I don't get it. Sounds pretty generic to me.

The only time I will listen to this album due to him being a Nazi. I like this album the best out of what I have heard from him. Although anyone that sample’s King Crimson has a fan. Minus 3 stars for being a nazi.
This is a great debut album. They already have their signature sound up and running. Only downside is how short the album is.
This is their best album with no room for speculation. Top of their game, after perfecting their sound on previous albums. It is scary to think how good they would continue to be with Cliff if he survived. One of the best albums of the 80s.
Good album, a little played out at this point. I can't listen to it often due to that, but there are some bangers.
This is a Nick Cave album I have not listened to before. A little different in tone than the others I have heard, but still good. At times I love his stuff, and other times it is too much. Next time this album come up, I may not like it as much. They consistently put out good work though.
This could be their best album, but I go between which one of theirs is their best. Lots of bangers on this one, and the remaster from a few years ago sounds really good.
This was a great album when it came out. He has undeniable talent, it would have been a 5 star album except for the Bonnie and Clyde track. Now that I listen to it, it has not aged well. The talent is still evident, but the themes are tough. Too much misogyny and homophobia to begin with. I don't mind the darker themes dark humor, but some of the stuff doesn't seem like humor and is just hateful.
Never been a huge Springsteen fan, but he has some good song, and I can recognize his talent. After listening to this album, I can see why this album was well regarded but it isn't for me. Overall, just meh.
Good album, more so since it is their first. Revolutionary based on trends in music. Some long songs should have been split up and it would have improved the album.
People say that Nevermind killed hair metal, but I think the beginning of that started with this album. This is not hair metal even though they had similar looks. This was straight ahead hard rock closer to AC/DC than Poison. There is a serious rawness of this record which helped the overall album. It can also not be understated on how big this album was when it was released. Nothing was like it.
Started out rough. Didn't like it at all. About three songs in it started to grow on me. By the end it redeemed itself a little.
This was a good album, at the time. He did have some talent at the time. However time has not done him any favors. He is an opportunist fascist wanna be who is desperately trying to cling to any relevance he once had. Minus 3 stars for being a fascist.
Didn't get a chance to really dig into this album, but I would like to revisit it.
Meh.
Maybe have heard of these guys before, but for sure have not listened to them. This album was amazing. So weird, and inventive. I will be coming back to this one in the future.
It wasn't bad. Some decent tunes on that album, and it is a shame they got a One Hit Wonder tag.
Never listened to this, and was surprised by it. Much more instrumental than I had thought. I liked it.
Some tracks were great, some were just ok.
I don't get it. Sounds pretty generic to me.
Good album. Second half in particular.
The Kinks are great, but a little intimidating. This was the first time I listened to this album but it was really good.
This album wasn't on Apple Music which is a shame. I did find it on YouTube music but it was a fan playlist. I did really like this album and wished I could find it easier.
Not too bad. Not really my thing, but I can appreciate it.
I bet this sounds amazing on vinyl. This is one artist I have stayed away from on purpose because I was afraid he would be amazing. And guess what? He is.
This is a really good album. I have always liked this era of ZZ Top most.
Love this album. Own first pressing CD that I use for refence when listening to a new system. The cover is haunting, and fits the message of the album.
It was good. Not really into them, but I can appreciate the album. Times like this, I wish you could give half stars because I would bump this one up.
While I can appreciate his talent which includes the music and lyrics, I just don't like reggae. This album was hard to make it through for that reason. The Atmos mix on Apple Music sounds good.
I liked it, haven't heard anything in that length before, just bits and pieces.
This was a good album. I will admit I am a sucker for sample heavy, glitchy electronic music. The dark undertones of the album were a nice touch.
They knew how to rock live. Good live album. Hard to find just the original album to listen to.
Fuck Morrissey.
Goddamn do I love this album.
While I can recognize the cultural significance of this album, they are just insufferable.
Fuck Morrissey.
I was 20 years old when this album came out, and everything about it spoke deeply to my soul. As I struggled with relationship issues, the lyrics felt like they knew what I was going through, and the thought I had deep in me. If I could have worn out the cd like you could with a cassette, it would have happened. The album holds up, and I still love it.
Fuck Morrissey.
Fuck the Smiths, and that whiny bitch Morrisey.
Couldn't find it on Apple Music.
