Thoroughly enjoyed. Had a Pink Floyd vibe.
Not a fan. I felt like I should be watching a late night b movie with the second half of the album. This is not the Bowie that I like to listen to.
Love this one. Great lyrics, vocals, and instrumentation.
A great first album. Skynyrd shows their musical range and ability on this album full of songs about love and heartbreak.
This is the album that got me into Rush in the first place. Musically and lyrically brilliant. I know a lot of people who don’t listen because they do t like Geddy’s voice, but to think that three guys make all that music!! How can you not be impressed?
Classic.
This came out when I was in high school. I now teach at a high school. This has not held up well lyrically.
If Tiny Tim went metal!
Felt like I was in a Tom & Jerry cartoon which is most of my exposure to jazz. I enjoyed it.
Loved it.
Not bad.
Not my thing.
Great live music.
The song inspired the movie! I had no idea. Many songs are much edgier.
Love the interaction with prisoners.
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I had feared a bunch of Maynard G. Krebs sitting in a circle playing bongos, but was treated to songs I recognized played well.
Not my thing. Every once in a while I got a Zappa vibe.
Enjoyed it.
Love Sam Cooke.
I don’t know why I didn’t listen to more of this in the 80s. Really enjoyed it.
Not my thing. Somehow reminded me of the vampire opera from Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Excellent!
I had no idea they had been around this long. This album was alright.
Had only ever heard Get Together. This was nice.
Sounded a lot like 60s psychedelia from the U.S.
Always loved El Paso!
Always love some AC/DC. This might be my favorite from the early years.
Better than I expected! Unfortunately it was still topical 20 years later.
I like a lot of the super soft early 70s music, but this wasn’t among those.
My second album by these folks and I haven’t been a fan of either.
The early MTV days. Love the throwback to their early punk days with Andy screeching or “Mother.”
Lots of hits!
Perfect!
I had had all I could take of Bon Jovi by the time this album was released. Not exaggerating when I say that I heard Shot Through the Heart ever day of lunch during high school.
I love a lot of 10cc music, but this is not my album.
Lost a star with Outro. That’s 10 minutes of my life that I’ll never get back.
