to include "listen to me play my instrument" parts on every song.
Drugs are needed for this album
Was expecting this to be horrible but my God was I wrong, really good album and a quality listen
Oh I don't know It's really good, it's also really bad Just when you start liking it it smacks you in the ear with a rubbish section Songs are too long which may be the tipping point for me into not listening to it again
The problem is that you know the hits from years of hearing them on the radio and the rest of the album can't match them I imagine that when it was released it was a great listen when you had no comprehension of what to expect
Had listened to a greatest hits album by Hendrix and apart from the obvious hits didn't really like it. Listening to the same songs in the way they where originally organized and ordered and the experience is brilliant, they flow and the hits don't stand out as much. The whole album experience 5 star
It shouldn't work, I shouldn't like it But I do it's excellent, the only disappointment is that it's taken over 25 years from its release to listen to it
Bjork s music walks a very fine line between brilliance and shit. It's very really average Unfortunately this album while having a few moments of brilliance is mostly shit It's a pity as when it's good is good
Some of this album is outstanding while some is just plain boring
Not very much like the queen I was expecting. You can see the stadium rock songs coming but thankfully they are not here yet
Oversized overblown and over rated Very self indulgent and full of itself, typical prog rock
Mid 20s when brit pop was the thing and loved every minute of life back then. So glad I didn't listen to this then as it has some really poor tracks on this album and it's not a pleasurable listen
I don't really like Elvis Costello and wasn't looking forward to listening to this album. However much to my surprise I actually enjoyed it
